Thanks for the help bud, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't write to my radio. After seeing your recommendation about using the VOX version of the software, I am up and running. Much appreciated. Cheers!
When I follow the directions for the chirp software on the spreadsheet, I have all of the frequencies and offsets set properly. When I go to upload it to the radio it uploads everything except the frequencies for every channel. All channels end up the same 145.470. Why will the frequencies from the spreadsheet not upload to the radio properly?
Good video. Any difference in the programming of the Retevis vs Anytone version? Looking to buy a couple, and with a $30 price difference, wondering if the Anytone is different in any way.
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones I have seen these cables before. I did not realize it was a cable problem I thought it was the software. I will probably manually program the radio or load Win 10 as a virtual os and use the common cable.

Chirp needs chirp
@ what’s that mean? I have done this several times in the past with no problem.

No difference but RETEVIS give good service .
Could you dumb it down a bit. I'm unfamiliar with this kind of technology but I am trying to learn. Thanks for your work. I enjoy your videos.
Hi yes I have made about 50 Videos on this set .
Has anyone found a programming cable that works with Windows 11 and Chirp? The only thing I found cost $40 to $50. For a $120 radio? Insane!
