I ended up abandoning that pattern. The shoulders looked funny and I was it enjoying the way the pattern was written and constructed. I’m doing Floof by skiendeer knits now and it’s so much better 😍

Will you have higher temperatures and more consistent sunshine than us though? I’d rather have a smaller but more reliable season. Sometimes we put in our tomatoes in early April and still don’t get any to pick till mid July! Mind you it is nice to be able to spread out the work xxx
@@talesfromcuckooland The temperature will go up eventually and we will have 17 hours of daylight with big blue skies. By the end of May we can safely plant in the ground. It makes us all a little plant crazy! :)

I’ve been dallying over painting our downstairs loo…hopefully you’ll inspire me with that as well as everything else. Can’t wait for the April vlogs ❤ Last year I visited the Alhampton, Somerset, open gardens and looked around Charles Dowding’s ‘no dig’ garden - mainly vegetables but a principle that seems to allow you to spend more time enjoying the garden 👍 I don’t know how you find the time to knit and sew as much as you do - I’m on ‘sleeve island’ at the moment and resisting the urge to cast on something else 😂
I live so close to Alhampton, I should get myself down there. Are you local? I’m still painting a lot. There’s been quite a bit to get done but it’s looking so good now. I wish I had more time to knit but maybe if I did I would tire of it. I think it looks like I knit more than I do, that’s the nature of edited videos. I did a round up of unfinished projects hiding around the family room, have been purging and rearranging rooms preparing for window replacements, starting yard and garden work, brooding 6 chicks in my bathroom, and trying to strike some balance in my life! Not much snow but it seems time is flying while it has simultaneously been a long slog of a winter. There is a glitch in the matrix.

You are one of my fave podcasters and I am definitely staying with you. So sorry I am not able to do your patreon but when I am able you will be my first choice. I wear my half and half as a shawl and hold it together in the front with a hand crafted, hammered silver pin whose head is shaped like a bolt of lightening. ( I purchased in Uruguay) years ago. The pin is very long - not to be worn at the airport😜 It does the job of holding the shawl together, I have had many compliments wearing the wrap this way. Hope you find a favorite way of wearing yours!

Hello Gayna. You know it’s funny that I found you on RUclips years ago because of a gardening segment you did. It was greenhouse segment if I remember correctly. I too get out there begrudgingly so that I can literally reap what I sow. Sticking around. Didn’t leave your channel. I just had a different handle. Had to change a little bit ago. BTW I love the shawl. Color and all.
Begrudging is a good word. Once I’m out there I poddle along ok but it’s not my favourite 🤪

I wear my half and half as a shawl and hold it together in the front with a hand crafted, hammered silver pin whose head is shaped like a bolt of lightening. ( I purchased in Uruguay) years ago.
The pin is very long - not to be worn at the airport😜
It does the job of holding the shawl together, I have had many compliments wearing the wrap this way.
Hope you find a favorite way of wearing yours!
