#homefree #acapella #cover #coversong #mashup
Unless you are familiar with both songs, you wouldn't realise that it was two different songs mashed together.
This video doesn't get nearly enough play time or reactions--thanks for doing it!!
Love this fun arrangement--such a creative mixture of songs, performed with unfathomable expertise❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
Another wicked mash up they did awhile back is Woman, Amen/Female. A fabulous cover of songs by Keith Urban and Dierks Bentley that few reactors watch. Definitely recommend it❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
#HomeFree
When I was younger I lived pretty far in the country, worked on a farm for a little bit and did a lot of wood work primarily removing a large part of a forest that dry and dead, that took a few years and sense we used a wood burning stove we used a lot of it for that, loved having some drinks around a fire pit and heading out fishing by the dock (I could get the fish off just fine but could not put the worm on) just down the street. This song made me think of that.
One of my absolute favorites. They opened one of the concerts I was at with this and the entire audience went nuts as soon as the first 2 notes came out. Absolutely fabulous. Chris has a video on his channel about trying the mash these two songs together. If you want more sexy Chris, try his cover of Senorita with Michaela Paige. Bring your fan.
This is still in my top 3 favorite home free songs. Its just so good
That’s the first song they usually sing as the come out on stage at their concerts. ❤ sounds sooooo good ❤
Love #HomeFree
For me one of the best Mashups from Home Free. You don't even realize it's 2 songs. It flows together so well. A song that has a vibe that you don't hear much from HF. Really amazing. The video is awesome. HF can sing with all of them beautiful voices but still so different, just everything
I truly LOVE this mashup !!! They opened my very first Home Free concert with this song !!! And if I am not mistaken the concert in April opened with this also. Thanks for a great reaction.
They always have interesting videos! First of all, credit to them as you just know they are creatively in charge of their videos. But lets give props to the people who shoot their videos and edit them. They do a phenomenal job!
I don’t know if this one dated back to their Sony contract days or not but they literally always have creative, great videos. You know a hired team did not conceive the Brother LARPING video or tell Adam to wear his mage outfit and Chance to wear his Mandalorian suit. That was clearly all them. But the Production team behind the filming and editing is top notch.
They often sing this as their opening number on live shows. Great reaction.
Tim's bass in this is shaking the theatres! What a start to a concert.
one of my fav's
You should listen to HomeFree, " The Butts Remix"
Thanks DJ 😊
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band did Fishing in the Dark and Little Big Town did Boondocks.
As a country boy, one of my favorite Home Free songs
When I saw them in concert, this was the song they opened with. ❤❤❤
Please react to American Soldier by Toby Keith. You will be blown away by Toby Keith’s patriotism.
❤️❤️
They usually open their concerts with this. I never get tired of it.
The guys did their thing and each made this amazing! But Adam doing the Michael Jackson moves through out the whole thing had me laughing so hard but.. he was actually good at it! Great reaction! 🤙
Love this fantastic mash-up! Great reaction DJ. When asked #HomeFree has said this is their most difficult song to do but also their favourite because of all the moving parts. It’s phenomenal live!
This is what I love about Home Free! I never really liked country music much until I heard Home Free. I love what they do to the songs, and done acapella too. This is a vibe and I love it!
This is so much fun live. The bass hits you in the chest, and they get the crowd singing & dancing with them. And they feed off that crowd energy. Completely electric.
Great reaction as usual 😊
Fishin' in the Dark was THE party song when I was in college - couldn't go to a party without hearing it. Gosh I have so many memories associated with that song. 😀
Love your reaction. You need to react to David Phelps Virtuoso live. He is the best modern day tenor out there.
They still routinely perform this one live.
Dude!! You keep saying starship..... it's "Spaceship"!! 😂😂😂❤❤❤
BTW... I did not know this tidbit. The bass notes at the very end when they are standing together in a washed out black/white/ color version (Adam in the middle) are being performed by Adam Rupp! That guy rocks my world with his incredible range!
Hey, if you haven't, you really, really need to look up a live show performance of this one. It is incredible too, same type of the song, but even better in some ways watching them do what they do! They are different, of course, but look one of the posts a fan has put out there some time. And if you never have, BE SURE to watch 9 to 5 live on stage so you can watch them all do their beat box battle. It is one of the most shocking things to watch live! Been there, done that! Take care and thanks!!
My all-timer
ADAM Rupp is the beat boxer not Chris he's Adam's brother
I LOVE your reactions!! And I'm just completely obsessed with HF! 😍
And btw, that is a Tater Rake that Tim is combing his hair with. 😂
(I am country lol 😂) A pitch fork has straight teeth for hay bales and whatnot, a Tater Rake has curved teeth for digging up taters and vegetables and stuff lol.
