Man, I'm so used to hearing these synth lines in the context of the music I've heard a million times, it's really easy to forget just how god-damn good they sound on their own.
Miraculously, somehow you inherited Ray Charles's glucoma but in your ears. There's nothing analog sounding about this thin man in a trashcan sounding synth. You nutcases who most likely escaped from a looney bin somewhere make the most absurd comments for attention. It would be wise to return to the looney bin where you escaped from and resume medication. Perhaps, the glucoma you inherited from Ray Charles will miraculously spread to your mouth and fingers to finally shut you, an exaggerator, the hell up and prevent you from typing. "The most analog sounding digital." That's nuts!
I have Virus Ti2 and Hydrasynth Deluxe. I like them both for different reason. I do agree the Virus has an overall better sound however I like the Hydra for it's lo-fi dark sounds.
Really great sounds. I have a Hydrasynth Deluxe and am amazed at how classic and analog some of the sounds are. There are some incredible lead, brassy sounds that with the poly aftertouch are just incredible. These sounds are wonderful.
This sound bank is very good and very pleasant to play ! The Hydrasynth perfectly reproduces the warmth and power of analog! for having owned most of these synths and still have some in my possession. I just find it a pity in this excellent patch , to not have recorded "macro" settings for every sounds. All Macro are blank ...
Hi there fantastic set of patches for the amazing Hydrasynth. I've had the Hydrasynth Explorer for a little while and loved it so much that I have just bought the Hydrasynthy Keyboard which arrived today. I also had to order your wonderful set of 80s patches and have just received the Dropbox link, can't wait to put them onto my new Hydraynth Keybaord, fantastic set of sounds and perfect for the sort of music I enjoy creating. Thank you for uploading this excellent set of sounds and decent price for them too. Thanks again.
Me encanta esto definitivamente...tengo problemas para actualizar el firmware del Explorer y soy nuevo en el programa manager ,si consigo todo eso compro al instante, buen trabajo!
Just purchased the pack and played through it on my Hydrasynth Keyboard. The patches sound wonderful! Do you happen to have a list which shows which songs you play (with which patch) in the video? I especially wonder about 03:44, 09:42, 15:35 and 16:02.
I'm having a lot of flip flopping due to trying to figure out what to get. I know the 49 key Hydrasynth has more bells and whistles, but the desktop shares the same synth engine. I've heard that the MicroFreak makes up for the ribbon control and AT to a point. I've been planning on getting a MicroFreak for a while, so it would be nice to get both. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the desktop and 49 key, and would you recommend getting the Hydrasynth desktop and a MicroFreak, or get the 49 key version? I can either get two synths, with some short comings on the Hydrasynth, or get the 49 key version. My budget is about $1100, so I have to buy used. I'm hoping there's a good when I get paid next week. I'm also open to other synths that may be a better option. My production is leaning towards ambient, with a bit of Hip Hop. I currently own a Korg Minilogue XD, and a MPC Live 2. I also have an older Novation Launchkey 49 MK2, and it's pretty basic. I plan on getting the Novation SL 49 sometime down the road. Thanks in advance for your time.
I had a MinilogueXD and loved it but always felt held back by the mini keys. I opted for the Hydrasynth 49 key because I knew I could grow into both the synth engine and the keyboard, which is really good. I wish I could’ve afforded the Deluxe though because the bi-timbrality, but this synth is amazing regardless. You will probably be happy with any iteration of it.
Will all these synths just work in Logic Pro X with any midi usb keyboard? Please advise me. Thanks even older Mac OS ? Please advice what Os mac it supports. Thanks
Bellissimo!! Grazie mille...
If you played an Oberheim but the sounds were the Hydrasynth (no sounds come out of the Oberheim but that is what people see you playing) you would fool them all sir.
I think you may be correct.. But I’d only be convinced if the Hydra synth and the VCO analog synth equivalent were side by side in the same room…. BUT listening on a digital RUclips app it’s impossible to say .
@@prema9878 that’s absolutely correct ….. but all I know is I can play my analog synths for a longer time period than my digital synths before fatigue, boredom and loss of attention sets in …. I’ve no idea why that is .

Man, I'm so used to hearing these synth lines in the context of the music I've heard a million times, it's really easy to forget just how god-damn good they sound on their own.
I hate to say it but this sounds better than alot of modern analog synths.
THIS IS SOO COOL...Im a guitarist.. havent plqyed keys for 30 years since i was young but this Hydrasynth has ingited it in me again
The Hydrasynth is the most analog sounding digital synth I‘ve had. Excellent filters!
The Virus is a great VA synth, better than the Hydrasynth imo just doesn't have wavetables.

Patches sound awesome! Great playing to showcase them too. If I weren't unemployed I'd grab this pack. Nicely done.

this synth sounds insane !
6:06 absolutely magical. Seriously stunning patch sounds better than the original its suppose to be based after I think.
Thanks !
Very nice patches, I'm glad it does analogue well - maybe a purchase of the desktop is in my future. I'll be back for your patches if I do!
how'd it go? you ever get the desktop?

Great job, i know how time consuming this stuff is programming the nuances of analog synths!

The Hydra is not a synth... it's a time machine. 🤓 At 3:44, the first vinyl lp i bought back then... Kim Carnes.
Excellent sounds
LOL 00:00:10 as soon as you hit that second note... CARS.
Yes.
Amazing patch
Superb. Instant buy

Ok, I figured out the first one: Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes
Thank you for your order and feedback
What is the name of the patch starting at 9:41? I have the sound bank but I can't seem to find this patch.
Will these work for the Hydrasynth Explorer too? If not, will a bank be built for that?
Yes are fully available on your hydrasynth explorer
Super Cool 👏

it all depends on if you want to play the hydra with real keys or dont mind the pads honestly
i got the keys and had a mf before, total different playstyle with the mf "keys", not my thing

Why not get the Hydrasynth Explorer? It has Poly AT too
Yes, I too second getting the Hydrasynth Explorer w the Microfreak. Will fit right into your budget!

Amazing patches! Most of them are with WarmMode and AnalogFL turned on right? Those type of demos make me sold on the Hydra :3

50 new patches

This is a sound bank for hydrasynth, you need the hardware synth.
Arturia JUP-8 V - Bass - Dark Drone. Can you recrate that on the hydra synth please!!!

Dear Customer, this is a sound bank demo, I didn't understand your request
It does them all but the soul of the sounds is not there.
What does that even mean Marcel? You're telling me you could blind A/B test this and tell it apart from the genuine articles? Doubt it.
