So I have it on Steam. when I load it up it gives me an option to run a mod version or the anti cheat version. I launch the easy-anticheat version and it worked for a while. However just as of today I cannot play multiplayer anymore and I haven't been using mods or cheats or anything of the sort. I did all the video listed and it still does not work. any other recommendations?
I had the same problem. I did what the video said (both fix the easy cheat thing and verify files) and then I just restarted my computer. Works fine now.
Fixed it for me. However when I ran the EAC setup it told me that EAC wasn't even installed even though I've played MCC since it's launch. Installed it made all the updates for Windows. Done.
This actually worked aswell. I have looked at so many different fixes for this and one of them worked! I had 1 file that didnt verify and I also done the Eazy installer just incase. I can finally play Halo 2 anniversary
It turns out that there is an update which you can only get through "Xbox app", something I've never used. I was "aparently" still using the old verison. There is no prompt to update when you load the game or even a prompt from windows store unless you go looking for it. It's just a huge let down to learn that I've been using an old buggy crashy version of the game for years when I could have been using a polished working version that fixes all the problems I've had since purchasing it.
What do I do if the repair service doesn’t specifically list “Halo” but instead the drop down only has the option for “current (game 426)” I really want to play

Noticed at first that my anti virus AVAST was blocking a Dll file from the game.and I exclude it but this didn’t help. hi, got a problem related with the critical error but before that happeng I got a window with the error 0xc000012f. I try in the steam foro but I didnt got nothing from there. Im not sure how to do to fix that :/
Yo i need help, I didnt do anything that would be considered cheating but when I boot up the game(Steam on PC) it won't let me matchmake because I have a "internal integrity violation." Can anyone explain that or if you have any fixes please? Would mean a lot
@@chriswizardman6384 um i use steam, and i just uninstalled the full game from my computer then i deleted any left over files then i reinstalled the game and it worked perfectly...
@@ddch4z so it is that I have to do it again. The game works perfect only on firefight but it crashes on campaign, I never got to play a mission of it aside from the first with the cutscene
@@chriswizardman6384 I have a cracked version too, and it works perfectly. Custom MP and firefight work, but matchmaking does not due to easy anti cheat for some reason.
Halo mcc run by unreal 4 engine And it needs a decent PC to run it If you don't have that it won't work Even if you try to fix the error by these fixes
@@Cignificant I tried a lot of things but nothing really worked until I went into the game files and deleted the easy-game cheat files. Then I restarted my computer and launched the game....After that it was OK
If you guys can't find it, it's in the file called "installers" and you'll be able to access the anti cheat set up

"easyanticheat_setup.exe" was in the folder "installers" not "easyanticheat" for me, hope this helps.

It didn't work with windows games. If you are going to make a video about fixing something include other platform also not just steam.

My mcc doesn't launch and shows launch errors 14 or 25. It gives me option to close the game or search for solution on web browser. How can I fix it?