I loved your reaction, I totally agree with you, Chris Rupp is amazing, he should have been featured much more than he was, he has such an incredible voice. I love this mashup, this was so fun, this was immediately on the playlist. I am so glad you do Chris Rupp reactions, if you wanna see the home free newest member check out 7th Ave videos.Adam is a great singer
Seconding this. If you need any recommendations, I would throw out the Millennial Medley.
@@Katie-mb8zj and footloose, that's a good one
That harmonica sound was Austin it was hard to tell because of the black and white and Adam and Austin are both wearing bandanas it usually in only Adam that wears one. Austin did the same sound. Austin did kinda the same sound in Do You Hear What I Hear.
You should put on the patron polls Chris’s group 7th Ave that way you hear Adam Bastien ( HF new member)
Chris and Tristen Rupp ( Chris and Adam’s sister ) it’s a win win rolled into one group
It´s actually a guitar sound and he does it live in their 9-5 beatbox breakdown
@@mettesrensen6116 I know I was just repeating what he said so he could understand which sound I was talking about and he does the same sound in Do You Hear What I Hear
💜💚🦌
❤❤❤This is country at it's best great reaction as usual
❤
Their version of My ol Man, makes me cry every time. This is a riot in concert!
12:25 starts what is literally my favorite part in the original song and it's just as good here. Maybe better! The layering always scratches such a wonderful itch in my brain.
Yeahhhh !! This one is funny and crazy good ❤❤❤
One of their best! They had the audience on their feet with this entro right from the beginning of the concert I went to. I agree you should review a song or two from 7th Ave Band. Chris absolutely shines in that group, plus he and Bastien are perfect together. An added bonus is you get to hear the 3rd Rupp, their sister. She has a killer voice.
This is another one of my favorites! I love this mashup of these 2 songs & they both fit together seamlessly. Also love the psychedelic feel to the video. Very creative. Adam's vocal percussion is great as always. And Tim's bass is so low in this song.
They used to open their concerts with this and it was freaking awesome, then they opened with Life is a Highway, and it was great, but because of popular demand they went back to opening with this, and I don't know of anyone who complains. It will be interesting to hear Bastien in this song, though, since he's not a country as Austin.
They are so talented and hilarious!!
Your comment at the end of the song was exactly what I said! Dam*! Golly I love these guys! Great reaction!
This is absolutely one of my favorites. I knew that you would love this song. Love your reaction!
It may be hard to hear but Tim drops one of the lowest notes he can produce in this song, a B0, which is the same note Geoff did in the Halo cover
Geoff did an interview where he said Tim helped him get better with his lows.
He can sing off the piano but doesn't put it in recordings as he isn't going to attempt it live. I know we've heard his A5 live ...so I'm guessing he can get into the 6th octave but it's not something he's going to attempt on something he will have to repeat live. What he has show us range wise is already crazy and all of it quality.
Besides the great singing with this mashup, FifGen did an amazing job with the video filming!
Another person who didn't realize this was a mashup of two songs because it was done so well! HF sang this as the first song when I saw them in March. One of my favorites!
I saw them do this as the opening numb er at the concert I went to in March. Amazing, but unfortunately no Supermodel moment.
I'd never heard either of these songs before I heard this mashup so I had terrible trouble working out which song was which. This is one of my favourite Home Free songs. It seems to not get much reaction from reactors which is a massive shame. Great reaction DJ.
If you like mash ups, you should react to DJ cummerbund.
I don’t see enough people reacting to his stuff, but he is the master of mashups and if you haven’t seen him yet, you should
So glad you liked it! It’s one of my favorites. Mash up or not…I love it. Yeah the boys were having fun. Austin and Tim were so funny. It’s so good and I noticed lots of bass from Tim. Good one DJ! Wait til you see the new Adam (yes, another Adam!). He’s a cutie. 😄
I found this and I am hearing it and I love it. Austin did a great job and Tim's low bass voice I love his bass. Rob and Chris did great to. Adam's beatboxing is great. I love your reactions of these two songs.😊😊😊
I love these boys too!!!!! 18:14
Such an amazing mashup
I want to say thank you for what you said about Chris. I don't think that he gets enough credit for all he did. This is a great mashup to listen to for sure. I always enjoy watching your reaction to these guys.
I love this mash-up! ! I love all their videos but especially the live ones. I'm not sure you've even heard of their cover of "A Little Bit of Everything": ruclips.net/video/-N-4O5HyfnA/видео.htmlsi=z1KYnlWm-NK6ZqqP - It's a live video & Chris sings lead on it.
I'm sure that Adam Bastien will be a great addition to the band but Austin's gonna be a tough act to follow. BTW, in an interview on y/t Chris said he brought in a giant fan to make Austin's hair blow.
Have you heard their version of Bruce Springsteen 's Born in the USA?
So who's going to make sure DJ is ready for Adam Bell Bastine ?
Been wondering this myself ever since Bastien was announced 🤣. And he did both this song and Delta Dawn justice at his 2 debut performances.
Chris squashed a rooster? Why?!
Too many pauses.
