There r no misconceptions. Everything youve heard is true.ive first hand experience n the only thing i can tell u is not join as a nco. If you have any specific questions id love to answer those
@@jacobjackson8619 suppose if someone joins as an nco but he wants to pursue graduation for example ACC, then opportunities he'll be getting if he has the capability to become an officer like SCO, PCsl ....so will it be worth ?? joining as a soldier
no misconection there life is like a nisery and all nco live like a slave to these puppets co , majors and buddy culture, they just have to say OK SIR all the time
@@manishsharma-fz6sb as i said its not a misconception, its true. take it from my personal experience. tho i feel tht it is necessary to an extent since if they cant do whatever they r told in peacetime, they probably wont do what theyre told during a war
@@sagnikduttaroy7212 if you can, prefer direct officer entry before ACC since u hv to wait 2 or 4 years before you can attempting ACC iirc. and those years will be probably be hell. even then ur ACC is bot guaranteed, u might be stuck
soo dont go for nco unless you have no other better options
but if you r confident tht ull get through ACC in ur first attemp then sure go ahead. ull become officer slightly too late but ok.

answer is very simple and short,you hv to b in the good books of your senior,,,,it doesn't matter how capable and efficient you are,,,a,,,there are still many officers in army navy airforce who didn't do staff College but they are admirals and generals,,,services are not different from corporate world ,here also if you are liked by your seniors you will pick up the rank,
