Loved seeing how giggly he was reminiscing. Always smile when Wrighty is on camera!
Good to hear him speak fondly of Palace.
Supported Liverpool all my life. But loved Wrighty. Wrighty = Black football Icon & legend.
*English
If he was white would you of said white football icon? No! So why the hell comment on a man’s complexion? It’s coz it’s all you see right? Yea we know 😏
Ian Wright is proper legend and one of my heroes even though I’m a United fan
What a man!! I’m chelsea but he is a different hero he is for me the main man
It’s touching to see how emotional he is reliving this experience. He’s a pretty likable guy!
Such lovely Story well done Ian Wright
Back in the day when football excited us a whole lot more.
(because there was on TV or the pub and no TV in your pocket and no 57 million channels with 24/7 football)
God remember this like it was yesterday,im a liverpool fan they beat us in an epic semi, gutted they didnt win it.
Ian Wright Wright Wright
I like Ian Wright brilliant player for Arsenal.
Should have had more England Caps.
Am man utd fan but I love this guy
Eagles 🦅 Eagles 🦅
I can't believe Wright and shearer in the other programme put Roy Keane number one never
Shame there was final replays. Stupid idea.
You ignore in 1990, man utd were totally rubbish, and if man utd had lost this final, alex ferguson probably would of been sacked
His first 5 years at man uts were a disaster
Man utd playing in this final, was playing for fergies future, as he would not of had one if they had lost to palace
Wrighty leaves out, there really was not that much difference between the two sides at that time
Palace certainly had a chance, so it was not a total shock they put in a decent effort that day
Good for him he remembers who gave him that start, not many black players appreciate how many people would of helped them get to where they are.
Good for ian
