    Very nice! Renovations are always improvement to any country. Korea es a very beautiful country for what I can see in videos etc. My dream is to visit Korea and enjoy all the beautiful places you have there.

    Looks like ROK is trying to imitate the DPRK's landscape. Indeed, it's much better than the american style one.

    Personally I think It's too "hard", would be nicer if there're more substantial greenery especially in place surrounded by corporate building. But given its function as a square to begin with, not a park..I guess that makes sense

    It would be nice if they put trees or maybe art pieces to break up the massive concrete open space perhaps provide some shade too. Not too much because don't want to block view of the King and Admiral. Otherwise, it is a wonderful renovation.

      I saw many trees. But I don’t think it’s a good idea in case they have a concert or event there, they’d need that open space. If anything, they should do chalk art on the concrete. It would be a cool tourist attraction too.

      @@magnolia2 I know there were trees...they were just way off to the side. A few strategically placed trees are not going to hinder any event.
