Ok here are your updated tips: EXTRA: ROLLING IS DODGING. JUMPING IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. WHEN YOU JUMP, YOU SHOULD IMMEDIATELY ROLL WHEN HITTING GROUND. 1) smoke bombs are great against heavy enemies who have hard-to-break stances. Meaning when you use the bomb, if you place it and time it the right way = enemies will not attack and focus their attention towards the smoke (presumably you use them close enough to be affective) 2) You need to learn the importance of jumping-blocking-rolling-attacking-jumping and using ultimate techniques (holding down Y). The orbs you get from enemies can supplement these UT's and make them charge faster. There's 3 levels of UT's. Normal, White ora, and Yellowish ora. 3) Prioritize leveling up your weapons, every time you do they go up in damage and ADD more combos for you to use. Combos in this game are extremely important. 4) Shurikens are a great way to stun enemies if theres distance between you, particularly enemies with guns/bows/ etc. 5) Golden Scarabs are used in the shop to trade for rare items. Sometimes weapons. 6) Rooms with constant spawning enemies are just challenge rooms that will likely be worth completing for an extra shiny item at the end. 7) LEARN THE GOD DAMN IZUNA DROP
If he doesn't learn how to roll jump to get around in combat hes not going to get very far. Also doing a wind run to wind path combo then pulling off an UT when landing is a huge help once you learn how to do it. I hope he reads the comments.
Afro this next chapter your in, the area is extremely huge and it’s very easy to get lost. Make sure to explore because there are new weapons in the area. A move you NEED to learn how to do is the Izuna drop it’s a amazing move to learn
There's a mechanic you've been doing accidentally but not realizing how powerful it is. When you hold the charge attack button, if there's any color orbs around you, they'll get instantly absorbed into you and charging your attack to the next level instantly instead of having to wait 3 seconds or whatever. You can even increase the charge attack by up to 3 levels and do an insane super combo that just destroys everything in your path. That's why its good that bosses have those little enemies, cuz when they drop the orbs, absorb them and charge your attack and just go ham on the boss. It's so amazing.

Quick Tip: If you do the charge attack while you have orbs nearby they will charge your attack for extra damage and combos, if I remember correctly. The larger or rarer the orb the better. Just hold the charge attack when near the orbs they drop and test it.
I Was Looking To See If Anyone Mentioned This... This Is Very Important Afro, A Major Mechanic In Setting Up Powerful Combos, It's The Main Reason Fodder Enemies Are With The Boss, So The Orbs They Drop Can Charge Your Attack...
A few basic tips from someone who has beaten Master Ninja several times -Get in the habit of doing roll>jump>roll so you can stay mobile. Mobility is extremely important. Never stay still too long. -Get in the habit of using camera reset in n out of combat to always keep the camera centered in front of Ryu -On landing heavy attack if essence is laying around will instantly let you cancel into a UT -Shuriken: Use shuriken cancels to cancel out of combo animations. Use shuriken mid air to buffer your jump and increase air time -Dragon sword: all around best weapon: Master it -Use windpath/headstomp to stagger enemies and open them up for attacks. -If your guard breaks, press L1 again or roll away or you will get hit Put together, this is what it all should look like: ruclips.net/video/qjO8chkDDTo/видео.html
10:52 I think Goofy Movie and Hercules are really good family movies that happen to present normally adult subjects to kids (Hercules is basically a reverse Rom-Com where Herc is "the girl" in the relationship with Meg, Goofy Movie is about a father going on a road trip with his son after his principal told him he "started a riot" at school and his biggest fear is his son could grow up to get the electric chair). They're honestly underrated movies in my family since they like Tarzan out of the others. I also think Mushu is the best part of Mulan and Michael Bolton's version of Going the Distance was the best use of a celebrity singing a Disney song in the credits.
