He has the best interviews ever, his broken English makes it even better lol
Last year he couldn't speak at all, so his progress is kinda amazing :)
@@reganCZyeah, he improved a lot. i like that he is obviously learning.
Same with costa’s tweets
The way he thew him to the ground was so savage
He didn't threw him. Rakic simply fell. 💀💀💀
@@gustavfalke1607 you clearly didn’t watch the fight
Jiri is in the top 5 most exciting fighter right now in UFC roaster . Love to see alex vs jiri 2
Shavkat
Jiri
Justin
Max
Alex
I love this dude…
yep
He seems very nice naturally and doesn't play a persona.
Just cool respectful guy overall
Unlike the Chimaev the creep
Jiri hit em with the "good evening". lol.
😂😂
He wanted to target his targets. 😂 Dudes wild.
Language jokes
He actually said it right in his(czech) language and the only translation is that haha.. I can confirm as Croatian who knows some Czech
Fascinating individual, and so honest and genuinely himself, really refreshing.
Lmao 🤣
Unique way of Jiris talking and analyzing things, love it 😁😁👌
Jiri did well , Rakic humbled. But great fight man
Rakic also did very well. Jiri was just the better man tonight, but Rakic was a savage regardless.
@@marinmarinholaThis fight simply proved that Jiri is the stronger man. Eating those kicks and punches in the first and when he decided to charge forward he rocked him and finished him. BJP 🇨🇿💪
Man i love this dude haha, great fighter and great person. that "force but no power" at the end was deep, that's also a concept in spirituality - power vs force
Absolutely love the mic drop after he realized that statement had the reporters too confused to ask any additional questions.
Yeah, Jiri is deep! He's going through a spiritual awakening whilst kicking the crap out of people, it's an amazing thing to watch... I wish him all the best for continuing on his path
Just his record alone is insane. Like 30-4 with a 97% finish rate is absolutely disgusting.
If you’re a UFC/Fight Fan, watching Jiri really is the absolute pinnacle and it’s not even close.
Not the pinnacle, but he is very fun to watch, extremely dangerous
@@Yung-OhldWho is more exiting to watch then?
@@tonymaccaroni5744 It comes down to personal preference i guess but especially in the lighter divisions you have a bunch of guys. Poirier, Gaethje and Oliveira rarely have boring fights and every Chandler fight was pretty wild so far. Max was always fun to watch. When Costa actually shows up he always brings the heat and currently we have Omalley and Topurier on top of their division.
Jiri has to learn to check those calf kicks
ofc after 15 years of practicing muay thai he hasn´t learnt something as basic as checking kicks. He is so lucky he can read YT comment section and take advice from true experts. I am alredy so sick reading this kinf of absolutely DUMB comments
My current best ufc fighter
Jiri's got a super reckless style, but when it works in his favor, it results in magic. Always a fan-friendly fighter.
New Jiri fan here!! He's spectacular inside the cage and out
I saw in the fight there was like 3 or 4 seconds where I could tell Jiri was considering putting his hands up, LOL.
Yeah, the coach yelled at him: hands up, he didn't listen anyway 😁
Love jiri happy I see him win
2 years without a fight, Rakić showed that he belongs to the very top, congratulations to Jiri, but if they ever fight again, it will be a good fight.
Same as when Jiri fought Alex. Coming of a serious injury and ring rust
Its crazy to me that Blachowicz doesnt get credit for his fights: he won with Adesanya and got close split decision with Pereira, while this dude is smashing everybody.
Jan is a freak of nature dude is 40 fighting toe to toe with Poatan and that scary Dagestani ancholov
I think he get's a lot of credit but he's injured out with shoulder surgery or else his name would still be in the mix for sure
He turned into grappler for alex fight. Wrong decision
And then Jiri realize he starts winning when he just eat punches and charge forward, some people are just meant for violence 😂
I said, give him the rematch if Alex beats him the Alex go up for the interim heavyweight belt or go ahead and give it to him because I believe Alex deserves it. Look what he’s done in a short time but if he hast to fight one more time, give him the rematch because jiri did rock him multiple times. And not many people have ever done that.
