    Thanks for this video. It got me started. I taped the plug side of the cable to a long stick. After pulling the panel piece back, I had a light shining from the bottom floorboard. Then I just stabbed right down there. I ran my cable from the back of the floorboard as opposed to the front.

    This is much more difficult than this video made it seem lol. Best advice is to tie zip ties to your microphone so it has more rigidity nears the end. I would say at least for the first 18 inches of the mic near the input, use zip ties and it'll make it easier to guide through the tunnel.

    I installed basically the same stereo from Crutchfield in my base model 2011. I assume that the mic right next to where’s your mounting yours is for the OnStar service. I have no idea why the wiring harness couldn’t include that mic, but Crutchfield said it can’t. I was wondering if you thought about splicing into it, if it’s possible. I’m thinking about giving it a shot.

      To be honest, I'm not sure. I just didn't to cut anything in the event I want to return everything back to stock.