Sup Afro my dude ! Few Tips 1- Try to upgrade your wapons and with that you have more combos to play. Favorite Comb- Izuna Drop: square, triangle, square, square, square, triangle ... you will LOVE that move 2_ to use your ninpo is : square and triangle together if i not mistake, will save a lot XD but use wisely because is quite hard to find Red Orbs or Red Potion to fill your Ninpo again, and just like you find the blue orbs of the health, you can upgrade your ninpo bar, . 3- The last is that the next level is Hards as hell, but try to explore the area you get new wapons and items than help in you game.
lovin this series man hit the like hoping to see more of this series in the future. you never fail to put a smile on my face everyday keep up the good work afro
I might be tripping, but the music/audio editing in this video is some of your best work. Also picking up on where all of the songs and sounds cues come from is fun lol. Ultimate Ninja, FF7, Death Note, etc. Good stuff
Afro that whirlwind attack at around 12 minutes is because you hit them with a charged heavy but the yellow orb that was around flew to you automatically making it a Max charged heavy attack with a special move pretty much
I played Transformers Armada as a kid and I got to a boss called tidal wave and it took me YEARS to figure out to beat him. I SPENT DAYS AND NIGHTS TRYNA FIGURE IT OUT. My best friend came over a couple times and he tried, my dad when he whenever he showed up he tried. I quit the game and tried it again, getting to the same spot. Smh when I hit 12 I think, around that age and I decided to play it again and I figured out. My joy in beating that boss that day was nothing but relief. But nothing made me happier then when I beat the game myself. Aw man 10/10 game lol. I remember I got stuck on the Hornet Queen that PSP Dax game. So happy I beat her and beat the game the following days.
The answer on the weapon question is: yes you can miss all kinds of weapons, items and moves and tools if you don't explore. Also, remember that when you are at the item menu, you can press triangle to see the move list of a weapon. Upgrading teh wepaon gives you more moves alongside a damage boost for it.
I'm enjoy watching these episodes, I wonder if you beat this as I'm watching. edit @20:13 So I'm 34 and played this when I was 15. Pretty much all games now are a joke for me. Hence why I'm more old school. I still play on my NES, genesis, N64 and dreamcast. lol It was around when the original xbox came out with Ninja gaiden was the happiest point in my life cause games came so far. Ninja Gaiden for me was like pure gold. Two came out, enjoyed it.... but as time goes on and the more games I've played, I realize I haven't been enjoying them. They are all just too easy. I told my friends to get NGaiden. I was young so.... I was honestly shocked when they all said they didn't like it. Everyone was playing.... I think Devil May Cry instead or Need for Speed. Of course they wanted me to try.... I was tapping buttons and was wondering when it would get hard. It never did. Stopped playing cause it was boring. NFS was fun though. Unfortunately, the person who was considered the.... core of dead or alive and Ninja gaiden, I think his name was Itagaki. He got fired due to some trouble with women. The Backlash begin. Everyone was pretty much saying Without Itagaki, there is no Team Ninja. Luckily, he was there mostly for Ninja gaiden 2 and dead or alive....4? But ninja gaiden 3 and doa 4 (or as it 5) were the products of a team ninja without Itagaki and it showed. in the end, both games ended up going more casual. NG3 razors edge had coop and you could play with friends and battle each other online. You could go through the whole game by just charging your weapon. Dead or Alive got more bouncy, more bikinis, more boobs so it never made it to the tournaments. Everyone considered DOA a "fan service" game. The core combat was still there but they turned it into a game where you could get 30 outfits or more for each female character. In the end, when they did "attempt" to go less sexual with the game and more competitive, their fans were angry. Lets face it, they turned doa into a fan service game, the fans reaction was expected. In a way.... Ninja Gaiden.... for me was that game that was the best and no other game could rival it. At this point I changed game genres. While I still played fighting games, I moved to competitive MMOS and single player RPGS. I did nothing but VS/Player vs player games, won a few tournaments, had the time of my life. But now I'm 34.... I'm mostly working now, I can't seem to play as long as I used to without falling asleep. Now I'm just casually playing games while trying to make some money doing it. I Quit the competitive gaming so now I'm more of an rpg/mobile fan now. Getting old sucks.