Thank you for giving me the idea, i will do that -- had me rolling😊
i love to watch jiri fight one of the best to ever do it
Congratulations 🎉 Amazing work 💪💯💪💯
0:20 respect for that
Jiri right to milk the rip off of the early stoppage. Herb got it done... wait... wait... boom, now he's gone... the initial strike that felled him... he's recovered... and now he's definitely gone.
Jiri looked magnificent, he looks magnificent. UFC need to stop dicking around dissing him. Even the UFC needs some beauty. Masculine, brave beauty.
Jiri is on a mission to Self Mastery! I have so much respect for the guy
Dudes a maniac. He should be in a title eliminator next.
lmao for reals, he was trying to explain his perspective in a spiritual way. It was weird
@@em34ev3rthat’s how he always is
bro he just cannot express in english like he could in czech language, but he improved a lot 👍👍
This guy is awesome
Jiri should now fight ANKALAEV and then whoever wins goes and fights for the belt against HILL OR PEREIRA
nah - Jiri had his shot for tittle and lost it , so he had to win one match (this one) so he can now have a chance again for a tittle - not mentioning he was already a champ
but Ankalaev had his chance for a tittle - it was draw and did he fought since then ? i think he needs one more win for a shot - and it would be nice chance for Hill to bounce back too.
@@doposud The draw with Blachowicz was controversial and Ankalaev went on to beat Johnny Walker convincingly after the Abu Dhabi debacle. With Pereira possibly being busy at heavyweight, Procházka vs. Ankalaev makes total sense as a title eliminator or even an interim championship fight.
He’s quickly become my favorite fighter
2:01 lol
7:50 loooool
10:41 fyggg
12:05 you killed the guy witjh your words man
I wish more people were like Jiri P. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Well spoken English by Jiri.🙏🏼👍🏻
Great improvement!
Hill vs Blachowicz next. Prochazka vs Anakalev. Pereira vs Adesanya.
Adesanya is never fighting Pereira again especially at LHW. he will hold on to that victory forever (he is literally have become I beat that guy one time). It should be Prochazka vs Anakalev and Pereira should fight the winner of that.
@@JsS-dg6qqThat's true, adesanya defeated Alex just once .
Jiri the man
Poatan is starting to emerge as a counter puncher. It helps if the other guy is the aggressor, or the fight gets past the first round. The counter puncher who waits... tedious but effective. Getting to be a hard mountain to climb. Just wait. Then backed up with beautiful technique and power.
I’m not really sure about that. He pressed Jamahal against the cage and just slept him. He pressed Izzy up against the cage in the first UFC fight and got the finish. He did the same in the second and was aggressing and chasing a finish until he himself got countered. Against Strickland, Sean didn’t even throw enough for Alex to counter anything. Alex set him up with jabs to the body. I don’t really remember the Jan fight, but it seems that Jiri was the only guy where he was a counter striker, and that’s because Jiri is a madman who pushed forward the whole time. He may be a counter puncher, but no one aggresses him enough for him to counter. He ends up stalking people most of the time and setting things up himself imo
@@eoghain5021 "Becoming" a counter puncher. You've ignored why I'm saying it, which means I'll repeat it. Guys are determined to be the aggressor against him, wanting to push him back, Adesanya of course, who has had the most success to date, didn't bother, Alex was the aggressor, in both of their fights, but he was wide open for the counter in both fights.
The Jan fight... Alex scraped through. 3rd round, when Jan knew he had the 1st, lost the second, had to up his aggression, walked Alex back with some success. He was so gassed, though, whether he had more and would have ended up flatlined with more aggression... he ate Alex's shots and wasn't wobbled once - cheekbone versus chin, we don't know. Elevation should never play a part in title contention fights. And they should be five rounds.
