I would like to know why the outlet pressure is 1 atm. The ansys is asking for gauge pressure. Most of the cases, people use the pressure value as 0. Just thinking about you outlet pressure value..
Why has velocity increased in a pipe with a uniform cross-section? According to Bernoulli's equation, velocity remains constant in a pipe with a uniform cross-section?
Because the fluid flow is through the hollow portion of the pipe and not the through the thickness. So, you consider only the geometry thats bounding the flow. You dont need to add the thickness to the pipe.

agree if you put zero, that means itself atmospheric pressure.
You're right.. he should've made either the operating condition as 0 or left the pressure outlet as 0
