The best and cleanest way I found is to pierce a small hole on each pin with a thin nail, pass through the hole with the wire from behind and then solder and secure the whole with electrician tape, very clean, easy and secure

Well, that's a great idea! I have never thought of soldering wires and strips in this way. This is for sure very secure way to have them fixed together all the time. Thx, I will try it in my next LED project just to see how it works 👍👍👍 thx for sharing your experience!

You should learn how to do soldering. It is fun to watch. But do not take it personally. I truly enjoyed it.

Thank you, I have a long way to go in my soldering craft that is for sure, but practice makes perfection right? Just gotta keep soldering and it will get better. Thx for the encouragement 👍👍

Appreciate the tips & encouragement but you really should clean your soldering iron tip with a brass brush or the likes way more often to get a better solder joint, also don't be scared to use a good amount of flux paste as well! It makes everything so much easier & more melt-y!

Thanks for the tip, I am a little bit lazy with tip cleaning, only when it stops heating up, I get to cleaning it. I do use flux paste but probably not in good enough amounts, will try to be more generous next time. Thank you for your tips 👍👍