Afro, the reason bosses come with enemies is to give you orbs. The reason the orbs are yellow is because they can be used to pull off a rapid charged special attack. When the orb drops, press and hold triangle (I think) and you'll super charge quick for a special attack. Release it and fire!
Yo Afro its great to see someone playing ninja gaiden again. The dragon katana is always the strongest and really the only needed weapon in the game. The other weapons usually add utility and combo potential. I'd love to see you play all the ninja gaiden
As someone who's heard of Ninja Gaiden and as someone who's never touched it, I can say that I'm loving this playlist but I've been loving every afro playlist
Yo I've had the collection for a Good bit but never got around to playing them till more recently. Beat Razors edge few months ago and didn't try 1&2 and beat Ninja Gaiden 1 back when I was a Kid so I didn't have much interest at the time in replaying it, Thanks to Afro trying 1 I jumped in and beat The first game within a few days, was alot of fun but man is it CLUNKY on Platforming and some Bosses, Razors Edge Gameplay spoiled me XD and I miss My fav character to use Aka Kasumi. Now playing NGS2 tho and just wow... I mean It sucks that the gore factor is "censored" still Red blood and all but Purple mist on Cutting off limbs which sucks..but the gameplay? Fuck man Might be the best out of the 3 and it has the best side content with Tag missions where you and a AI partner can wreck shit and even practice mode in it also to well practice with all the characters. All in all I really recommend playing these :) just don't Do what Afro did and start on hard XD cause fuck normal Difficulty def is hard enough To start on lol
Everyone has been giving some pretty good tips so here’s one you probably haven’t seen yet. When you get to han’s bar in chapter 4, you’ll pick up a message telling you there’s a secret weapon hidden in the city. Run along the wall where you pick up the message, and do a couple wall jumps to get to the top. You’ll find a special weapon and a machine that refills your health to full capacity as well as your ninpo (every time you return to the spot). It makes the game a lot easier in terms of managing health items and ninpo (which is one of your strongest tools for killing bosses)
utilize the wall run and wall jump more often. will help you keep moving through the gun fire and close the distance faster. this game is movement focused. dont square off unless an opening presents itself. im tempoted to buy this game again. at 35 its been a long time since i played this game but i loved it back in the day.
@@kpj2224 staying still and trying to block everything will just get you grappled. most enemies have a grapple so movement is your friend. i bought the collection again and im already on chapter 5.
You know, this is one of the few games I've seen where everything changes with every difficulty, (Example: 80 guys in hard mode, 100 guys in expert mode, etc.) So even if Afro does compromise to this old ass game. Its gonna make him see and feel how much of a bitch old games made you feel if you wasnt on hard. This is gonna be a long journey, that I'm starting to think Afro is gonna make to the end. Whether he want to or not. This game will force you to feel like you got something to prove.
Hey afro, if you jump at the end of your dodge, you can get a boosted jump and you can also change directions. Essentially you can dodge left and jump right afterwards for a follow up attack. This helps a ton with avoiding attacks.
Small tip that might help The fastest way to get around is to roll then jump, continue doing those back to back and you move a lot faster. Also great in combat to dodge bullets and other projectiles, just be careful whenever you’re in high places.
21:18 👀 Joking! This was one of the first games that after I beat it I felt like I accomplished something rather than just a story coming to a conclusion.
As a player who has thoroughly played all versions of ninja gaiden. I can still appreciate how excited and frustrated this dude is. He needs to learn essence control, upon landing techniques and shuriken cancels and optimal combos per enemy and bosses.
The moment Afro mentioned Sly Cooper and Jak & Daxter 2 being hard made everything make so much sense with how he's been playing so far. The man literally took that long to realize he could shimmy on the pole across the way. LMAO The unawareness is real bruh and it's hilarious!
One thing you really need to learn is that most bosses are highly resistant to Flying Swallow (the flying slash). Team Ninja knew players would try to spam it as a safe move. Normal standing attacks work better most of the time. The exception is that it can be used to knock down flying bosses. Also, upgrade your sword to use the Izuna Drop, by far the most effective combo against humanoid enemies.
