Do have a question about the visit period. As it mentioned for a single visit stay allowed upto 180 days. What if that visitor do have 2 years of standard visitor visa and after 160 days travelled out of the UK for 1 month and came back to UK. Will that person eligible to enter in UK?? And is there any cooling period after 180 days single visit is not allowed to travel back to UK??

I applied for UK visitor visa from canada for me, my spouse and kid but while applying it just asked me for spouse details in application form (as who are travelling with u to uk)and on payment page it says $152 USD so not asked to pay for spouse and kid. My questions are
1. Does the visa fees is per applicant or per application.
2.Also in docs checklist it ask for my docs only and my signature

1) If I'm planning to visit UK around 5th or 6th August 23 till 23rd August 23 I can only apply in May'23 or I can apply now as I heard there is lot of backlog for visa processing.

we r planning a UK visa for family (me, spouse n children) , I understand that applications for visa will be separate for each individual, but how will i ensure that they are all processed together as a unit and we get the same slot for VFS offfice for biometrics.
You can choose the same date and timing. The timing can be little different. Its you will will chose the timing if the slot is emplty.

USA green card is an immigration status granted for only US. Does not apply for UK they rely on country of nationality

Hi Ashika. I think you said it was 8 weeks for a decision, but UK website says 3 weeks. Maybe 8 weeks is particular to India, or perhaps the period is particular to the visa type. Thanks for the tips!
Hi Martyn, the dates keep changing depending on the backlog. It's better now. But a few months ago my family applied and it took them 3 months.

@@ramkumarbarathan I figured it out. Once you make the payment, it will take you to TLS page and you can book your appointment. Pls be careful in choosing the slots. They have free slots and paid slots (premium lounge / prime time etc. very expensive ) once u select paid slots you can’t make any changes. I had cancel all 3 applications because it was coming up to 1000eur only visa and appointment which is stupid. There are no slots for this month. You need to check everyday for slots otherwise u will miss out.

Hey there, you'd need to go to a biometrics center.
Pls I want to ask when booking for flight, must it be a return ticket and if it is, should I just book the tickets for 5months
You don't need to book tickets to get your visa and you don't have to book it together. But when you enter the UK if you don't have a return ticket, immigration might ask you questions till they are assured you'll leave and that you can afford to live in the UK during the visit.

You're tutorial is not complete...I'm in a step that I cannot make an appointment...to continue it transferred me to a third party...which requires more and more money

Travel date is just for them to know your plans. they will issue 6 month visa. you may travel any time in between.
