This is true and all the people saying it sounds more mystical and ethereal are only saying that because they don't recognize the language. If they grew up with Arabic and didn't know English and heard it in English, they would say the same thing. Songs pretty much always sound best in the original language they were written for.

Arabic poetry has always been my favorite over English poetry so I'm biased, and this song sounded a lot like a gorgeous poem with a gorgeous sound to go with it. the English version is cool but not quite as breathtaking
as someone who speaks fluent Arabic and English, I actually think that Arabic does sound better due to the fact that there's some letters and sounds in the Arabic language that don't exist in the English language that sounds and gives a much more ethereal and mystical sound than the English language. but we all have different opinions and that's okay 👍