Afro should definitely try playing the yakuza series, i started with yakuza 0 and now currently playing yakuza 5. Hands down the best series i have ever played!
The purple fit *was* from the first game. The first ninja gaiden was a SNES game lol Also it doesn’t seem like you’ve figured this out yet, but this game has like 6x as many moves as you’re using. There are directional attack inputs in this game Afro. Try inputting directions other than forward at the same time you hit an attack button, try charging each direction + attack, etc. The game encourages experimentation. Kind of like elden ring The likes thing is cool and all, would like to see you play something bc you love it for once tho and not just bc people told you to. The great thing about your persona stream was how much you cared about the game. ‘Like it or I quit’ makes everything you do feel like a cash grab throwaway my guy
I used to play Ninja Gaiden as i kid on my old Xbox. My expectations was enourmous, i remember every corner of the game, including the big X used as secret weapon you can obtain climbing in a specific row of walls at the main city. Cool experience seeing you playing that. keep on making more videos of the series!
Hey Afro, I’m sure you may have come across the local merchant? They are the blacksmith I believe and you can upgrade weapons, which will make the weapon stronger and unlock more combos. The Ninpo (like the fire spell you use this video), can all be upgraded as well but with The Jewel of the Demon Seal. So keep an eye out for those. Essence is what those orbs(yellow, blue, red) are called you pick up from dead enemies. The longer your combos the bigger the essence gets (so you can get bigger blue orbs). But you can still complete the game without having to do the longer combos.
This is the comment I was looking for cause I’ve never fully played these games. Are there more combos to utilize? Cause I know Afro is new and inexperienced but the gameplay looks way to generic for how popular the series is. I assumed more in-depth combat came later in the series though.
So I have finished the game on all difficulties. Here are some tips. 1. Always search for everything. 2. Pay attention to the vendor just because you can buy techniques like izuna drop which is one of the best. 3. Try not to do so many charge attacks. Because when you do it and there are orbs around you will pull them to you and it will not do what it usually does. 4. Always fight those huge fights so you get as many thousand lives of the gods as possible. Those are some basic tips.Everything else will come to you when the time is right
Just a tip afro. I would recommend getting used to rolling and then imediatly jumping. That is typically a much better way to move during fights and it gives you more precision once you’ve learned it. It makes the game feel much less klunky.
"Could I have missed this weapon if I didn't explore?" He doesn't know he missed one of the absolute top tier weapons in the game from not exploring fully in Chapter 2, the Lunar Staff 🤭
@@stevengauff6518 Well, if this is the Sigma version of Ninja Gaiden, then he can get it in Chapter 4. Each iteration of the first game has the Lunar Staff in a different chapter, so here's to hoping he doesn't miss it.
Afro, I almost HAVE to play the 2 game in the series. It is by far away the best of the three and the weapons that you unlock as the story progresses is stupid good. Hope to see you play the next one at least.
All because you haven't played it doesn't mean other people haven't honestly Ninja gaiden has been one of the if not the very inspiration that sparked never sought to create the soulsborne games if you actually go back all the way to the NES you'll even find a few Ninja gaiden games there

for the yellow orbs; if you charge the hard attack and absorb 1, you can chargw it faster... you will come across MORE WEAPONS AND NINPO, as long as you explore the areas a bit... if you dont wanna get too stuck, you need to look at some of his abilities of what he can do...and LEARN IZUNA DROP!!!!!
