i just got this uke yesterday/ i followed ur instructions.everything worked. G, C, E but A is sounding little flat even tho on my tuning machine or tuner it says A ... it sounds flat. idk if i got defective one. what do i do :( everything else sounds exactly same except A is little flat :/ help!
hey thanks , these are pretty helpful and friendly videos... just one question when trying to tune, the tuner indicates the letter G, C, E, A.... but it also indicates a number 4, 3, 2, 1.... what are the numbers supposed to mean? thanks anyone
Those simply represents the physical string that is being played. There are 4 strings. If you begin your counting at #1, and you begin counting from the string furthest to the left, the G string will = 1, C = 2, E = 3, A = 4. This is probably because, you can play each note by simply strumming the singular string, or you can hit the note by playing a combination of strings at once (chords). So the number you see on the tuner next to the note letter, is probably there to specify that the note played is that of a singular string. Just a guess though.
thanks! its my birthday and I got the same thing as. you! Ur very helpful
This was really helpful, thank you!
VincesFur :))
Why does my tuner show my first string as an E?
