This is a great solo game. I usually end up scoring about the same as you did, but I just enjoy working through all the cards. I have both the old version of this game & the new one. Everything is the same, except the old version has a colored boarder around the entire care instead of just the bottom. And the score sheet has the colors instead of just the symbols. So if you were thinking of playing with multiple people, I would suggest looking for the old version. The cover is a scene of people birdwatching in all the different habitats. Or maybe try coloring in the sides of the score sheet? I've only played it multi player once, mostly it is a relaxing solo game for me.

I wonder why they changed the score sheet - the old version definitely sounds easier to use! It's definitely a great solo game! 😊

@@bitsandbiology no idea. I know that it's a different company, so maybe they needed to? But it's not a great change.

Love love love the Hummingbird tangent :) lovely game. Need to play solo again. The app was sent to Kickstarter backers with a code and then deleted off of the store RIP

So glad you enjoyed it! I have to admit I was a little shocked about how much of a tangent I went on!😂
It's too bad about the app, I imagine it was quite helpful for the multiplayer game. I'm happy it's a good solo game. 🙂

I played this with three or four other people and it was OK, not great, I'd say 6/10. It's a card game so I don't mind bringing it to one of the socials in the New York City parks because I won't cry if something in the game gets damaged or lost. The score pad is slightly fiddly in that I wish the symbols on the cards were bigger so that it would be more easy to match them to the score pad

I agree about the multiplayer game, I definitely prefer playing it solo.
Playing cards in the park sounds lovely! ❤
