Imagine buying a bowl just to break it, ha ha ha! When my son started making ceramics, the initial pieces were ghastly. I told him to keep a few early ones, but break the rest up. So he would stand on the second floor balcony and drop them on the pavement. They would go BANG and explode and it was great therapy! We did not mind the cleanup. It was fun to see them explode. In a year, he was making beautiful wares so we did not have to break them anymore.
This is so creative. I have a broken Talavera flowerpot, very colorful pattern. Ideal for pendants! Thank you!

For YEARS I've gone to Dollar 🌲 or Goodwill and picked up dishes and glasses and whipped them into a dumpster to hear them break....GREAT for stress relief....but I never thought to keep and use the pieces. Love this idea!

Just found your channel. I love the variety of arts and crafts, and it's fascinating to witness your thought-process as you make your pieces. Love the humour and your fearlessness in letting your unique personality shine through. I have arts and crafts adhd as well, and can't stick to just one form of art. I thought that was an issue until just now, when I found your beautiful channel full of ALLLL the crafts! And your creations are so unqiue and lovely! Thank you for helping me see the light ^-^

OMG! I have already done this and this plate's colors are so pretty! I bought foil tape to wrap the sides with to give a finished look to it but sanding def works. Tile nippers work great for more control of breaking where the design is that you might want in your jewelry.
