- Recently a scam in one of the SSB centers, SSB Kapurthala, was exposed. After a lot of requests from candidates for my views, I decided to make a video on this topic and clear things up.

Many repeaters know Nd they see cases of high rank officer's wards getting recommended but they can't report to anyone coz until and unless you are part of system you can't nab the culprits. SELECTION SYSTEM SHOULD BE CRYSTAL CLEAR FOR EVERYONE NO MATTER WHAT THE BACKGROUND IS.

The irony is I went to 31 SSB and was conference out as a border line case... Only one was selected and he was a son of a Maj Gen serving in Chandimandir.... This makes me feel sad.... It maybe the case that the guy was Very capable but I can't ignore that the possibility of those officers being partial with his assessment. I could have been recommended, and at the time of announcement of result, they told us that there were few borderline cases and I waited for literally more than 30 mins to be called in for the conference.... I really feel sad... It has been 2 months now.... System is to be blamed for sure.... Destroying ambitions of 1000s of aspirants like me 😔😔

I attended ssb for TGS but rejected later my distant relative who's serving in airforce told me that family recommendations are given much importance he himself got help because his father was in airforce.
That was really shocking and disheartening .

Guys i went to TGC 138 recently and from the recommendations, one was a son of a serving colonel in the army. He didn't even perform the GTO tasks and still was recommended. I might be too quick to judge the selection system, but this is what I saw myself. This does put a doubt in our minds about the selection system
SSB is not foolproof. I advise all aspirants to focus on self-improvement to get selected & not waste energy on as to why or how some undeserving person got selected. It makes sense to have faith in the system.

They won't give it bcz even they don't have a solid reason...they just want to make their job of selecting easy thats why they wipe out people on the very first day...they don't really want to get a cream talented person...they just want a young,fresher....they dont want a repeator who has an experience...who is even young...who is even more better than freshers...they just think repeators are just a waste...people who have an army background...secretly they do these things that we innocent people don't want to blv...bcz we have faith that they are pure...pious...but thats just a fraud...i was a person who was immensely in belief that they are honrst true and fair...i feel i m deceived by my own dreams...thats why in the name of self introspection they just make us blv that everything is fair but deep inside something else is going on...they just make us believe that problem is with us...just one question i have...if a person is once recommended and after 4 months he again goes for ssb and he is screened out...what changed in that person so early...he became a new persom?...a person who got merit out gets screened out...how come a person's personality changed so early?...and if this is their thought that personalities change...then whats the gurantee that the selected person will remain so during whole procedure,training etc??...baseless
@@sneharaghav9363 oh you have a point there. But I think luck factor should also be included in this. Maybe he was not able to perform better this time in the screening or it also depends on your group maybe this time the people in your group are much better and the assessor found them more interesting than you as because assessor is also changed this time, so the way previous assessor thought about you has also changed. Many factors maybe responsible for this, but in either case you have a valid point that a person's personality is mutable. Although I personally think that Luck is a game changer which depends on your performance and the performance of the persons in your group. Since they are human they might do mistakes too nobody can deny that an army officer or an assessor is never wrong, they can be they are human so if they are human some of them might be corrupt too. Can anyone give it in paper that this thing will never be repeated?

Leave 21 attempts...in 22nd attempt he was rekected...how come he changed in 23rd attempt...and what was the gurantee he won't chamge after he got selected?...how this process is even fair...😒 And above all at least we deserve to know why we got out...after all our hardwork...that u fail to recognise...after all sacrifices and keen passion of us...we don't even get to know the rsn bcz they don't have it...how can a person judge my entire personaloty and my life in just 10 mins...how come?

