If Mika is effective as JT’s wing, you have to give Lavi credit. Many coaches would have simply demoted Zibanejad to a bottom 6 center. We’ll see how the rest of the season pans out.

Its funny that we lost some good young talent like chytil and kakko but when you see a player like JT, besides being good, he makes others better and that's so visible. as promising as chytil and kakko could be, i don't think they are "leader" types that have a big influence on their teamates.
You went off on Lindgren earlier today. But ignored Fox's pathetic play in that game. Lindgren played with an edge tonight. Something Fox would never give you. Borgen and Vaakanainen played well also. Lafreniere may have gotten the Rangers first but he still had another lackluster game. Horrible. All he has is a decent shot. Cuylle has been struggling offensively but he still plays hard. That hit on Pietrangelo. He needs to be with Miller. Cuylle- Miller- Kaliyev. Miller is making Zibanejad play harder. But Zibanejad still plays too cute and lazily. Lokks like JT is also trying to boost Keandre who played a bit more physical. Eventhough he lost the faceoff when he had to replace Zibanejad after Zib got ousted from the faceoff. Zib went to tell JT something and he shut him down. Told him to go to the far side and the moved Keandre behind him to get the faceoff. If won. But too bad he didnt win it. Saw JT Miller directing alot on faceoffs tonight. Captain?
The Rangers have played a large stretch of the season without any heart or drive. Going forward I don’t think JT will let that happen. His physical play and sandpaper is making a few others play the same. He’s exactly what this team needed. Definitely a serious contender for Captain. But we still have too many soft players. It’s too bad Chytil went the other way. He was one of the few on this team who gave 110% every shift.
Miller time on broadway. Mika can;t play casual if you are on the same line as Miller. It will not do. We dont really have a true tier 1 power forward until we got Miller. Most of the top 6 are a high tier 2 players who dont like to get hit. Image if we got Miko Raantanan instead? On defense we gotta pick up Milan Lucic on a PTO. Make our defense mean and nasty.
Lol..that was the first penalty he took since he came back from suspension. He also drew a penalty that led to the game tying goal. Guy has a huge psychical presence on the ice. Only fake fans root against him.

Stop saying Trocheck is the future captain miller should and most likely will be after this season Trocheck has also been horrible lately he needs to get his head out of his ass he’s really looking like the 3C which is pretty good but still

I agree. i'd also like to see how our center depth looks with miller, troch, mika, carrick for overall balance
JT definitely has given us a spark. I agree -this will help us make the playoffs and go deep.
