uh... you just blew my mind with your ability to play nearly every esoteric genre of music. Sounds of the synth are one thing, but you played each sound beautifully.
@@push-pull3647 Not at all! =) I'm not keeping the Hydrasynth, but it's been a transformative part of my journey. I have a really clear vision of how I want to make and improve at music now, and I thank you for the role that you and your videos played. I hope you keep making and sharing patches for your instruments; you are very capable and inventive.
So I bought the Hydra a few days ago. No need for a synth since I have plenty of them. Arrived in my studio, plugged in the Hydra and played for half an hour. Wasn't that enthusiastic. Ok, this is a stone cold synth. And now I see/hear this video. So nice sounds are possible on the Hydra. Well done ! Thank you.
Thank you. Finally nice to see a video where the demonstrator can actually play well. It totally changes your perception of the patches. So refreshing compared to drowning in an ocean of hacks...
I just wanted to say thank you for this fantastic collection of patches. Your videos are some of the best at showing off the power of the Hydrasynth and I have just downloaded this set and also your amazing Secret Collection, thank you for all your work on this and showing the power and beauty of this truly stunning modern masterpiece of a synth.
I bought Vol1 and Vol2 yesterday and I am very happy with the quality of the patches. They sound fantastic! Big compliment to the creator / creators. The macros are great for tweaking on the fly. I am looking forward to using these patches in my future songs and for jamming. The price made my purchase decision very easy.
Very much like hearing a keyboardist/pianist play this thing. I only have an acoustic piano, and recently I've been toying with the idea of playing some of that repertoire on a synth like the Hydra (perhaps the Deluxe).
Before I've watched your video, I wasn't convinced if hydrasynth was a good option for me, because in others reviews it sounded to me too digital. I've been looking for something with analog warming sounds, but at the same time with huge possibilities and usability from new technologies in a reasonable price. Thank you so much!, now I know I can make whatever I want with hydrasynth, from very simple and classic to very complex and experimental sounds.
Exactly. I look at this like a clean slate. With a bit of work and practice you cant get almost anything from it. Cant say the same about many other synths. OK sure nothing sounds EXACTLY like raw analog circuitry, but you haver to ask yourself if that little bit extra is worth the compromises that come with buying most analog synths. I do wish the Hydra had 12 voices or more though....
👏🏻👏🏻 somehow you’ve created all the sounds that resonate with me. These are the sounds I hear in my head when speaking of a synthesizer…..well done sir. Very close to pulling the trigger and getting me a desktop version…and this pack ofc.
Wow, nice show casing what this synth is capable off! Which is a lot. So happy I own one. :D I'm not typically one that buys patches, but for this bank, I'm really tempted. Nice work!
man!! You absolutely killed with these patches!! Got the two Hydra ones, after going through the first 10 of the 64 I already have my eyes on the Minilogue XD patches! Amazing work. The custom macros are a thing of beauty to play with! Thank you @push-pull
best demo ive seen demonstrating organic capabilities of this device, so different from the mostly cliche demonstrations that were made of this machine, thank you
incredible playing from 1:30 to 2:20...just fantastic note selection and phrasing and everything. i can tell you have lots of classical experience. could easily be a composition in an indie video game or something.
I bought this pack. It's honestly so good-- I really wish there were more patches like this in the presets because they are mostly quite corny. Please do more!!
There really is some warmth in this synth. It would be nice to have these vintage patches to go with the wave table type sounds and the weird stuff, especially since poly aftertouch is so great.
finally someone who knows how to make patches for the hydra please make more please make more i bought those ignition patches i dont get it i cant use any sounds from him great job on ur sounds please make more thanks
I'm a big fan of your videos, watched the Korg's demos many times, this is the first time watching this one. I was going to get a Prologue but seems that it doesn't sound any "warmer" or "more analog" than this Hydrasynth, plus this has endless possibilities and the price is more or less the same
You can't go wrong with the Hydrasynth. My only problem is all of these programmers are making amazing sounds that I want to add to my Hydrasynth. I wish they had a place to add a hard drive. But that's just me. I may buy the desktop too
Adding the desktop for overflow is definitely worth it, although the ASM board can practically roll along side anything in the recent Korg line and sound phenomenal too. Just tailor to what you want. Those loving the character of hydra will love adding the Dt.
Love your channel and presets man! Picked up your Minilogue XD ones! Excellent stuff, thank you 🙏. I installed another pack and they overwrote yours. I will buy again they, yours are that great.
Just got the desktop version today, and freaking out over it. 😍 Great for planetarium/space/weird music, but I mainly do synthwave. Thinking of getting rid of all those Roland Boutiques...this does the job just as well as evidenced by your patches.
Really good playing. Thank you for sharing this. The patches are great and this was the best demo I have seen for the ASM. Great work by great musician.
5:17 reminds me of a game called Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion that I have on PSP...It has an awesome OST and this somehow brought back memories of that game. Solid patches.
What you have done with the Hydrasynth is just amazing 😉. One of the best sounds sets of have listened to many times. I own many synths , but these sounds now make me ready to order a Hydrasynth. And of course order your sound set when I get it. I hope you extend your discount to us just coming on board with you. I hope to see many new sounds from you. Keep Up Your Outstanding Hard Work. And till I get my Hydrasynth, I will be going back to your great video. Regards ,TotallyKenny
@theinvisibleman how can you tell the difference? I bet everyone that says "it sounds so digital" wouldn't be able to tell it apart from, say, a Juno in a live setting. Granted that you can't see the synth on the stage. Lol
@theinvisibleman Well on my Explorer I get some pretty nice fat analogy filter sweeps with the saws and trisaws, squares etc. And if you really want to sound like a purist, switch off the reverb and waggle that mod wheel lol.
wow its so awesome to see someone who can play rather than just twisting the knobs!!! was such a pleasure to watch this video! thanks!!! (want more)
uh... you just blew my mind with your ability to play nearly every esoteric genre of music. Sounds of the synth are one thing, but you played each sound beautifully.
Great patches, but more importantly, you're a KILLER PLAYER! You just earned a subscriber!
Thanks ! 😎
It's funny how this video I saw 4 years ago during the Pandemic resulted in me buying a Hydrasynth last year.
Thank you for your comment, and I'm so sorry for this purchase ! 😅