Jo naye aspirants aate hai wo ye saari cheeze dekhkar bot demotivate hote hai that is the hard work worth it if I am anyways not going to get recommended but hope hai bhai jo lagi rehti hai ke "what if" yehi hai bhai jo bolta hai ke jaakr dekho.. Mera ek friend hai wo 21 baar reject hua hai.. Uska pain bhi mujhse nahi dekha jata, wo bhi bolta hai uski family usy kosti hai that he is good for nothing tab bhi wo fir se tyari kar raha hai. I will say only one thing ke lage raho jab tak age hai "what if" kisi din the stars align perfectly in getting you recommended. Baaki jo andar hota hai.. Wo hmare haath me nahi hai. Unfortunately 😞.
When it comes to money thing, other assessors can be influenced.
So this system needs some amendments and be answerable to cross checks.

I don't know whether I should tell it here or not but it's the reality
Last year when I got refer for medical point, the NA was openly asking for bribe to clear the points (15k to 30k ₹)
And one of my friends told me that the medical officer (major rank) directly asked him for 10k.
And during that week I had seen the unexpected and worst side of Army.
That was literally very hard for me to digest and go through all that.
After all that I can say Army is no different from other govt offices.
Even more corrupt in some criterias.
Apart from it there are some good persons whom I will never going to forget thay guided me through the darkness and yes ofcourse they too are in services.

@Bharat Every single system in the world has flaws and just by having a few cases, you can't say that the whole ssb procedure is corrupt. Everyone has their own views, whether you agree or don't agree with them. His point was, you should do what is in your hand. All depends how you apprehend his views. And last thing, he doesn't care if you subscribe or unsubscribe his channel but believe me, loss will be yours 😉

he is telling you the bitter truth its a fact you cannot do anything about this because defence matters rarely come out in public and this scam is not even the tip of the ice berg.

the only problem is ownership at higher brass level. In 2016, it was proved that scam happened in ssb selection of DG's(recruitment)son when challenged by GTO Allahabad SSB . but no action was taken against him

when i had gone to bangalore to attend ssb interview in year 2015 a candidate whose maternal uncle was lt general at army headquarter got selected only on sifarish basis . 90% of recommended candidates will fail in railway group D exam🤣🤣🤣😂

Respected Sir, is there any possibility and need of giving a Profile Picture in a specific scale points to each candidate along with marks given by each assessor...so as to help him know his performance and atributes in a more objective manner...thus ensuring transparency as well..

Colonel, please don't shield the the system and it's more vulnerable than anyone can think of. If you want tomake the system transparent, why don't you promulgate the marks, along with result. I have seen 6 generation officers too. Means OLQs is there in the genes of officers. The only way we can curb the corruption is to involve more civilians in the ssb board.

The only thing which happens is that wards of defence officers are selected.
Though the wards of jawans like myself are more dedicated too join the services and prepare very well for our SSBs but still we are outfavoured by the selectors.

Utna bada amount juta nahi paye to fir unhone wo mauka chodd diya. Because he was a very hardworking and genuine person with OLQs my dad rose up to become Subedar Major ( highest rank that one can achieve as a soldier. Which is like an army officer becoming Genreral i.e, last promotion. ).
Even by looking at his service he again got promoted to Honorary Lieutenant rank ( which means like giving honour as a commissioned officer ).

This is only the second case of corruption 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 when an individual don't get to know about the grounds of his rejection what the hell he can even do... A jco in the sce told me that army is way more corrupt than any other government organisation and I didn't liked that and on the day of conference I even suggested the board president to remove such type of jco's in the selection centre... Now I regret my doing I thought that he was telling a lie but now I realised that he was an honest and blunt individual...

I had my medical refer of minor varicose veins .i had done treatment (sclerotheraphy-which is not a surgery ,not even a cut)but i was unfit ,they told me post operations are not allowed ,i told the surgeon who is a colonel that now i have no problem but he did't undersatnd it....and i have seen my buddies who had done laser treatment for operations of ear etc and they got selected.i have no problem with it but there is corruption in army such as in medical etc...mera gaun ma kuch aasa bnda ha jo direct bolta ha 5 lakh do apka army gd/clerk ma medical aur written krva denga...even ki bo bolta ha apna written ma omr pa kuch nii tick krna ha except your roll no.....ma ye nii bolta ki sb officers corrupted ha but corruption chlti ha bhai log army ma...bhout yi khatranak tareeqa sa...pta b nii chlna deta..