Jamahal appeared to want to be the aggressor, too. Fight over before anyone can know for sure what strategy he intended to use, good or bad. Or was going backward what Jamahal was going to intend? Adesanya had been chatting with him.
Bruno Silva got aggressive, walking forward Alex for the most part, and got a tonne of good shots on him, was always dangerous, would walk him back with those shots... Alex would get out of trouble as the counter puncher... more or less. It was a messy fight.
My point was that is where Alex is ending up... whether by choice? Or guys won't stop deciding the best way to beat him is to walk him back. Strickland was the fight that showed, no... he's just as dangerous going backwards.
When someone is being the aggressor, he is passive. He becomes the counter puncher.
I don't like it because it's boring, so I'm hoping he doesn't become the conservative champion who doesn't want to risk anything anymore. It's effective but not interesting.
@@eoghain5021 Because I'm just spitballing, claiming no definitives here... I just watched Luke Thomas's breakdown of how Pereira set up the KO, why it was so effortless. Worth watching. Layers to Alex's game, so even if it appears he's not being aggressive... he's pulling all the strings.
He says this after every fight then goes and checks punches with his face
what a freaking character he is
What video are they talking about? Jiri was outside the arena before the event doing a ritual???
This guy has a chin of steel because the whole time I was watching his fight I was expecting him to get slept at any moment
8:59 thats sound very savage😢
6:12 The scariest face ever.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was so happy when jiri won
Jiri cant put those hands up to save his fkn life.😁 Since he was like 16 he trained himself to eat them left to right. His trainings where he simply let HW fighters tag him to toughen up are legendary. Now when he tries to put his hands up, his brain doesnt get the memo😁
Engagement comment
They were sleeping on you jiri!!!! 💪💪💪
My favorite autist 🤝🏽
Rakic had very good strategy and then he stopped using it, idk why he stopped using these calf kicks. I'm glad he got beaten good, cause finaly he will learn from it and come way stronger
Means you watch fights without understanding them. He stopped because if Jiri's overwhelming pressure.
Yeah, getting punched in the face an awful lot has a way of messing with you implementing your strategy.
@@claudemakelele2856 Not true rly...he stoped using calf kicks way before Jiri become more agressive
@@GG_WP.13 except Jiri is always aggressive and marching forward from the start.
@@claudemakelele2856 Well i think you are the one who didn't rly watch the fight...First you said that Rakic stoped his strategy cause of pressure..how he managed to do so many calf kicks at begining if Jiri was agressive whole time? 😂😂 You don't think much, do you?
rakic is a beast tho. him v hill will be ill
Good evening, hello Jiri, HELLOOO !!!!! 😂😂👊👊👊
Cant believe he didnt get 300k
He did get the 300k
Congrats on the win but Rakic was beating him up untill
That one punch
🐐🐐🐐😂😂😂
If that was on the streets jiri would of ended him easily
Aleks je ,Srbin i to velik big men
Lmao people still falling for yen samurai gimmick is hilarious 😂 exciting fighter tho , definitely was overshadowed by the Max KO
Not sure you understand the term gimmick
your black so you feel the need to hate on him, just admit it
Jiri’s style is objectively bad😂. The only reason it works is giant insane toughness and willpower
Style are made to be effective, if it work for him, his style is great. And to be honest, toughness and willpower don't do spinning elbow or submit a black belt like Glover, poor comment.
He's 3 and 4 in the UFC. Only lost against one of the best kickboxers ever in UFC history. In his 3 wins, he finished all of his fights. He has one of the highest finishing rates in MMA history. Everyone has holes in their game.
Bruce Lee: Best style is no style !
His style would be bad if his stats would be bad ....
Dude had 97% finish ratio just few fights back and to comment that is objectivly bad .... is just stupid
If your defence to low kicks is non existent and your defence to head strikes is to eat them clean then that’s a pretty bad style. He’s on the express train to CTE
Bla bla
FU
Incredible performance
