I tend to not use to many products on my 4c gray hair because it just seems to get gunked up and I don't like that. I use Carol Daughter"s Coco Creme Shampoo and conditioner and deep moisture mask ( I use the mask every two weeks) . It seems to be the only products that give me the shine that I like for my hair. The other product that I use everyday and very little is Pro-Line, Comb Thru Lite Creme Moisturizer. Once a month a use a heating cap and saturate my hair with Queen Helene Cholesterol and deep condition for 20 minutes.
Hi there Thank you 😀 Very well explained and informative . I have transformed to fully grey salt and pepper after years of colouring and relaxing and I LOVE IT , lots of compliments from women who are scared to go all the way. I must say its not been an easy journey product wise trying to keep it moisturized it was so dry and brittle and a lot of money spent on products trying to find the right one. I too use the shea moisture products and they are fabulous, But the game changer for me was adding a little Aloe Vera oil to my leave in conditioners , it leaves the my hair hydrated for days. Your hair is gorgeous Blessings Sis x
I was just telling my friend this morning that I saw a video saying to use purple shampoo. I'll share this video with her as well. I love your disclaimer!
Thank you for this video. As a grey haired beauty I am so happy I found your channel. I would love a video on how you made your hair serum! Thanks again for this video!
For when I first start really taking care of my grey hair.Spent tons of money on products hundreds of dollars. Now truly know what my hair like use purple shampoo sometimes. Lately I’ve been using Avenoo Apple vinegar shampoo blend mix . My hair seems too love it very moisturizing and my white strands look flawless. I deep conditioning with several things truly like Camille rose products. The go to for oils is Rosemary and mint also like Jamaica black castor oil.
I love your voice woman. Thank you for sharing the products. Looking forward to a video of how you use the products, if you don’t mind. I’m considering doing a big chop (again 🤦🏾♀️) I think relaxing my hair was a bad idea, but it seemed like a good idea when I was doing it. This must be a mid life crisis. 🤭
Girl, you better make a video about your big chop! That is MUST SEE TV 👀 But I'll definitely be doing a 'How to' - Wash n Go video very soon. And honey, don't get me started about my love/hate relationship with relaxer. Glad we FINALLY broke up 😆
@@thenewnarrativewithsylvie I am considering recording it and just speaking on my struggle with alopecia. I should not have relaxed y hair. I certainly learned my lesson this time and it will be the last time I relax my hair. I'm happy you were set free from the creamy crack. lol CAn't wait to see your video.
Loving your videos. I've been wearing a short cut since 2004 and loving my silver color now. I currently use some of the same products that you use and would love for you to do a video on how you make your hair serum and even the lip gloss.
Thank you so very much for this great product video!! I loved it!!! And, I will definitely be picking up that Shea Moisture Duo! I didn't know Shea Moisture was out here doing all that!!! Plus, that Olive Oil Finishing Sheen?!! I haven't thought about a finishing sheen since my relaxed, black, pixie cut..which made it shine! Ump. I can't think about it too much. I miss it. 😥. LoL! You and I have the same type hair. I hope that when I have as much gray as you, I look as pretty as you do! 😍. Thanks again Sis!!!
Glad you found it helpful! That creamy crack though -- definitely addicting 😩and took me awhile to break free 😆 Honestly though, when you've got the products that work for you, going grey is a breeze. Yes honey, I'm the Sheen Queen!! ✊🏾🧑🏾🦳
I love listening to you! If my gray would just cooperate though lol...years of dying has made me self conscious about the transition phase...but you're giving me courage ❤ I follow Naturally Graysful and will definitely check out the other influencer mentioned. I see some sponsors in your future 🔮...IJS 😏
Hello Sylvie...One of your Newest 1000 Subscribers! LOVE ❤❤❤your Channel! I just stumbled upon it as I am just starting MY Gray Hair Journey! Could you please share your 'recipe' for creating your HAIR SERUM please? Great Job on your Videos! Just watched 4 of your Vids! Knew that you had excellent acting chops from your !st Vid I watched which was your 'No More Dye' Vid......excellent!
Hello Sylvia I always had gray hair From 12yrs it was redish with gold streaks when i saw the light it turn silver platinum gray. It's natural wavy curly kinky..I began to lose long strain of hair. When using. Shae butter white color 😢turn my ends now it's about 4 inches from scalp..I stop using Shae over 5yrs.what do you suggest
Hi I just came across your RUclips. I'm a new subscriber. I also have black and grey hair. I use Donna's Recipe by Tabatha Brown. Do you know who her? If not, maybe you can look her up. And she might sponsor you. Lastly does your hair have a name? Tab says everyone needs a name. 😃
Can your products be used with permed gray hair? I am natural (20 years) but thinking of getting a perm for a softer look (short pixie cut - salt and pepper)
From what I've read on the purple shampoo products, It states only that it's ok good for use on gray, bleached, frosted and blonde-tinted hair. It makes no mention of permed or relaxed hair.
Thank you for this video. I came to find out why people use the purple shampoo. I am curious, maybe you said it and I missed it, how many times do you wash your hair in a week? Thanks.
Hi! Once a week should do it. Some purple shampoos are more pigmented than others, so you want to avoid actually tinting your hair or making your grey/silver hair appear darker.
Hello Sylvie..Greetings! I would love to get your take on 2 'silver fox' hair styles that I am considering. I tried to include the image links in the body of my comment but YT keeps deleting this comment. I was wondering how I can share the hair styles' images with you. The 1st hair style has braids on the top and the edges of the lady shows a very uniform gray...was not sure if this was because of a gray hair color and so wanted your take on this. The 2nd hair style is an 'up do' with a 'pineapple' style top bun that looks like 'dreads' or 'locs'. Also wanted your take on how this might have been achieved. Please let me know HOW to successfully send you these images. Thanks A Bunch!
Y’all I’ve been gray since 15.. people used to say it was wisdom.. but it meant my iron was low. I’ve always used rinse on my hair. But now it won’t take..
I usedthe purple that you use but hair is brittle dry yet .moist..my hair eats up products..don't want a perm. Just to leave on. Ten 15 .minutes scalp burns. No matter...thanking about dread locks.
We need more gray hair tips and this is great! With gray hair it’s a lot of trial and error. Thank you. 😊

Hi, have you tried the purple Olaplex line?
The salon I went to used to use Olaplex for my hair (before I was gray). Didn't know they had a purple shampoo! I'll look into it!
