I'm an Arab and this song meant so much to me when I was a child and now listening to this triggers my childhood memories. It's crazy how your voice sounds exactly like the singer from the arabic version. Good job y'all.
@@nehemiasg.a6573what do you mean arabian nights is not arab, should I teach some grammar now, arabian nights means the nights of arabs people. Another information, arab people existed always from a long time, they're not existed with islam. Please learn some history and then start talking about facts.
The choir arrangement, wicked chuckling and the harmonies knocked this out of the park. The middle part reminded me of Mireille Matthieu's paris de tango.
I don't understand why the singer left the chorus to the choir; they should be supporting him rather than replacing him. The chorus fell weak as a result and the song lost what could've been much a more powerful delivery. The lead vocalist sounds more than capable of those notes!
I think theybwere trying to make to a dialogue between the lead and the choir. Something that's commons in many middle Eastern and South Asian music traditions. But then you need a strong choir to belt it. And here they lacked it a bit
Neat, but I cannot lie: I miss Robin Williams’ wonderful “Arabian accent” for this. The inclusion of the rhythmic change and Arabian melodic lines at the end is inspired. Nice job, all!
the first time I saw performers wearing normal clothes while in the orchestra is in the A whole New World behind the scenes of the original Aladdin movie
I know that it's such a small detail, but the little hand gesture at 2:25 when the xylophones begin playing just absolutely made the performance to me by giving it far more life. Exceptional music is amazing, and your rendition of the song absolutely does it performance. But when you see the band members themselves having a good time when they perform, that's when you know something magical is truly happening.
I've never watched aladdin but I like the songs and I absolutely LOVE ❤ this arrangement of this song. Everything fits so well: the orchestra, the choir, Julius' voice and acting when he isn't singing. I watch this every das several times and never get bored 🤩🤩
Everyone is So fantastic it's hard to believe ...the solo narrator and singer, the ensemble singers, perfect and enthusiastic orchestra, and the best and clearest possible conductor! I rreally enjoyed this!
Absolutely unbelievable how you pulled that off Lina, seeing you and Julius totally captivated, the amount of effort it takes, and your appreciation to everyone at the end. Words can't describe this performance.
I can’t stop listening to this! The lead singer is brilliant and the choir throughout the piece is so mesmerizing, especially at 2:57. The build up at 3:27 gave me complete goosebumps and the way the conductor conducts the piece is so fun 🤩 great job!
Your version of Arabian Nights is just fantastic. The singer not only has a great voice, he is also a great storyteller. The choir is phenomenal. Greetings from Türkiye!
Absolutely amazing! So many talented people at one place is just unbelievable. The guy who's doing the lead voice is really really really good, but everyone is doing an amazing job! Thanks so much for this masterpiece.
julius (the singer) his voice and his facial expression are like so majestic for some reason it feels like we are actually in arab and he is the native from there
I don't have words. This is pure perfection. I am obsessed with this masterpiece. ❤ It is also great to see that the performers enjoy themselves. I hope in future there will be other videos like this.

Miss Kuipers. You held that wonderful cacophony together as a good Conductor does. I do not know your facility nor faculty well as I live in another part of the planet; Australia. I am a former Int. Operatic Tenor, now in my very late fifties. de Bruin is actor good but for me the young chorus man with the Mennonite beard is a standout: superb and clean with his voice. From my hearing he could sing a note at he equator and be met by the same vowel structure. His voice is clean, pristine and just powerful; yet in control. His subject, unless voice, will not matter in comparison; if allowed to follow voice. Nee Opera. I would like to hear his upper chest-register in a solo like de Bruin performed. PLEASE do not take to heart my lack of applause for you or Mr. De Bruin. The two of you are fulfilled. All that is needed for long careers is faith from other people. …The ones’ with the production monies. This other fellow will be lost within the Choral structure and that will be a great loss to the World. Five notes I heard him sing. This is enough for me to vomit praise upon this Human. ❤😊😊😊… More videos please from you. I wish for you and de Bruin lots of happy musical times with fulfilment for you both. 😊
It is a real magic, trully splendid, i have no words to say how this make me fell included in the show. Congratulations and beggin with this beuatiful work, this is so exciting!! I really love and wanto more videos from you and your orcheast.
Love it! Actually considered going to the HKU for a few months, really great to see what kind of performances you're able to put on. I've played Aladdin the musical with my school orchestra a few years back as oboist, was definitely an unforgettable experience!

I was waiting so much for the lead singer to sing the chorus😭
i think he cant get that much of a high note
he can't reach the high note
i dont know why but this is very AMAZING! im here listen this almost every day. good job!
That is such a big compliment! 🤩
love life music like this with beautiful instruments and singer to match its the best

Imagine the lead singer belting the choruses, it would've been awesome!
Exactly
The choir is off anyways
Such a waste of good singer
Not enough of a voice for that part. Didn't sound so clean even after he joined.
You know the singer doesn’t make the arrangement right? Like just so we’re clear, the conductor is making those decisions.

This song was performed by the Peddler character whose singing voice was Bruce Adler, even if his non-singing voice was Robbin Williams.
I thought the same thing lol.
It's such a breath of fresh air to see people wearing sweaters and jeans for an orchestral presentation. Also, excellent performance! Loved it

So beautiful to see an orchestra having fun in the entire song
1:46 the SUDDEN ABSENCE of sound makes it SO interesting and makes for a really amazing effect! this is beautiful
Why can't I find Julius de Bruin anywhere! A voice like that, he should be famous.

man his voice ................................................is so magestic
What disappoints me was the lead singer didnt sing the chorus.
I was waiting but it did not happen.
His gorgeous voice would sound great in chorus.
Same. Imagine how good it wouldve been..
Yeah that's the point of that part of the song, the lead going loud on that part! anti climatic he didn't sing the best part.
Sometimes it feels like there aren't enough musical instruments, but the guys still did a great job! Excellent, excellent!
It is as if Arabian Nights wispers in your ear! Goosebumps🥶🥶
Did anyone else get goosebumps in this (1:45) part?!
