Tip for Afro: You can double jump over the delayed charge attack that helped me a lot when I defeated that green bastard. Hope this tip helps
You can side dodge it too. Not the full on roll though.
Also charged shots interrupt the red attacks but afro should use it at times that he cant dodge
@@butterflymage5623 Yeah, but the timing window for double jumping over it is much larger than trying to side dodge since the attack wont track you in the air.

For frog you have to jump over a bunch of his moves rather than dodging.

I must say, its always hysterical that AfroSenju goes into any situation overconfident and then quickly panics as things becomes difficult. Then they were followed by intense rage and leading to the infamous "uninstall game", only for him to reinstall and return to the game later on. A vicious cycle if you will.

I literally never rage at a game, and I don't understand how people get so worked up over them. It I keep losing at a boss battle I just play a different game and come back when I'm in the mood.
Just a bit of advice, I used blaster stance the entire game and it is crazy strong, but you should rely more on charged shots than normal ones. Charged shots can stagger and then while they're staggered you hold the attack button to close the distance super fast, that's why the first swing is a poke. Also, each shot does damage to enemies stagger bar so you can break someone's guard super fast with the gun
I’ll have to try that and with some skill point investment. I couldn’t get jiggy with the base moveset

@@mattmalone2000 and then if you add the electric charged shock it’s an aoe stun so it’s legit the best stance imo best range management and best util stance
Tips: Double Jump the Leaping attack
If you do a charge shot in blaster stance it can stun him even out of unblockables, but only the standard charge shot one.
You cannot stagger him by parrying his entire bar, it regenerates faster than you can attack.

Also, there is a force echo challenge where you fight two.
Also dual wielding is good for cancelling attacks to be able to react.

Richochet shot will stun as well and it works great if you accidentally bring droids down into the fight because you can wipe them in one shot
Ultimate guide:
1. Double Jump the delayed charge
2. Use your xp as a free stim
3. ABUSE lightsaber throws,they add up.
4. Become a parry god for those normal bites he does so they fill your force bar enabling you to abuse #3.
5. Have fun😭
6. Become used to jumping as a staple form of evasion just as regular dodging is.
And against all the stupid strong mega fauna that’s on grandmaster, use confusion a shit load and get others to do your work.
That’s my main complaint, is that the enemy design isn’t on the level of FromSoftware games like grandmaster has just made the enemies do insane damage and have insane health. By the end of the game I was kinda frustrated with the combat, bosses were still fun tho.

That toad is bigger threat to Jedi than Vader himself
3 things- 1. You can double jump over the delayed lunge attack 2. Don't become over relying on the jump to dodge, the quick bite that's unblockable will punish you hard if you jump then. 3. There's a shortcut door at the end of the path before you see the platform with a bunch of droids so you can just go to the left when ziplining up there rather than running all the way around

Yo Afro! one of the things the game doesn't tell you about blaster stance is that the follow up shots go into the combos, they can't be parried, are usually free damage, and definitely an amazing strategy when playing aggressive against block meters (for example, pressing attack: shoot: attack: shoot will do more towards a meter and will not get you parried by the more advanced enemies)
I think the big reason as to why Afro's not really liking the gun stance is because he's not using the gun with his combos. He kind of has them separate from each other which is not really the point.
Exactly. Coupled with the right perks, the damage is insane on the blaster stance. Alternating blade with blaster attacks does so much posture damage, I've stun locked enemies who have guard with it.
Someone else already mentioned the blaster stance is good to stagger enemies, but the thing I used it most for was its parry; just straight-up Bloodborne style. The blaster parry not only parries attacks, but does AOE damage and can even let you i-frame/block your way through some unblockable/red attacks. Mind you, I was playing on PC, so those particular blocks could have been due to framerate and lag issues
Pro tip: mix blaster shots in between your saber attacks, and also unlock the dash strike (hold square) asap. Great skill for closing the distance.
You can use those 2 dudes above the oggdo arena to get him rly low. You can pull them down to you then open the hatch, they usually get like 3/4 of his health
I've pulled the droids and the hammer bros down there before and the frog never even looked at them and I all of a sudden was in a 1v7
@@iiitechnoduckxx3526 not if you stay up top. If you jump in there with em then yeah he gon eat your ass, but if you just watch from above they really scrap wit each other. The two hammer guys get oggdo to like 1/3 health

Hey Afro just letting you know that if you want the gun blade to feel better use a skill called point blank in the blaster tree it makes it to where if you time the button press just before someone hits you you'll unload around right into their face right is there about to hit you and do double damage of what the normal blaster can do and it pierces through their defense meter so they can't block it they can easily do half the health bar of a really spongy enemy not bosses by the way

