A Magneto Hydro Dynamic (MHD) Micropump with a reciprocating mercury slug where the movement of the slug in the channel in conjunction with the unique performance of the nozzle/diffuser valve leads to the transformation of air from the inlet (on the left side) to the outlet (on the right side). This simulation was conducted by the OpenFOAM code using the MHD and VOF model.

This animation shows the transportation of proppant (particles) in a vertical converging channel (idealized fracture). This simulation was resulted by a 4-way coupling, fully resolved model (immersed boundary method (IBM)) of the CFDEM code (coupled LIGGGHTS and OpenFOAM) where the interactions of particles on flow were fully captures.

      Hi Bo, You can find the code here: www.cfdem.com/ After compiling the code you will have a tutorials folder where there are some helpful examples which can be modified to do your simulation. I started with the very last example on this website ( immersed boundary, 4-way coupled resolved CFD-DEM) using cfdemSolverIB solver. www.cfdem.com/resolved-cfd-dem-immersed-boundary I hope it helps.
