It's good to see someone kayak fish without thousands of dollars worth of gear on the boat. I have to constantly pair down what I have on mine. Also one tip for kayak fishing, always go into the wind from the ramp if possible. That means it's downwind to get home.
Cool vid! I'm not a kayak guy, but I can see how you could get into some good spots that a boat couldn't. Man that was a beautiful red you got, and I'm with you on the using the casino boats for some Awesome reef material! Sounds like a great Idea!
Heck of a deal on that kayak, great little vessel that looks to be pretty stable! Some of those sheeps down your way seem acrobatic haha good video and cool spot behind those huge boats!
THAT HOOKSET THOUGH!!!! I have had zero luck with the sheepshead around here. Whiting and pomp all day. Looks like Im in the wrong state. Great video. Chill, low key and lots of fish.
I've had the same idea about trying to fish behind them casino boats. They are actually working on the inside of them I've been down there and seen men with their not sure if they are taking stuff out or what. But I like your idea putt them on the bottom of the gulf
Dang, didn’t realize they’ve been there that long. I’m sure their going to do something with them in the next couple years with this project going on fixing up that area
Capt not trying to be funny but did you day an eye sore in the bayou.Around 80 to 100 feet deep would be sweet to sink them.Good luck don't rock to much
Great to see you in a yak, but the most important thing you didn't have was wearing a PFD! Dude water is freezing and if you fell in well you would have ran into survival mode fast..I don't go out in a yak without wearing it the entire time..do as you want but you need something with you..
I would have loved to see the kayak negotiations. Not $20 dollars, not $30 dollars… $27 dollars!
😂😂
I told him he could have it for what he had in his pocket and that was what he had lol
@@barneybosarge8814 I figured there was a story that went with it
Did it come with a no sink warranty?😅
Homie that red was GORGEOUS 🎃🤘
Thanks man, I thought so as well. Gotta love them pumpkin colored reds
"That's a good bite. And I'm serious this time" 😂
Awesome video Captain.
😁 thanks
Good one brother, I think me, you and Nathan need to have a Kayak colab. before long! I have never been on one before, lol!
Lol its pretty sketchy at first not gonna lie, but it was fun!
"And he continues to crap on my pants" 🤣 🤣 🤣
Keep these great vids up, Cap'n!
Lol I couldn’t help but laugh. That dang sheep. Thanks and you know it

Haha Preciate it man. They weren’t no giants like the ones youve been catching but they sure put on a show
@@CaptCollier hey anytime you get consistent action like that it's gonna be a good time!

Hey theres nothing wrong with those species of fish. Some fine eating. Thanks!
@@CaptCollier Yeah this is true but nothing digs like a sheepshead. Even the little ones sometimes feel like monsters.
“You better be glad you ain’t 12 inches buddy” straight killed me 😂🤣
I wanted to put that fish on the stringer so bad !
@@CaptCollier he sure nuff deserved it. Next year you’ll get that one back
Funny! You in the Little Boat!
Those would make awesome wrecks!
Haha whatever works right?? I think so too. they could sell them to the state and let them disperse them out in the gulf
10:50 was a funny lookin crappie
Haha Yes it was
Nice. Try to keep from bumping kayak off sea wall …as example… that scares snook for about 300 feet in every direction …GL
State docks in Alabama wont say where but i have caught some huge reds here now that the add the jetties
Awesome. I feel that those jetties will attract some good fish
Enjoy your videos brother, keep up the good work!
I appreciate you watching, will do!
Nice vid bro love them sheep good way to get in there to them. But not enough boat for me 🤣👍
Haha thanks, I can understand that.
Now that’s a friend 🤣
haha He hooked me up
gas prices got you paddling
Times are getting tough
That looked like a lot of fun
It was a nice change from the boat fishing for sure!
@@CaptCollier I know how hard those fish pull on a regular boat. I bet you were bumping around in between those barges!!!
Stealth on the kayak
Another pro !
I've always wondered about those Casinos.
They need to do something with them for real
Injoyed video, have any idea who to contact about casino boats.
Thanks, and honestly I don’t know

Yea I thought they were taking everything out. I guess they still don’t know what they gonna do with them though
17ft. Canoe is as small as ill go , couldn't pay me to get in one of those kayaks . Nice little spot though , deserves more exploration 👍👍🇺🇸
Haha I completely understand. For sure
This March wind is definitely tough
So Tough! Hard to get out and fish where i want too
Fun way to fish.
Thanks, I genuinely enjoyed that excursion
Amazing vid
Sure he ain't a crappie.. 😂.. nice video thanks for the content..
Haha the crappie ive caught in the past were even bigger than that poor baby sheep Lol
Thanks for the invite 😂 jk looked like a good time
My bad bro, I had to break the ice in it first. Didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of a professional 😅
I heard that they were scrapping it. Keep the inshore videos coming.
coctent and beautiful videos
Those boats have been there for 5-6 years. Master boats owns them but no plans for moving them.

Yes I did. They have just been sitting there for years…they even damaged the docks and launch when they broke loose from the last hurricane we had.

I agree with you. If i was any further from land id definitely have one
Man I fished this exact same spots last Saturday and didn’t catch shit
Hey it happens. This video was actually from late February
👍
I wouldn’t do that to you lol
For some reason I think you would, ya know…for good video Lol
It’s Barney !
Think I will pass on kayak fishing due to fat boys and kayaks don’t mix 😂 loving the different types of content though.
Haha i heard that. I was skeptical about being in it myself. No sudden movements!
