- This is the finale for now for Sifu... This boss rush was not easy at all man. And this Sifu true ending wasn't worth it either

Awesome! If you buy the stagger parry from the shrines and develop into weapons do more stagger you can beat the bosses without a sweat
Here's the explanation of the endings
When you kill al the bosses including Yang, the flashback is about the time Yang got casted out by the Player's father, simple enough to understand.
Now throughout the game (mainly mission 4) we get info that there were guardians protecting some kind of power which the pendant thing that allows you to come back to life is part of. Yang and the other 4 bosses wanted to get that power and use it for the good of humanity which is what they did since at the end Yang can kill a bird, and make it come back to life.
The sparing ending now, is all about showing the bosses that you can whoop they ass if you want to, but you still not gonna kill them, because you follow your father's path, and not Yang's path. Yang is fueled by vengeance, he killed the player's father because he lost his family, and the player's father did not tell him there was a way to keep them alive/bring them back to life thanks to the pendant. So he got mad and killed the player's dad as well as the students and all that. When you kill the bosses, you follow Yang's path which is that of vengeance, if you spare them, you follow your father's path.
In the sparing ending, the flashback that happens when you get striked to the ground after you press the spare button is the memory of Yang losing his family. You show him you can beat his ass by sparing him, but he killed you with that death punch. You wake up somewhere, in some king of heaven, But then you get brought back to life by Yang and get to run your Father's Pak Mei martial arts school again.
yeah the extra cutscene fleshes out the story a lot, both regarding yang and the fate of the player
All of that could have easily been written and fleshed out with proper lines from the actors and storytelling wich clearly the storyboard directors sucked at and left it at the player's discretion to figure out.

10/10 soundtracks
5/10 story telling delivery
@@saintsocramnymaia5511 I mean, they literally gave you the detective board in the game. It is clear that the story demands some sort of effort by the players to figure out. Similar to how Dark Souls' stories are told but Sifu made it much more clear than Dark Souls. You collect clues from all over the map, finding backstories of all the bosses and you connect all the pieces together. The game doesn't wanna connect it for you, they're giving you all the information required for you to understand the story. I did find the ending a tad bit unsatisfying but when I think about it, everything the game wanted to tell has already been told in subtle ways so I don't think there's any need to stretch it further. The story of this game is a strong 8/10 for me. So it isn't just the gameplay that demands a lot from the players but the story too and I think that fits very well.
@Saint socram Nŷmaíã because the story is simple to understand without all the background to it. The detective board adds into the replayability and helps flesh out the story if you WANT to. If you don't, you can just whoop ass and take names. Great design imo
@@LulutheJester I think without reading the detective board, it's pretty difficult to understand what happened. But when you do, the story just gets deeper and 90% of all the things that makes no sense like the bosses being able to do magic or how Jing Feng got wealthy is all explained without the need of the writer's connecting the puzzles for you. It's really fun I think
That wasn’t the final ending, after the credits, you see that Yang revives Sifu Jr. since his amulet is missing one piece and Sifu Jr. becomes his own Sifu training his own pupil.
Dang! It took a whole 10 years to heal from that punch😂
The amulet is just darker or missing because of the deaths not because yang revived you
@@Brusome1 I mean in order for sifu jr to be alive yang would've HAD to purposefully revive him. Since he smacked the amulet away in the final fight
@ya boi yes but what he's saying is if you are say age 40, the coin will glow in response to those deaths. I saw someone complete it at a late age and it had only 2 coins left glowing.
@@LulutheJester beat it at 24 and there was still one missing. Pretty sure I watched a no death run somewhere on here that had one not glowing too.
story is actually really good imo, after killing everyone he is still filed with rage but after sparing he reaches wude (enlightenment) because one of the values of kung fu is never to use it for vengeance.

Story is good, its just I think it wasn't presented all that well. I don't mind though, I'm pretty sure having a tight gameplay was always the design direction for this game, and they never intended it to be story heavy.

After the credits it's implied that Yang used the talisman to revive you (it shows one dulled out) and you are back at the school where you are now the Sifu

If you keep the 5X multiplier you can spend for the parry that damages their stagger more. Very useful in getting rid of the first phase of any boss easily
also very useful for the second phase since you need to parry a lot there

I don't think it would have given afro what he wanted, these subtle stories don't seem like his cup of tea sadly. he played really well though!

You missed the post credits scene, Yang revives you from death and you take over as head of Sifu like your father, with all the elements in your possession.
You also have achieved Wude, aka the ultimate enlightenment of the warrior.
By never giving into revenge and seeking only to defeat and show each of them the error of these days as well as mastering the elements of each and bringing it back to the talisman.
I love how each boss pulls a Domain expansion on us lol 🤣
Yang’s domain really is just Malevolent Shrine with the way it’s impeccable compared to every other boss
they put us in a fudghing jitsu, and yang just straight up revives trauma
You skipped the last ending. After the credits its implied that your brother returned the medallion to you and you came back to life. The last scene shows the main character (you can see the bead bracelet and red sash) answer to a student who calls out "sifu" . So its implied that you come back to life and continue the teaching.
The muscle memory to execute when you trying to spare is real

I mean, you may not have understand the story, but ill give youa brief expalnation of what i think happened. Yang lost his wife and Child for some reason, maybe an attack or disease (Thats what the 2 tombstones are). Thus he decide to rob the talisman from Sifu's family. But, since they're dead looks like it didnt work out. I dont really know how our Guy is alive. Maybe Yang gave the talisman back, or they had another talism, maybe his dad gave it to him before he died, we dont know. But, our guy didnt Die, he achieved Wude. And in the final scene (pos-credits) he rebuilt his school, and thus became an actual SIfu.
I knew afro would accidentally kill fajar the first time, one of the hardest thungs about sparing the bosses is not executing them asap lol. Also seeing afro go into kuroki with the knife and not bat made me feel sorry, the bat is way easier imo, especially since they patched out that stunlock exploit

You could literally kick their asses and have the good ending so long as you don’t use the finisher and spare them on the second phase
What that's what he did. But if you beat them up too much it will just kill them and instantly do the finisher and stop the spare option
@@buckheadblue4709 you can kick their ass on the second phase as long as you don’t use the finishers on the second one. He played defense the entire round through and didn’t even get the REAL true ending because he had to be under 25
@@chicomac8450 first of all no because you can’t let their health hit zero or you’ll automatically go into the finisher animation
Second of all you don’t have to be under 25 it’s just an after credits scene

@@jbwolf4 1) you don,t have to be under 25 to get the real ending, you just get a trophy but it does feel nice since its pretty rare naturally, and 2 you can just beat them up, only requirement is to break structure twice on the second phase so go ham, hope that helped there.

the old lady is easier to spare because in this game the older you get the more damage and stamina damage you take but you hit harder. hence why her hits did a great deal of damage but you can stamina break her faster.
Tip for the kuroki second phase: if you have the weapon catch ability you can catch her knives, but the knives WON’T kill her eventually she’ll have no health but it’ll keep filling her stagger bar. It’s long but if you have a hard time partying her combos that truck works.

I see you with the Ultra Instinct Afro! On the annoying boss’ 2nd phase, catch her knife if you have the skill then melee her with the knife, you can throw it too but it’s more effective to melee her.

The reason why it's hard to raise their posture is because you didn't level up the right thing. In the scores, the third one increases the amount of posture damage you do when you block/parry an attack

Man it would be so cool if the story flipped if you spared Yang then you could replay that save as Yang 🤯 with all of the moves unlocked
