- Eyyy another video on Avatar, this one took way longer for some reason... But as you probs know. The Creators left the project, this is cause for panic. So I made a video that is just things Netflix should and shouldn't do for their live-action remake of the show. Enjoy :)

Your Second point is so very strong man. Thats what is so great about the tight writing of it. But for the netflix show its not gonna have that luxury. Its got a way finer line between camp and horrible moments like "bring me your elderly" type situations to deal with

Netflix needs to make sure that the storyline is thought out and not a copy and past
My fear that they are gonna just be hap hazzadly choosing arcs to adapt and make season 1 that’s 20 eps just shorter. Jeremy Zuckerman Is the heart of the show.

Very very true, the sad thing is about avatar series’ are that we never get to see the result of the shows. Still would love to explore more of the world of ATLA and korra. Both protagonists have so much room for more stories I bet.
Rewriting the first season a little is probably necessary. It was still great, but it had a distinct lack of water bending, the gang did not seem focused on their goal of getting to the North Pole and there were those less important episodes.
I Agree so hard with this comment, I think we are gonna get an ATLA movie scenario if they arent careful. Season 1 is great! but its tone is so different from the rest of the show

I really hope that they do not make love triangles. Or change the Sexual Orientation or Gender of Characters. If Zuko or Sokka end up being girls, imma lose it. I have nothing against genderbender but some things need to stay the same. Maybe a bit hypercritical but it’s just the way I feel
Basically that mentality with anything, don’t just change stuff because you can I reckon. My big fear isn’t really gender swapping but more so character traits just being dropped or simplified.

Honestly all I want is the comic about zuko searching for his mother with the gaang made into an animated series. I really don't care at all about a live action version. Feels like a money grab :(
That comic run and the few surrounding it were OUTSTANDING! really enjoyed those. The new animated stuff for paramount+ should be good however

I had like 69, nice. Also, I think that it would be cool to add more to the worldbuilding of the series (without redconning the already existing stuff ofc) and just explore the effects of war a little more. This netflix adaptation makes room for the exploration of darker themes and I think it would be cool to use that.
100% mate, having hour long episodes and proper budget could really show the darker parts of the world that dont really fit in a 22min cartoon on nick.

@BL The action and effects are awesome but the story is the only thing I don’t like. Though, not sure if they’ll do a new series with a new avatar 🤔
New korra comics are coming out, and potentially after all the hype with this show it could spark you enough interest to have a sequel series
