Just purchased the Typhon to replace my Sub Phatty and Minitaur due to space. The thing sounds insane and is so versatile for the money! Can’t wait, great video aswell!!
@@NatLifeSounds The Sub Phatty definitely has a bigger and bolder tone, but it just can't get into some of the realms that the Typhon can. I still have my Sub Phatty & Minitaur but they don't really get used as much as the Typhon. The only thing I have noticed with my Typhon is it's really noisy (checking out Stimmings review) to the point where it's getting frustrating as it's a blast of white noise on every recording. I recently got the Dreadbox cable but it's not done anything.
Thanks a lot! Typhon offers a lot, even more considering the price. I mean, even for a decent effect unit with this quality you have to pay a similar amount of money. Not to speak of the great sounding synth engine. I'd only wished for noise as another sound source.

wow this just sounds awesome. Mostly enjoyed this as pieces of music :) I already have some dreadbox synths, and bought a Pro3 last year so I'm not allowing myself any monos for a while ... anyway great video !! cheers
great sounds! what is the firmware version this pack was created with it? Does is take advantage of additional FX introduced in 2.0 and additional nodulation capabilities from 3.0? Thanks
Just got these loaded up. I want to keep my language civilized but $&^*$^*#$ this is amazing!! Overall much better, IMO, than any of the patches that came on the synth.
Thanks! I don’t think so. After finishing this pack I felt that I couldn’t bring enough patches together that would be different enough to justify a new pack, although I like the typhon a lot. Next packs will be for the JD08 and then the Hydrasynth.
I'm so set on getting a typhon! Am I the only one thinking that the oscillators sound deceptively similar to the prophet 5's or let's say the take 5's? Juicy and bright with extensive low end... quite the opposite of say a minilogue xd. And those features for that price plus the great portability... i mean, come on...
Typhon is without a doubt a great sounding synth with lots of sweet spots. Also the effects are great. I wished only that it had noise additionally to the VCO

The pack has been created with 3.1 so I’d say yes.