As a hack I resent that.

I’m buying one ASAP! I subscribed because your playing and choice of examples is the best there is out here in terms of synth demos. BRAVO.
Thanks Ned !
Just bought everything you have - FANTASTIC - please keep creating
This is definitely the best have heard the Hydrasynth sound, so far, better than the harsh digital sounding factory presets, well done.
What a great demonstration and set of patches! I love this.
Merci pour cette démo, c'est hallucinant la qualité des sons et surtout l'expressivité. BRAVO !!!
Very much like hearing a keyboardist/pianist play this thing. I only have an acoustic piano, and recently I've been toying with the idea of playing some of that repertoire on a synth like the Hydra (perhaps the Deluxe).
Great job on these, love the Violin and the String Synths.
Awesome playing and patches!!! and damn this synth is way more versatile than I thought
Oh my God the linear synth is incredible, brings back so many memories of old DS games using linear PCM synth sounds in the soundtrack.
Really nicely done. Some nice bits of nostalgia in there! :-)
The ASM Hydrasynth seems to have a very nice clean and expressive filter.

Great sounds and amazing demo.
Sounds wonderful! I'm saving up for a hydra, and when I get one, this pack is right up my alley, since I'm a sucker for 80s synth. ❤
Good luck with the saving, I'm hoping to get one in January!
Loved that Nineties Pad! Awesome video, really shows the versatility of Hydrasynth!
Wow, nice show casing what this synth is capable off! Which is a lot. So happy I own one. :D

Very practical and useful patches…definitely at the top of my list. Well done. Thank YOU!
Got my hydrasynth for Christmas and just bought this and your other patch bank. Sounds great!
Woah, what Sounds, and what little Jams. That Synth and that Player are amazing😁😉
Easily the most musical patch demo video I’ve ever watched too.
I look forward to making some music with these, thanks!

Your sound design is amazing
Perfektion at all ... wonderful sounds and an artist playing them ...
All sound wonderful. I especially love the phased stringer. I'm a huge JMJ fan.
Just got it, can't wait for more patches! This collection here is Gold!

Will buy your pack man. You rock as sound designer as well as composer and performer.
Greetings from Italy
How can we buy these sounds?
I just ordered one of these synths. Due next week. Will be happy to purchase these patches!
Nice and reasonably priced too. I've got a Hydrasynth on order, when it arrives I'll be purchasing this collection.
Some very nice patches in that collection. Compliments!
what beautiful sound, beautiful feel, thank you
Amazing demo, loved the string quartette
These sound right up my street - all I need now is a Hydrasynth!
Man, what a great sounding machine. Well done in demonstrating the patches. That synth has a lot of character.

WoW! I’m purchasing tomorrow. Thank you :)
what delightful playing!
That stuff from 1:18 to 2:20 was just Wow!
lost interest in the synth, stayed for your playing. Supertramp, Stevie Wonder...Total Awe! and teasing with it. ;^D

Amazing job ❤️ I'd love to see a making-of about how you created some of these patches someday.
from what I`ve heard from it this Synth seems like a really good `all rounder` with a great layout too
Great playing. Lots of 80s riffs , including some Jarre-like moments in there.
Great patches. That aftertouch is so expressive. I'm going to have to get me one of these at some point.
Wow your jmj sounded great. It all sounds lovely.
Superb sounds - when I get my Hydrasynth in a couple of weeks' time, hopefully, I think I will be knocking on your door for these patches! :)

Move me to tears, a right future sound comes from 80s which died in 90s.
u have a great music taste
I saw many youtubers calling this synth "unashamedly digital". Well... not only that :) It's got some hell of analog filters emulations.
Well that’s still digital but digital is good on its own merits.
