One of my favorite albums of all time. "It's a wonderful world, a world of wonder. I thunder. I thunder, I won't go under."
Livin Proof is a masterpiece
Lol Dap was the first "Lil" Actual Facts.
🤔 ... you have right. How about Lil Fame, I have listened his stuff from 1992
Lil Shawn
Not true. Lil Rodney C was way before him
I would honestly put Livin Proof at the same level as The Infamous by Mobb Deep...except Dap and Melachi's expression of ghetto life as teens was more honest, and of course Premier's production perfectly complimented those rhymes.
KardiFan2000 I disagree respectfully. Although it was a DOPE album, it wasn't a classic.
midnightspud Word. Some people are afraid to listen to albums/songs objectively and form their own opinion.
I agree , They classics .. but Mobb Deep were more talented with Havoc (making beats as well & rhyming) with more complex lyrics ..
midnightspud Word , Havoc & Prodigy Was In They Bag 💯
There's no doubt that Hav and P are better lyricists than Dap and Mel. But the thing that puts Livin Proof on the same plain as The Infamous for me is the honesty/consciousness in Group Home's lyrics, whereas Mobb were promoting the NY gangsta lifestyle.
Lil Dap had the unique voice & flow. Melachi was always like the live one out the crew. Watch the Supastar Melachi was goin so hard!!! #classic
Hhahahha Lil dap is hilarious.. I hope whatever Melachi is suffering from that he gets better inshallah.
Stones Jones That's why they call him The ....
Nevermind, it was just different back than. You don't get it.
Leon Brown what are you referring to?
@@Stoney-Jacksman they were called "group home" for a reason my guy
I guess the stumbling came from him being a boxer for a while. Not even Mohammed Ali was immune.
Lil dap's voice was ahead of it's time...
Suspended in time realest song on there album
Lil dap has dropped so many jewels for me. 🙏🏼
I still listen to that album til this day on a CD player in my truck.
Legends! Timeless lp too
I didn’t know Dave Chapelle was in Group Home
I bought that Album 3 times (loved it that much)
You also lost it 2 times
I bought it once on Tape and the other time on CD
Album i still own up 2 this day and they're recently new gem is 🔥 too Bk all day legends here salute to Lil dap and Melachai the Nutcracker....
Dap’s right saying that Living Proof is a “Classic” for a reason. Like I said, this album is that huge along with Epmd, 2Pac, BIG, Big Daddy Kane, Big L, Nas, Geto Boys, Gang Starr, MOP, AZ, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Too short, Spice 1, wu-tang, RIF, the list can go on.
I looooove Melachi The Nutcracker. God bless them.
One of my top 10 album's. The beats would knock so soo hard in my system. Even if you factory radio, it would make it sound like you had a system in your car.😎
My G's
Groupe legendaire!!!!
This album is possibly one of the best produced albums of all time along with the purple tape and it takes a nation of millions to hold us back. Had the lyricism been a little better this might have been a 5 mic album.
Legendary
Dap was the first with Lil real talk 💯
I found out about these guys a couple weeks ago and im listening to them everyday since. 🔥🔥🔥
Malachi much Love fam!!! Yo Dap peace to y’all brothaz

@@williamroberson40 yo.. tell your brother that cats in London are still spitting his bars with real love. Always salute the Group Home. Peace!
Why you never see Lil Dap and Dave Chappelle in the same room?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dave Chappell could have totally did a Group Home skit…with Charlie Murphy as Big Shug
Yo, what's going on with Melachi the Nutcracker? Is he alright he just kept shaking, his head kept shaking and his words sounds a little slurry.
MR_J yea whats up
Why you think he’s called the nutcracka? Dude has got a fucking screw loose lol
It looks like he might've smoked a few too many dust blunts
MR_J Nothing.
The brother been crazy.
The 80's to be exact.
"Nutcracker" get it?
He's beyond a nut.
I believe its from drug abuse
LIL DAP!!!
Livin Proof is that shit.
Fuck yeah lil dap got the charisma. They all good though! AAAAAand first lil was lil TROY, and he took from another, lil dap is like the third or 4th but quality baby he got it!

I actually know the nutcracker from the hood on Andrews Ave true story
Where Mel at? We lost touch!
These dudes looking rough. I saw them with a live band here in Chicago a few years ago, but I was not that close to the stage
alguém legenda por favor
Don't forget guru and jaz o helped out too
Primo last classic lp 95
Smokin rock
Nutcracker look like he got some mental health issues going on smh
we all do. Father Time is undefeated.
Superstar was an all time Classic. I always felt lil dap held Nutcracker back. The the song Superstar only daps resorts to the N word. Showing Melachi had true talent but now he sounds all drugged out.
Malachi held Lil Dap back you mean. Lil Dap was great, melachi was whack
Mel looks troubled. I pray he finds his way
Demons
😅
Lil
“Classic album” You guys need to stop being revisionist, their debut album was subpar - enough already.
Hanif Barnwell Nah you’re wrong on this one dog, to a lot of people (myself included) the album is seminal and meaningful. Those songs hit hard, even though Dap and Mal’s rhymes were definitely not on par with the beats Primo laid down. Me and the brothers I hung with used to bump Living Proof heavy and to us and many others it most definitely IS a classic.
@@neffone77 good album with a few classic songs is more like it. I love both Dap and Malichi's voices but neither of them ever made you hit rewind. Dap could ride a beat well but his shit was hat-cat-bat- like dat....still is. Nutcracker was funny but honestly had some of the most.....sigh...rhymes ever. Let's not put this album up there with Infamous or Dah Shining just because we played it a lot. A good album played frequently during a classic time doesn't make a classic album. Discernment is key, friend.
Wow. This makes me so sad.
explain
deeinfinite Dap is hammered drunk
😅
