Dagan is a new character, from the High Republic era in which the Jedi were at their strongest and most exploratory. They had less restrictive rules about attachment and stuff, with some even having romantic partners I think, and they were generally leaning hard into being peacekeepers and protectors. We don’t know yet what specific events lead to the Jedi order looking like what we recognize in the prequel-era. Personally, I’m very much looking forward to seeing this timeline expanded upon

The cool thing about the way they handled Dagan is that he hadnt fallen to the dark side yet up until that point as seen by his saber still being gold, but as he recited what the order did and didn't do plus being "betrayed" by his girl he snapped almost instantly, i think this was a good move for two reasons 1. It subverts your expectations buy letting u think he would spend majority of the game with the gold saber 2. It firmly shows the subtle differences between being on the edge of darkness vs giving yourself over to it completely.
So yeah, basically everything in this game (Dagan, Tanalore, etc) is new lore. You're not gonna find any info on them outside the storyline of Survivor. Also their is a Force ability called Beast Control which does allow Jedi to calm and/or command beasts. We were introduced to it originally in KOTOR 2. Rebels later utilized it a bit more.
Okay so let me break it down for you: Blue lightsabers signify the Jedi Guardians, these are Jedi who focus more on their lightsaber skills than their force abilities and tend to be doers rather than thinkers. Green lightsabers signify the Jedi Consular, these are basically the opposite of the Jedi Guardian and focus less on lightsaber techniques and more on their knowledge of the force. These Jedi tend to have very diplomatic personalities and want to solve their problems with as little violence as possible. Yellow lightsabers signify the Jedi Sentinel, these Jedi are basically perfectly balanced between the ideals of the Guardians and Consulars, putting equal focus and commitment between their lightsaber technique's and force abilities. Typically these Jedi prefer to solve their problems with words first but won't hesitate to fight if the situation calls for it.

The new white khyber crystal we get in survivor is actually Trilla/ The second Sister’s red crystal which Cal and Cere purified after the end of Fallen Order.

I just finished the story yesterday and am almost 100% done and I can confidently say not a single lightsaber boss fight was disappointing in the slightest. They knocked these bosses out of the park which is high praise for someone like me who plays souls games like it’s my job😂

3:50 gen' dai have no vital organs only tissue and nerves so they are almost immortal as they heal basically as fast as wolverine. They are virtually ageless though some succumb to mental diseases about 4,000-7,000 ears into their life. Also im pretty sure dagan mentioned the Rayvis when he was talking about how the council was communing longer than his fight with the gen dai. I think he probably almost killed Rayvis and then made him take an oath to him or whatever.
They are definitely making a trilogy of games here, this second one seems so much better than the first one like it’s a series of movies. There’s definitely gonna be a third game
This trilogy is amazing, I want at least a few more games before the conclusion of his character. Hopefully either a noble death or jedi master like cal accepting peace and retiring the fight. I’d be absolutely psyched if we got to see him interact with Luke after the Empires fall.
it’s classic star wars, first one is becoming a jedi and finding yourself, second is finding your purpose, third is a conclusion to the story, either they win or find peace, star wars works in trilogies

When you die in a bosfight it leaves your xp on the ground and you seem to pick it up straight up but you should pick it up after you have taken some damage because it restores all your health to full

Old Republic= Sith during their Prime High Republic= Jedi during their Prime The High Republic era technically ended during the prequel film timeline Honestly having been privy to reading books/comics of both I still feel the old republic era was way better. Honestly I dropped caring about the high Republic due to its lack of engaging things in my opinion. Always be sure to check it out for yourself though

Yoda rocked the green, and I loved seeing Luke go badass Jedi with green before the sequels. 😁 Always awesome to check in to see how you fair in the galaxy. 🙂 For a bit of context on High Republic - the era was around 500 BBY and ended around 100 BBY in which the Galactic Republic was said to be at its height and a time of expansion. Also considered the golden age for the Jedi Order. By the looks of their attire and such, they seem to have their weaponry and attire in a Star Wars/Knights of Camelot type style. They were all over and acted as peacekeepers - In the late period of time of the era, Count Dooku was born and taken into the Jedi Order, near the end of the era Dooku passed his initiate trials and became Padawan under Yoda. And for Dagan Gera, I'm pretty sure this is his first appearance, though I have not read the books - so I may be incorrect. Hope this helps out. 😁

If you go into the place In front on the cantina there is a place we’re you get items for those shards don’t buy the thing that’s 10 it just gives you a extra stim for cal so I wouldn’t recommend it - great vid ❤
I’m currently playing through on grandmaster and lord is it a trip, never have I ever loved elden ring and dark souls for preparing me for these game difficulty’s. In this fight I think it took me around 4 try’s, double blade is crazy for encounters like this.
11:56 Green was generally used by Jedi Consulars who were more insightful and studied the force they usually serve as ambassadors and advisors in the political world. Blue were used by the Guardians the proactive members of the order acting as peacekeepers,bodyguards or rarely commanders. Finally Yellow was used but the Sentinel and were well versed in many practical skills such as slicing(read:Hacking) and acted as the detectives and undercover agents of the order. This is all legends lore and the colors are not a hard and fast rule.

I loved the focus on parrying in this game, especially the human enemies, much better than FO in that way.

If you go into the place In front on the cantina there is a place we’re you get items for those shards don’t buy the thing that’s 10 it just gives you a extra stim for cal so I wouldn’t recommend it - great vid ❤

I’m currently playing through on grandmaster and lord is it a trip, never have I ever loved elden ring and dark souls for preparing me for these game difficulty’s. In this fight I think it took me around 4 try’s, double blade is crazy for encounters like this.

Finally Yellow was used but the Sentinel and were well versed in many practical skills such as slicing(read:Hacking) and acted as the detectives and undercover agents of the order.
This is all legends lore and the colors are not a hard and fast rule.
