    Thank you so much for your instructions on how to string double beads. I have thrown away so many broken double hole bean that was nice. Now that I know what to do, I will save them and repair them on my own. Thank you again.

    Allie...this is lovely. Never knew Miyuki made spacers, so I will plan on getting these for sure. Thank you!
    QUESTION: I have 2 old stretch bracelets of just large, 2-hole, metal beads (beads are ~1.5" by 0.75" and 1" by 1"). They have lost their stretch and need to be restrung. However, the stretch cord on them now is not plastic, but seems to have almost a metallic layer on top of an elastic core. Do you have any recommendations on what kind of stretch cord to replace this old cord with? Obviously, I'm looking for something durable.

    I have these really cool rhinestone beads that are round and they have the stone on top with gold around them, and 2 holes top and bottom and htey are flat backed, and when I try to string them even if I make really sure to get the string going down the same way and come out same side, they still twist. I need help not to make them twist. I hope this made sense, I wanted them to lay flat but they don't.

    Really love the video but was turned off by the condition of your nails. Couldn't hurt to clean them up before shooting. Sorry, but just being honest.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  7 лет назад +5

      Allie usually spends a lot of time each week getting nails done. However, sometimes with 4 kids, sports, gardening, and an 80-hour+ work week, there just isn't time to spend additional hours... a choice must come down to either doing a tutorial without updated nails, or not doing a tutorial at all.

    • @nilahalbig3249
      @nilahalbig3249 7 лет назад

      OK, thanks. Love your tutorials

    • @nanajodi201
      @nanajodi201 7 лет назад +6

      Excuse me, I don't usually comment on others comments, but I felt your comment needed an answer from a fan of Allies. If you "love your(Allie's) tutorials" Then that implies that you have watched others and you know and/or have seen that Allie is usually very well manicured. Given that she has four small children at home and helps run an amazing business, while sharing her enormous talent for beadweaving as stated above, perhaps you should cut her some slack? Have you seen her beautiful children? They are growing up happy and well cared for. It is truly backwards to make unkind remarks then throw in an off handed 'compliment' like "love your tutorials" Sorry, just being honest.

    • @nilahalbig3249
      @nilahalbig3249 7 лет назад

      I am a fan of her videos and was just stating my opinion. I am sorry if I hurt any feelings, that was not my intent. "Sorry Allie, keep up your amazing videos."
