Me too. Shavkat didnt look great against Neal and struggled to get Wonderboy down. Then who is left? Garry and JDM neither are ready for Leon JDM was losing easily until that knee landed and Ian looked mediocre vs Neal. I think he defends a couple more and Islam moves up and then he goes for 185 after that fight which I think he wins.

I remember many interviews before the belt they had the same rapport. And in the lead up to the first fight with Kamaru Usman who as at the time the pound for pound king, Ariel told Leon he would be champion at the end of every interview and Leon would guarantee it right back. It’s a beautiful thing to see how far Leon has gone, and that he still comes back to give an interview to Ariel since he always had his back. 👍🏽

Leon against Colby was the most professional and calculated performance I’ve seen in the UFC for a long long time.

As a uk fan the event being in the middle of the night is fine to me. It’s no different from any other event. Travelling up Saturday Making a night of it and travelling back down at 7am no hotel needed 🤣

People don't understand how good Leon actually is. Because of the altitude performance people forget that he took down and mounted Usman is round 1amd it wasn't a fluke. Gunnar Nelson not the biggest name but Leon out grappling him for 3 rounds was very impressive. Gunnar was well known for his grappling

I was at UFC204, still have my ticket - me and my friend went up from Swansea to Manchester, we got out the arena at like 7AM, we waited for the next train back down to Wales :D
I've been trying to get a ticket for UK events since UFC204, unable to. Me and my friend had to sit at opposite ends of the arena on that night just to be able to get a good ticket (£120) I cannot wait for UFC304, but if I cannot get a ticket this time i'll be writing to Dana personally! :D

Leon cannot sell PPVs. This is why Dana scheduled the fight at 5AM local time in UK. Now at least they will sell like 200 PPVs. If no, they would have sold 50.

UFC didnt want Leon on the 300 card. They only offered Leon to 3 Muslims who everyone knew wouldn't fight during Ramadan to help meet their contractual obligations of offering X number of fights to everyone on the roster. Belal made it clear that he would fight for the title even during Ramadan.
but you can't put belal vs leon as the main event of a big event like that, so they had to call other big names who will make a more interesting main event with leon for that card.
@Youssef-hd5bl they didn't want Leon period on UFC 300. Like I said the 3 names they offered were never going to fight on UFC 300 regardless. These were 3 hand-picked offers to prevent Leon from fighting at 300. Has nothing to do with Belal.