This Next chapter Tairon Has a lot of Harder enemies hiding in special places only a Ninja can reach , just make your way to the center part of town. oh and each weapon you get has a command list and specials the izuna drop and guillotine throw scroll is the bread n butter for most of these fights so grab that you can find those here , there are 19 chapters in total and 50 gold scarabs hidden in some chapters think there were 3 on the ship you finished , and 2 in this chapter and 4 in the next one , every set of 5 you get show them to old man muramasa and he will give you some rewards , you get a weapon when you collected 20. 15:40 Yo afro. Those orbs u collect are called Karma. Blue restores health, yellow is money, red is ki(ninpo) The reason u hit that crazy move earlier is because u charged an attack while gathering karma, that speeds up ur charge time AND gives u a crazier move. Think about it like knocking chakra orbs out of ur enemy in the Storm games Also, upgrade ur weapons. The "izuna drop" combo u get with the dragonsword is a 1 shot Kill. And it looks like Rock lees primary lotus.👍🏾
@@chriss.249 The Izuna Drop's origin began in the 1969 manga called Ninpu Kamui Gaiden OP (The Legend of Kamui). Kamui learned this move from watching weasels leap from trees and attack birds. Many fictional ninja and/or video game characters use Kamui's move to this day, such as Vega (Street Fighter), Ryu Hayabusa (Dead or Alive / Ninja Gaiden), and Kage-Maru (Virtua Fighter). So yeah, it came first. lol
3 chapters in, he hasn’t figured out that the orbs from killing enemies instantly charge a charge attack despite doing it at least once in all 3 chapters.
As someone who has beatin' this game from normal to master ninja 4 times in my life I can tell you all...afro is not playing this game right. I think what's even funnier is that when he 'learns how to play this, I think he will get addicted to it for life
*Me too, bro. I know that feeling. So, everyone knows what Arcane is right? What am I saying of course y’all do. Ok, I watched 1 episode of Arcane on 6pm right? It was a good show, so I decided that I’ll finish it in a day, BUT! It was 45+ minutes each. I finished it all in 4am. It was tiring, yet it was worth it.*
I'm just happy he finally used his damn life of the thousand gods he was sitting on since almost the beginning and upgraded his weapon. That WHOLE thing could have been easier if you'd used it sooner. Oh well. Also he used on landing super once so hopefully he actually figures it out since it's like the majority of what you do in the game against non boss enemies. Also man, don't be slandering the dragon sword, that thing is OP. Gets izuna drop and flying swallow and a god tier running attack. Dual swords fine too though.
Ok Afro, next tip...To dodge better and faster, combine his dodge (L1) and jump(X). You should preform a longer better dodge with that. Also there is a move called (can't remember) but if you press Box and Jump and the same time, Ryu does these flips really swiftly. On weapon upgrades. If you aren't planning on using the Dragon Sword, don't waste money upgrading it (you'll see why as you progress. Also, please for the love of God, LOOK AT YOUR WEAPONS MOVE LIST!!!! They explain all the combos and things your weapons can do as they are upgrading. But you're doing great so far on Hard mode and it being your first time. Good luck ninja. PS-This boss was probably one of the easiest...it's gonna get way more racist.
Afro, use the orbs to charge your ult. 2 yellow or 1 blue or 1 red will bring your charge to level 2. Use the orbs dropped by enemies to spam charge moves. Use them tactically instead of just collecting them.
Afro if you hold block and move in a direction you'll do a dodge roll, combine that with pressing x and it'll make your movement cleaner and so so much faster. Should mitigate some of the camera bullshit. Also, learning or at least looking at the weapon combos might help. Also, also, your fully charged triangle attack is strong af; absorbing 1 blue or red soul will instantly take you to full charge, however you won't get the health/mana regen. I'm loving the series so far. GL dude🤙
3:46 can you PLEASE not be an ADHD ridden child and just enjoy the cutscenes and story? "Oh no! my brain is not getting stimulation for 15 seconds! NOOOO MUST SKIIIIP!" Jesus Christ.
I think a big thing you should do is utilizing those charge attacks. When you hold down triangle you can absorb the health/currency and unleash your charged attacks faster! Keep in mind this will take away the heal!
32 years old and completely agree with you on Disney. Was my childhood. When my parents didn't wanna deal with me they'd say stfu and go watch Aladdin. I did what I was told. And Lightyear looks fire. Can't wait.
