I think people come into your life at a specific time for a specific reason. I met Najwa on Instagram after reading her first collection of poems and I was so drawn to her words. I read the passages over and over and took notes in the margin. I honestly felt like she was talking right to me. When I was actually able to contact Najwa, I truly felt so blessed because I was able to talk directly to this person that seemed to understand me so well. Her words have gotten me through some difficult times in my life. When I first launched my RUclips channel I was so excited to bring Najwa onto the platform so I could share with all of you what has meant so much to me. This video is so important to me and I hope you watch it and feel understood - the way I did when I first discovered who Najwa was.

I think it's so interesting with social media and the mental health issues we face with it. I think we never had the tools in our society to battle mental health issues and that's why it's becoming such a big thing with self love. I think it's great that we talk more about it each day, it is so needed!
