I worked 60 hour work weeks for about 6 months and my room mate would often joke saying I had a patrick Bateman face while walking around my apartment. You either get too serious, develop a bad habit, or crack like an egg

17-18 hour days are nothing. I regularly put in about 30 hour days EASILY. You just ain't grinding hard enough

Out of necessity or boredom. Some days there's nothing else to do, you got too much energy and if you don't work you're anxious.