Afro spamming jump attack on the boss and not realizing that shit wasn't working was so damn painful, just the hit the guy with normal ass attacks and he takes damage no need to overthink it bro. There's no secret backpack weakpoint lol
Afro I hope you see this cuz this is very important Learn how to use the ON LANDING CHARGE which is when you have essence in the air you jump and the moment your feet touch the ground hold triangle and it will do a immediate charge for your ultimate techniques and grab that essence in the air to give you a more powerful version. Also don’t listen to people the roll plus’s jump is extremely useful if you do it constantly to close distances. as someone who has beaten these on the hardest difficulty I bid you good luck
I find it cute how Naruto is trying to save Ryu in the thumbnail. I think that’s how their meeting would really go. They wouldn’t battle it out. They would be on friendly terms, and Naruto would look up to Ryu.
Bro, please keep going! This is so good lol. As far as Disney goes, I also watch Disney movies; however, it depends on the movie. I did enjoy Encanto and Turning Red, but I don't plan to watch Lightyear. IMO, Toy Story 3 was it for me. I still haven't seen Toy Story 4, but will see it eventually.
Hey Afro charge up your attack longer with the yellow orbs!!! That’s how you get those combo’s going. This game was super ahead of it’s time in that respect. Hope your doing well Senju sir! You are amazing man!
@@DevourMistress Personally I had more trouble with Ishtaros/Elizabet in game 2, but for sure Alma's the first really hard roadblock you've to beat in NG. Doku in master ninja was a bitch to deal with too.
Ninpo is used by pressing triangle and circle together (I think? It's been a minute). Do NOT upgrade the dragon sword, Afro. Do. NOT. Other than that, you can use whatever weapons you want and upgrade them. I personally love the Vigoorian Flail and Falcon Talons, but you missed the Lunar Staff. Big sad. And if you get the Tonfa, they're really good for mechanical enemies. Also, the wooden sword legit becomes pretty fucking good if you fully upgrade it. And don't forget to use your Life of the Gods and Lives of the Thousand Gods. They increase your max health.

-If your guard breaks, press L1 again or roll away or you will get hit

We gonna reach the goal every time cause dis series is funny af😂

We love to witness his suffering.
So sick😂
He just let's out the inner sadist in all of us
10:52 I think Goofy Movie and Hercules are really good family movies that happen to present normally adult subjects to kids (Hercules is basically a reverse Rom-Com where Herc is "the girl" in the relationship with Meg, Goofy Movie is about a father going on a road trip with his son after his principal told him he "started a riot" at school and his biggest fear is his son could grow up to get the electric chair). They're honestly underrated movies in my family since they like Tarzan out of the others. I also think Mushu is the best part of Mulan and Michael Bolton's version of Going the Distance was the best use of a celebrity singing a Disney song in the credits.
There are 19 chapters. but tbh in total playtime this game is only about 12 -15 hours long. Please keep uploading these Afro we love you
Also some of them are really short
16:44 Should we tell him about the 100 _BLACK SPIDER NINJAS_ he'll have to deal with in Ninja Gaiden 2?
Its the Sigma version. That version neutered that fight.
LETS NOT EVEN MENTION THE GOT DAMN EXPLOSIVE SHURIKEN SPAM IN NG2
1:21 if you want to use Ninpo you have to press Triangle + Circle. X + A on switch. Y + B on Xbox.
Sup Afro my dude !
Few Tips
1- Try to upgrade your wapons and with that you have more combos to play. Favorite Comb- Izuna Drop: square, triangle, square, square, square, triangle ... you will LOVE that move
2_ to use your ninpo is : square and triangle together if i not mistake, will save a lot XD but use wisely because is quite hard to find Red Orbs or Red Potion to fill your Ninpo again, and just like you find the blue orbs of the health, you can upgrade your ninpo bar, .
There's a boss later in the game where it's *_mandatory_* to use your bow, so you better start getting used to it 🤣
Attack Helicopter? Lol
That............Fucking Tank.
Nah Afro genuinely got me dying 😂 😂 19:15
This game is pure nostalgia, might have to pickup the trilogy just cause. 🔥
Yea I have ninja Gaiden 2 bout to run it back
Facts it’s all coming back to me
Lol I’m doing it I still need to beat them anyway
Great idea yo
Afro: It's amazing I can just go into random rooms
Me: So your not gonna pick up that healing on the ta..
