I have been lucky enough to have a local liquor store afford me the chance to get 4 bottles at msrp. I for one think this is one of the very few bottles I would pay secondary (200) for...
This is a special one… and with inferior bottles going for way more I get why people pay more for a bottle like this… one of the goals when starting this collection was to try and stay around msrp when buying… I just appreciate the stores that keep prices where they are supposed to be…
The reality is way too many boxes of the allocated stuff are dropping off the trucks of the distributors. The bars and distributors have entered the secondary markets and it's not even a guess. You got secondary guys selling cases of maker's mark cellar aged, stagg, etc... You don't get that from brick and mortar because they don't even get that. The whole three tier system is garbage.
I agree… I don’t get the whole allocated…. They made it… and are willing to sell it… put it on the shelf the the lucky one who walks in gets it for the price it is supposed to be… to many greedy people!!

This is one of the few bottles I would break my $20 over msrp rule I try to stick by… can’t wait to put this in some blinds… by itself it is crazy good… but don’t think I would go over $100…
Just found your channel, loved the review. That being said, there's no way the juice in the WT 101 bottle (during "uncracking" cut away) wasn't piss. 😂

I still haven’t found any stagg ..I did get lucky and got a bottle of George t stagg cask strength recently though

Very good juice but at 2ndary its a big NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything over $100 I'm leaving it on the shelf
I totally agree…. We had one a couple weeks ago for $199…. Didn’t tempt me at all…. Even when I didn’t think I was ever going to get another one….
A store near me has 3 bottles sitting on the shelf at $329 and they've been there for over a month

Stores have to buy so much other stuff to get 1 bottle. Cases of other Stuff.
Which I also do not think it is right… but that doesn’t give them the right to jack up prices on more desired bottles…
