1. US - Dec 2021
2. US - Nov 2021
3. US - July 2021
4. Spain - Jun 2021

Given the above travel history, should I answer the top 2 most recent travels as answer A or answer B?
Answer A:
1. 1st most recent travel - US Dec 2021
2. 2nd most recent travel - US Nov 2021
Answer B:
1. 1st most recent travel - US Dec 2021

This was a confusing question even when we were filling the application. Don’t remember exactly but suggest you go by the language of the question i.e. if it’s asking last 3 across US and then last 3 across EU then specify so, otherwise if it’s across both together, then the most recent overall should suffice.

What if i change my employer as skilled worker visa do i need to change my dependents visa or wait until there previous visa expiry?

Our employers had their own tie ups for visa consultants, so don’t have lot of details here. But there are many reputed visa consultancies out there like delloite n many more/ more easy way is to check via employer
Guys there is no impact on the dependent visa holders of skilled worker visa. Their visa will be valid till the last date of their previous visa and then they can extend it before their current visa expires to match the partners skilled worker visa.

Is it after the decision of the visa or when the visa applications is still pending?
When you apply to update the visa with a new employer, you get a new brp after your visa is updated and old brp becomes invalid.

Quick Query- my partner has a dependant visa from my current employer. When I am applying for a change in employer should I mention dependents or just mention No (No dependants applying with me)? I am guessing I should mention No dependents in the new form as they already have dependent visa (from old employer). Please let me know your thoughts.
We aren’t really sure about this as we haven’t gone through this scenario. But some of our viewers did say what you suggested. Id recommend checking on gov.uk to make sure you have the right information

Hello need one advice from you. My brother has recently arrived to uk under Tier 2 Skilled Visa as a restaurant Chef.
He is intending to do 20 extra hours in Hospital in Care field.
So i would like to seek your advice whether he is allowed to work additional 20 hours in any care related job in hospital or in any other fast food or Cafe.
Please advice if he is allowed to work as,
1- Carer, House Keeper or Cleaner in hospital
2- Cafe waiter, KFC or Macdonald crew

You can only work a certain no. Of hours in secondary job in skilled worker visa. Please check on gov.uk website
Does one need to submit the passport at time of biometric appointment of skilled worker visa from within the UK?
Not sure about first time visa process from within UK, but if it's a visa update on job change, they don't keep the passport.

Hi, we are not visa or legal consultants. Afaik, there are some limit on how many hours of part time work can one do on skilled worker visa. Please check gov.uk
Is it Mandatory to withdraw previous COS before applying for new sponsorship visa? Is it possible to have another Cos while i am having one?
There’s no cos withdrawal. When you apply for visa update with new cos your new brp is now tagged to the new cos and old one is no longer valid then

1) My BRP is expiring 20-Oct-2023 and i want to travel in August-2023, i may come back by September-2023, how early i can apply for BRP ?
I mean can i come back and apply for renew BRP application at the end of September or start of October ? will it be ok ?

Ihs charges will need to be paid again but old ihs charges get partially refunded, you have to apply for that
On the travel date and applying for new visa, it might be better to postpone the travel if you can just to be safe.
Is the name of new employer mentioned on BRP card?
If no then why is there new BRP for new employer ?
It’s not mentioned on BRP but you get a new BRP because now your validity date will be according to new cos by new employer and how long they sponsor your visa for

If they have given you the COS don’t see a reason why they would back out. All the best with your process!

I got my approval for 5 years skilled worker visa.
My employer has given me COS from 20 dec 2021 to 20 dec 2026.
Now in approval mail, I have got my Visa validity from 20 dec 2021 to 15 oct 2026.
This is 2 month 5 days shortage for 5 years visa.
Will this be a problem while applying for PR?
If so, what are the things needs to be done before that ?

You can check on gov.uk - you need to apply for the refund, doesn’t happen automatically

Not sure. We didn’t have a police clearance in our original visa as well so we didn’t need to do it in the visa update as well

Usually if you update the BRP, they do biometrics again, so not sure abt your case why it’s not needed. Best to check with employer/ visa consultant

Search for roles on LinkedIn and other job portals in your areas of interest and apply to as many as you can with customized cv and cover letters. Job search can be a a bit tedious but anything is possible if you stay at it and gain relevant skills and experience