Afro: "leaves room"
Something to know is the only on harder difficulty do bosses get extra enemies to help them, on normal it usually is a one on one
Sigma has them come with the boss even on normal
I feel like you was using it in the right situations
@@kpj2224 staying still and trying to block everything will just get you grappled. most enemies have a grapple so movement is your friend. i bought the collection again and im already on chapter 5.
@@delta-11b80 yeah that’s my point.
Small tip that might help
The fastest way to get around is to roll then jump, continue doing those back to back and you move a lot faster.
Dudes playing on hard mode and expects his hand to be held
Afro should definitely try playing the yakuza series, i started with yakuza 0 and now currently playing yakuza 5. Hands down the best series i have ever played!
I foresee a lot of struggle in this gameplay unless Afro figures out how the game works and how you’re supposed to fight the enemies
4:15 the way ryu turned his head when afro said "dude" was waay to synchronized lmao xD that got me
I'm playing the game with you Afro. Next level gets crazy! Also that jump off the ledge was the funniest thing of 2022 so far 🤣🤣🤣
Please continue this series
30k Likes? That’s Easy money baby! We need the next episode soon my boy.
Wish we would get back to back uploads but him uploading ninja gaiden is good enough
You do know, it's just too push is video up. He doesn't care about the amount of likes and will upload regardless
The purple fit *was* from the first game. The first ninja gaiden was a SNES game lol
Also it doesn’t seem like you’ve figured this out yet, but this game has like 6x as many moves as you’re using. There are directional attack inputs in this game Afro. Try inputting directions other than forward at the same time you hit an attack button, try charging each direction + attack, etc. The game encourages experimentation. Kind of like elden ring
The likes thing is cool and all, would like to see you play something bc you love it for once tho and not just bc people told you to.
Best way to move around the game aswell as avoid damage is to roll and jump straight after again and again. Hope this helps
I hope he looks at the combo scrolls more for the weapons cause the combos are cool and do big damage.
This is the comment I was looking for cause I’ve never fully played these games. Are there more combos to utilize? Cause I know Afro is new and inexperienced but the gameplay looks way to generic for how popular the series is. I assumed more in-depth combat came later in the series though.
@@isadoregonzalez3016 As you upgrade the weapon you unlock more complex combos. There's a lot.
I see you’re talking about the one and only way to move around in this series xP
19:15 man really said "do a flip"
"Could I have missed this weapon if I didn't explore?"
He doesn't know he missed one of the absolute top tier weapons in the game from not exploring fully in Chapter 2, the Lunar Staff 🤭
Lunar staff shows up in the city you grab it off a monument
@@stevengauff6518 Well, if this is the Sigma version of Ninja Gaiden, then he can get it in Chapter 4.
Each iteration of the first game has the Lunar Staff in a different chapter, so here's to hoping he doesn't miss it.
The Lunar staff >>>>>
In sigma it's in the city, not infront of the house with Ayane
@@stingurameshi dual swords for me>>
I love how in under an hour, we are already almost a third of the way to the like goal lol. And it's been like that on all of the videos lmao
The boss at the top of the blimp reminds me of Cyborg Donatello but a fat version from TMNT.
12:55 and 19:13 were the funniest moments ever
I actually loved Sly Cooper and Jak, and I can admit those games def. had those "difficult" moments but made achieving them that much more sweeter.
Man, someone needs to tell him about the jump and roll skill so he can dodge those blast attacks
Afro, I almost HAVE to play the 2 game in the series. It is by far away the best of the three and the weapons that you unlock as the story progresses is stupid good. Hope to see you play the next one at least.
