No you don’t. If your certificates/transcripts are in English, they should be good enough to apply for an ECCTIS certificate.

Small correction to what you have said. Taking IELTS or any other English proficiency test isn’t mandatory if the applicant is a graduate(which mostly is the case) who was taught in English. One can apply for a UK ENIC certificate by supplying them with the medium of instruction certificate obtained from their respective college along with their degree certificate and statement of grades. ENIC certificate alone is enough to prove English proficiency.

@@vinaysharma1926 Hi, if I remember correctly, for obtaining an ENIC certificate you can either submit the certificates I mentioned in my comment earlier or submit English test results. I for certain know that you don’t need an English proficiency test if your degree was taught in English. I obtained my ENIC certificate the same way. But I don’t know for certain if you don’t need to attach the documents I mentioned, if you are using pte to prove your English competency. Please verify that on the ENIC website.

I believe I read online that if you've been living in the UK for the past 12 months you don't need the proof of finances.

2. As per my understanding it depends on which country you are applying from. If you are applying from Germany, you most probably won't need one. If you apply from India, you will. Suggest you check this with a solicitor.

Is it true that a company can NOT sponsor you if the job isn’t specialized enough? As in, if your company says that the role isn’t skilled enough to sponsor you to work because there’s a high chance that there’s a UK citizen that would know how to do the job? Thus, not being able to “prove” why they’d need to sponsor you to work overseas? Please help. 🙏🏽
So the thing is, not all jobs can be sponsored. For instance, you can't get sponsorship for the role of a cook, but you can get sponsorship for a chef. So basically, it depends on the role but yes.

Hello Ashika, I received passport today with Skilled worker VISA. Passports are labelled with VISA sticker for all three applicants (self, partner and child) and BRP collection letters (partner and child, not received for self). Although VRF no. is updated in VISA/passport for me. Need to know can I travel to UK without BRP letter and collect BRP card from post office or should I raise concern to UKVI and wait for the letter and then only plan my travel.

Hi Madam. I have recently applied skilled worker visa. but I didn't upload OD Certificate and medium of instruction letter. Only mark sheets, PC, CMM and ECCTIS Certificate were uploaded.
