If the US government responds by providing the same level of support to companies like GM or Tesla as the Chinese government, the electric car industries in countries like China, Korea, and Japan will all be destroyed.
The US actually provides more support for their car companies than China does. China gave BYD $3.7B in subsidies. @user-kv1go1hj6t What are you talking about? Xiaomi's Su7 is profitable with a gross margin exceeding 15%. "A huge loss" is investment cost associated with the assembly line, land, building, etc.
The reviewers are NOT praising the Mona. They notice the cheapness in materials, lack of great ADS (hardware and software restrictions) and less comfort due to torsion beam
Reviewers are overwhelmingly praising the Mona - Interior and materials are good for its price with soft touch at appropriate places. Don't expect premium materials for $16k - Base trim has class-leading LCC and auto-park. Max trim has vision-based city ADAS, albeit only available in early 2025 - Although it is torsion beam, reviewers have feedback that it is tuned so well that most people will not notice the difference. In exchange for that, you get a huge boot space, largest in its class.
So cheap I suspect that Chinese gov is helping them to keep those prices low as a way to help china to control the ev market. My concern is the lack of control on the software that comes with it. Where all the data is stored etc. All the over the air updates. Who knows what gets installed.
They help all their manufacturers that's how they went from poor to rich in a short amount of time. Everything you buy from shirt buttons to computers has to do with the ch govt support. It's not like it's a new sneaky Chinese trick. The US chose China to be the manufacturers of choice back in the day simply because the Ch govt was able to do this. Only difference now is China grew more than they wanted so now they're a threat. 😂

Speaking of losses, it's well known that Ford loses up to $100K per EV sold.
@@celanian8188 Wow, how much does the Chinese government subsidize the hundreds of Chinese electric car companies?
@user-kv1go1hj6t What are you talking about? Xiaomi's Su7 is profitable with a gross margin exceeding 15%. "A huge loss" is investment cost associated with the assembly line, land, building, etc.
CCP money
I can't support the china government when I can help it.
This channel has turned into a Chinese propaganda outlet. Just look at the comments. 🤣
The reviewers are NOT praising the Mona. They notice the cheapness in materials, lack of great ADS (hardware and software restrictions) and less comfort due to torsion beam
Reviewers are overwhelmingly praising the Mona
- Interior and materials are good for its price with soft touch at appropriate places. Don't expect premium materials for $16k
- Base trim has class-leading LCC and auto-park. Max trim has vision-based city ADAS, albeit only available in early 2025
- Although it is torsion beam, reviewers have feedback that it is tuned so well that most people will not notice the difference. In exchange for that, you get a huge boot space, largest in its class.
You need to pay more money if you want everything premium. How greedy are you? :)
😂 where does Chinese government get the money then…
@@MrGuitar1975from profits in other industries ? Cn is worlds factory
Do you have the same concern about your smart phone & pc?
@@Wavetheory85 I would probably be less worried about Chinese brand phones or PCs. You can always wipe them clean and install a clean android or windows os. You cannot do that with a car.
Nothing to see hear. Chinese company selling a loss leader car
