    Where was this video when I started learning about this, the 30 minutes of this video are packed with some information and tips that took me a few hours worth of videos to learn about 😅

    I taught for 20 years and I think you have some of the best explanation skills of anyone I've encountered. Very precise and concise, making it easy to understand. You and your crew are a lot of fun as well. Well done.

    Nice video. When negative rigging what are your thoughts regarding the placement of your flip line and climbing line in terms of above or below the rigging line pulley. Thanks.

    • @VeteranTreeService
      @VeteranTreeService  Месяц назад

      I think the best answer is to have the flip/climb line positioned in a place where you can bail out of the tree at any point. I prefer to have it further away from my saw, so I go below rigging.

    Awesome job! Cool to see those big limbs lift and fly away. What size rigging rope was you using?

    Why do most climbers leap frog and not shoot the line up? And also why do they climb up just to come back down? I am a new climber so just curious

    Obligatory engagement comment:
    See this is good in theory. But maybe you should do it my way. Just flip-line up, struggle the whole way, never be comfortable because you can't sit in your harness, burn out your legs in 40 minutes and then cry yourself to sleep at night as the fatigue finally overtakes the soreness. I should mention - I only do this a few times a year, and am a complete amateur.
    Get on my level, VTS!

    Having the carabiner to sling to pulley is just to many pieces in the rigging for something to fail. I would do a way with it to be safer. Yes I know they can handle alot of weight but being able to take one less failing part out the rigging is better
    Also im tired of this grandpa is from the movie Holes

      I just bought a block to use for stem wood instead of the Omni. So that set up will change moving forward. Thanks for letting me know the movie reference.

      @@VeteranTreeService yeah I dont like a bunch of extra equipment in the rigging system that adds more potential of failure. Also no problem on movie references big movie person 😂
