He chiseled out a hole in his guitar and installed a bass pickup below the lower strings and ran it to 2 different amps allowing him to play guitar and bass at the same time. Very clever. I used to play in a cover band that did this song.😆
I literally just went to see Local H live tonight in Toronto and I had no idea that's how he gets such a huge bass tone out of only playing a guitar. As a guitarist myself it was actually really cool to witness.

Im sure the explosive popularity of Pearl Jam during the 80`s prompted him to use the line if I were Eddie Vedder would you like me even better,was actually a compliment rather than an insult!Eddie has one of the toughest voices in music,my personal opinion.Up there with greats like Jim morrison ETC.

I got into Local H because of this song. Then I became a fan and own all their albums. Could be the most underrated band in history.