All because you haven't played it doesn't mean other people haven't honestly Ninja gaiden has been one of the if not the very inspiration that sparked never sought to create the soulsborne games if you actually go back all the way to the NES you'll even find a few Ninja gaiden games there
Ninja gaiden might’ve inspired other games but I doubt it inspired the soulsborne games. You could argue that it inspired Sekiro but that’s about it
Well yes that's true I'm talking about more like indirect inspiration you know
@@thehungrymage4846 wdym by that
@@CJDNMB simply put think of it as the concept of Gotham City being yes a direct reference but also indirect inspiration because all it shares is a namesake
for the yellow orbs; if you charge the hard attack and absorb 1, you can chargw it faster...
you will come across MORE WEAPONS AND NINPO, as long as you explore the areas a bit...
if you dont wanna get too stuck, you need to look at some of his abilities of what he can do...and LEARN IZUNA DROP!!!!!
I like how every first few videos of a new series Afro just has a massive trust issue with us.
7:43 "so the black dudes are beefy, i see..." man you got me down on the damn floor with that
I must have been Einstein with the way I beat these games as a kid lol
Oh you can buy talisman of rebirth , the max you can have is 3 but they are expensive Af they Res you as long you have them.

Yo afro. Those orbs u collect are called Karma. Blue restores health, yellow is money, red is ki(ninpo)
The reason u hit that crazy move earlier is because u charged an attack while gathering karma, that speeds up ur charge time AND gives u a crazier move. Think about it like knocking chakra orbs out of ur enemy in the Storm games
Also, upgrade ur weapons. The "izuna drop" combo u get with the dragonsword is a 1 shot Kill. And it looks like Rock lees primary lotus.👍🏾
You mean primary lotus looks like Izuna Drop right??? 😂
@@durtburglar337
Damn, which came 1st?
Also, maybe that means pains planetary devistation/kamui was a copy of ryus void ninjutsu too
@@chriss.249 The Izuna Drop's origin began in the 1969 manga called Ninpu Kamui Gaiden OP (The Legend of Kamui).

First time playing I didn't realize until the Ghost Fishes....

15:00 . Lol I love him not realizing this room has 80 enemies in it just for trolling haha. It's not a normal room hah
As someone who has beatin' this game from normal to master ninja 4 times in my life I can tell you all...afro is not playing this game right.
I think what's even funnier is that when he 'learns how to play this, I think he will get addicted to it for life
Fire wheel is so important for countering ghost piranhas hahaha
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
*Me too, bro.
10:51 As long as it is about a familiar character from the previous Disney movies like Buzz Lightyear then I will always watch those movies.
11:56 finally does the charge attack by accident 🤣😂😅
Afro, use the orbs to charge your ult. 2 yellow or 1 blue or 1 red will bring your charge to level 2. Use the orbs dropped by enemies to spam charge moves. Use them tactically instead of just collecting them.
And when you charge the attack the orbs get drawn to you
Afro if you hold block and move in a direction you'll do a dodge roll, combine that with pressing x and it'll make your movement cleaner and so so much faster.
NOOOO MUST SKIIIIP!"
Jesus Christ.
For anyone who has played Ninja Gaiden, 13:15 is the timestamp you are looking for this chapter.
I think a big thing you should do is utilizing those charge attacks. When you hold down triangle you can absorb the health/currency and unleash your charged attacks faster! Keep in mind this will take away the heal!
Afro hearing the Uzumaki Chronicles music in this series made me want you to make an uzumaki chronicles series, particularly the first one!
Afro I hope you see this cuz this is very important
Learn how to use the ON LANDING CHARGE which is when you have essence in the air you jump and the moment your feet touch the ground hold triangle and it will do a immediate charge for your ultimate techniques and grab that essence in the air to give you a more powerful version. Also don’t listen to people the roll plus’s jump is extremely useful if you do it constantly to close distances. as someone who has beaten these on the hardest difficulty I bid you good luck
I was drinking when he opened the chest and jumped off the map and spat all my drink out laughing 😂
The pain that came outta my mouth when you left that potion at 4:43
Edit: alright you saved it. I take it back
I find it cute how Naruto is trying to save Ryu in the thumbnail.
Watching this gives me so much nostalgia to being a kid playing this with my friends. Love your content man!
Hey Afro charge up your attack longer with the yellow orbs!!! That’s how you get those combo’s going. This game was super ahead of it’s time in that respect. Hope your doing well Senju sir! You are amazing man!