Took me 2 hours, with 8 scrims, and twice his health bar on Grand Master lol. This frog is RIDICULOUS
For those who are having trouble you can use charge shot to interrupt his unblockable moves. Crossguard works really well to.
Afro, you can double jump over every frog move except the one where he comes up on two legs to bite. Also, the charged gun shot makes this fight a breeze. Mid double jump you can charge a shot (hold triangle), release it (it stuns the frog), and then get a free hit in while it’s stunned. Makes the fight easier. Also, as the gun doesn’t require force to use, be sure to throw your lightsaber with the single blade stance when you’re safe. Good luck and just know, there is a harder boss fights that’s twice as difficult as this one :) love the content!
Ngl, this game has made me 15% more racist to frogs
The difference is the fact that we no longer have force slow. Cal's been nerfed so his slow is now an ultimate rather than an ability. I remember in the last game force slow allowed us to get some free hits in but in this game you have to wait ages for the ultimate meter to fill up.

@@droveraccoon the bite can be jumped over too you just need to double jump over him. air time is the core of the dodging so time the second jump to maximize height- unless you mean the non red one which you can parry

Get aggressive with the toad. You being up close and dodging is the right play. Also duel wielding and throwing the saber does so much damage because it hits the toad twice if you throw it up close. Hella helped me.

Double blade let’s u reflect every blaster shot back at enemies it’s huge wit bosses. That and the darth maul spin dash to help close the distance and do a ton of damage u can spam it

You can actually open up the shortcut in the frog's boss room before you beat him. Makes it a lot faster to fight and re-fight him.

You can get an upgrade that does auto dodge, kinda of like dual saber auto parry. It's in the survival or force skill tree

You can force pull both of the 2 raiders up top, lead them over to the trap, double jump when it activates, and the 2 of them will fight “spawn of oggdo” for you as you’re just sitting up top watching them

the strat for me was to clear the blaster mag and then get hits before getting the light to refill heath and mag to do it again, the switch to double blade and parry/slow hit, definitely had to come back to it though, he’s the true final boss after the story

just so you know, you can shoot the blaster in between swings in your saber combo to get the most out of the blaster stance, if u use it like how I use it, u can play very aggressively with it and still be able to back off and play from range when you’re weak

I shit you not, I was re playing fallen order and that frog boss on the first world took me a day and a half to beat. Figuring out it’s timing and attack patterns was so annoying. I felt your pain when u was struggling in beginning. Much love Afro❤.
you should jump that attack + you can unlock the door on the way to the frog so you will have little shortcut
Probably doesnt matter now but a good tip for the entire game that i didnt see in the comments, you can parry most of the red attacks with the force parry ability(dont know if it is the actual name )you can find it in the force skill tree and get it pretty early.
Also i recommend a focus force build it pretty fun and makes you feel powerfull

Extremely helpful advice that I didn’t get until late-game: Double-Bladed Stance will be your best friend against blaster enemies like the Bounty Hunter. You just have to parry the first shot and it will reflect all of their shots that aren’t unblockable back at them. It can also do this for multiple enemies simultaneously. By the end of the game my final stance combination was Blaster and Double-Bladed. I had an answer to 1v1, ranged enemies, bosses, groups of enemies, and blaster spammers with this strategy.
Double blade really saved my ass when I got Shadow of Yharnamed all of a sudden in the Phon'Qi Caverns.
What I used to do to get back to the boss, was take the shortcut through the tubes, howling push the droids that are over the trap door, and blast the remaining 3, 1 shot each

Tip for that one: The ledge above the trapdoor has two heavies, force pull them down to your level, then get on the opposite side of the open trapdoor and force pull the heavies down there. Do it for both. They'll start fighting him and soften him up, and since they get him to come out into the open, you can drop strike him. Then drop down and try not to get one shotted. May the force be with you.

If you can get the trap door open without falling in usually run to the center or point until it opens and jump back to the side you can actually force pull the hammer guys down into the whole by standing on the edge and pulling them and they’ll fight the frog for you

Use the push force when they blink red
For the frog. You can pull the shock guys from the upper ledge before falling into the pit. If you stand in the right spot they will fall into the pit with the frog and damage him to half health before they die. Alternatively if you want to cheese it. Pull them into the pit. Jump down open the doorway while they are all distracted and just throw your lightsaber at the frog until he dies.

Watching Afro struggle with that frog is giving me PTSD, bro. Died more to that thing than any other boss. Went through a whole training arc before I got back to it and it still fucked me up. And then that force tear? No thanks, bro... this game testing me.
There’s a visual cue as well when the frog does that attack. If you watch it’s face inflates when charging up and it pounces once it’s cheeks have deflated. Hope this helps!