Gentlemen, let's face the fact that this is an exception in such a long history of armed forces. Not the least exceptions prove the efficacy and m sure the corrective measures would be put in place by organization. What else is required, the investigation was done by Army HQ as briefed by the COAS.

As a student I am aware of these practices from 2010 when one recommendation had a cost of 30 lakhs as in 2010 one of my seniors who paid this amount and got recommended.
Then 2019 NCC special entry when president of the 31 SSB board in Kapurthala asked 45 lakh for one recommendation from a very close friend of mine as the president was from same regiment that of his grandfather.
Meanwhile thousands of times I mailed DG recruitment about the same but they did nothing and became a part of such a shame.
Also if you want I can give you precise details of people I know who got into forces with such malpractices.
The fact of the matter is you people are their team B and you will lie to people like me stating beta system ek dum fair hai.

@@InspirationIncite buddy the number of seats in technical ssb are 5,6 approx for a particular branch .India produce huge number of engineers every year .And the age limit is 27 .So think practically for those few seats how much will be the competition .Even after that Technical seats remain vacant 😂 .That's why I said we have to improve ourself .

Colonel, you proved that there is someone wrong in the system. How can that commandant called up the Ssb centre to know the performance of his son. The system is rotten and SSB Kapurthala is just one example. Your video is self explanatory of malpractices in the system. While a normal civilian doesn’t have access to his assessment , army commandant got every details about his son. Shameful act.

Sir, with all due respect, the one thing we often hear from Armed forces is that in Services there is 0 margin for error. If that is true such accusal should never have happened let alone 2nd time. According to Army, every officer is expected to have such higher level of standards because each officer represents all of Army. In such case this stain of few officers do reflect up on whole Army. Why would a aspirant trust this system, why would a civilian trust their safety and welfare on these officers? Just because they are not answerable to us? What about all those hardcore aspirants who have lost their opportunities, attempts, eligibility because someone with a deeper pockey got the best of them. Can anyone deny the fact that there are genuine, talents out there who were not given fair odds. People with such integrity can always shine somewhere and serve the nation in their own means but can army really afford to lose such talents. Despite all our spirit for out country and armed forces Sir we are deeply disappointed as aspirants. We deserve better.

students are taking day and night efforts to turn their dream into reality. And defence officers are doing injustice with the candidates.
In the ssb some officers are asking irrelevant questions during the interview. Asking the names of five frds. Officer will choose one frd and start asking complete history of that frd. Frd parents name, frd grandparents name, frd parents qualifications,frd parents salary, frd native place and famous for and so on. 45 minutes questions on frd background. Do you thing it is correct to ask 17 years old candidate such questions which are not related to armed forces. ???
The candidate who doesn't allow the other candidates to express their views , who used slang language, and finally that candidate is selected. On what bases you are selecting the candidates.
Today 2 lakhs students are writing their nda papers. Travelling 400 to 500km from native place to the alloted centre. Parents are sitting hours and hours outside the centre in this pandamic.
And defence officers are playing with their dream by during these scam.
Really shame.

It is said that, nobody gets an undue advantage, so if someone is of better background is judged accordingly to make selection procedure fair so that candidates from rural areas get fair chance.
So if someone is son of an officer, expectation bar is expected to be high for them.
but still more than 50% recommended candidates are kids of those officers.
while most of the rest are of Army schools. Only after all this a normal candidate needs to be extra ordinary to get recommended.
If have seen candidates getting screened out on 1st day, even after performing better than other one getting screened in.
Still they say, selection procedure is fair
What are you even saying dude, children who've lived their whole lives in camps or in army schools obviously will have better traits to become officers.

I am telling you on the basis of what I experienced in the SSBs I have gone through and those who got recommed in and around the locality I live.
Even I used to believe that its all fair. But, where there are human things can't be pure.
And I have seen how people give money to pass medical test and even making it to the merit.
I am son of an army officer and have been screened out twice though i did well from my side, please don't blame system and work hard for SSB.
