I think that this short horror movie was pretty interesting, with some really creepy scenes, pretty good camera and directing work, and beautiful locations. The plot did left me kind of confused though, but maybe that was the point; to make you think, wonder. I think that the protagonist/victim might have had a premonition about his dead; or he was killed at the beginning and he relived the last moments of his life in his mind while dying; or maybe he died in a skiing accident and the "killer" was a metaphor for death, that he dreamed of while dying. I really like watching these short horror movies on RUclips-a great chance for new filmmakers to put up their work and show their talent. As an aspiring filmmaker myself, that is a real encouragement. Congratulations on the award. Keep up the good work. You are talented. I will definitely watch the rest of your videos.
Mislav I think your theories are very plausible and actually helped me understand this excellent short. As for the offering itself - compelling, enjoyable in a dreadful way, and hoping to see more production at this level. Outstanding!
I am left wondering 3 things: 1. Why would someone go snowboarding [sic] ALONE in a dangerous environment like the one shown? and 2. Why would a man be in that environment carrying a shotgun, with the intent to kill people, who in any case would not be very numerous, if any at all, and 3. The dog is apparently friendly, or is it? A video like this leaves me wondering what's the point, if any, of the story. Many of the short videos I have watched appear to have no point to them, other than to demonstrate a certain condition, such as apocalyptic [sic] conditions.

The photography and scenery are absolutely beautiful. İ am not sure İ quite understood the story. The dog seemed pretty helpful at first, showing him where he had died but later on he chased him down and either the dog killed him or the wierdo guy, but then he wasn't quite dead at the end was he?
This was very well done. Everything about it seemed like a feature film. The acting, sound, cinematography. Some commenters think anyone a bit confused is stupid so I guess I’m stupid. He wakes up from the snowboarding accident, sky is now overcast, follows the dog to his dead body, gets chased by man with gun, gets shot. This is supposed to be a premonition? Then he wakes again, sky is clear blue this time as when he began his day, once in the car, sky turns overcast, can’t start the car, walks to the road, sees the man, dog & gun, man frees dog to chase & attack him, man walks up to his bloody body then proceeds to bury him. Not exactly same as first scene so yeah I’m bit confused but I still enjoyed it. The blood in the snow disappearing and reappearing was a nice touch. Excellent film, keeps you guessing. Why did the man want him dead? Note to self, never snowboard alone.

The sound design and cinematography was so good that while watching this in my bed, in Florida, I damn near froze to death. In most movies you're a spectator, with this one, I felt as though I walked side by side with the victim. Also,I could have done without the microphone in or on the shoes.

This was absolutely a terrifying short . He goes down and you think it's coming now but no . Starts to drag and WOW ! So not the norm but so good .

Arogoni, Manca, the first thing I noticed is the PERFECT sound: the crunch of the snow, the wind through the valley and icy trees! Truly, PERFECT! And Arogoni and Cuboni, the cinematography was commanding! Natali, again, no other word will do: perfect!
I am BEYOND impressed with this production in every way! The actors, the dog, the timing, sound, visuals, suspense, even that we are left wondering...
My God! This is a masterpiece! Bravo!
I also love how dog becomes man, man becomes dog, in the double super-imposing of the hunter’s fur collar and the face of that beautiful dog.
So MANY moments like this! I kept taking screen-shots of those powerful images.

alessio cuboni's editing deserves special praise on this but the entire production was very well done. I bet filming up in those beautiful mountains was a real challenge. but there's no motivation. this film just teaches you to fear strangers. that's kind of a pessimistic message. thanks for the film.

The sound and camera work is especially good. I almost felt the cold crisp snow , and felt that howling wind in my hair , I was so immersed in the perfect clarity .
*SPOILER ALERT *
It's a beautifully shot simple story of a premonition. The guy has a dream about the circumstances of his own death while he is knocked out. When he finally wakes up for real , he goes to leave but his frozen car won't start , as he walks for help the characters from his dream appear and everything he saw in his dream happens.
I don't understand why tbere are so many comments saying the plot was confusing and hard to understand etc . It's a straight forward story of a man seeing his own death in a dream.

You know why it’s convincing? ... because only a millennial will go all alone way deep into the mountains with no supplies/tools at that, and before a snowfall.

I tried to grasp the theme of this shorto. If we try to understand it as abstract art the 2 years back Mislava has given good explanation. Otherwise, it seems a pointless ghastly shorto with good picturization. Respects from Pakistan.🙏

Are there any horrors on You tube that aren't humans killing humans? I came here only because it's so warm and I wanted to see snow,beautiful scenery and if I were into this kind of horror at the moment I would watch it,I will save it for when I am into it.:)

That's 16 minutes and 42 seconds of my life I'm not getting back....
Shoot every scene, number them, pop the numbers in a hat, pull out the numbers at random, that's the sequence you edit the film as, and voila, one award coming your way!
The snow barder was stupid for going off alone. Probably didn't even tell anyone where he was going. He should have had some survival gear with him, including some protection. The shooter was insane- there was no sane reason to kill the young man.
Unless the shooter fancied himself to be some sort of a protector or caretaker of the wild and did not want people spoiling the pristine environment.

I liked seeing all the blood in the snow. I also liked the blood red color of the all caps text against the white background. Creepy but awesome! Lastly i also like that there's no talking and just the horror music. Nice one! Good job guys. Keep it up.

This broke my heart. Theres enough violence in the world. Didnt expect a snow boarder to get killed because he was at the wrong place, wrong time. while the scenery was beautiful, I didn't like the ending at all.

Very pretty, but I dont think I understand the plot at all. Could someone please explain to me what is going on here?
Pretty sure that the first event, in which he finds himself dead, is like a premonition, a foreshadowing of his death - like Final Destinations 1-4 (or however many there are).
The second event is him actually being killed.
Open for debate , personally I feel that the only reason for this plot is for the film maker to show his skills , a C.V. you might say. A murder seen through the eyes of the victim , a killing seen through the eyes of the dog , lots of beautiful editing. It was very well made in reality but I don't think any focus was given to the storyline.
+Tyler Mabry he is in hell reliving a horrific death over and over, stumbling upon his corpse as a ghost, running from the evil or devil or demon just to have his ghost self killed then wake up and fall on the slope then try the car then get killed over and over. The white is hell I think

Liked it a lot but his fall did not look so bad to me. Idk! Just how it looked to me kind of. I am probably wrong. Also he was not even going downhill it was like almost flat or I am just not viewing the mountian correctly and being to analytical sorry but otherwise I enjoyed it very much!

He had a dream about his own death when he was knocked out , which really happens when he wakes up and goes to his car which won't start Premonition.
I wonder if they deliberately cut out the third scene when he comes back as the killer....like the version of the twilight zone when the killer has a go as himself...then the lawyer...then the juror and then the judge....finding himself guilty all the time....just a thought

I didn't like it. It made no sense to me. What they bad guy hates snow, boarders?
The only award that I would bestow upon this masterpiece, is the coveted "Best Way to Completely Waste Seventeen Minutes of Your Life".
Awesome cinematography & i must agree it's all up to the viewer to figure it out . A few things i found odd was this guy should have been o a novice hill as he really was not a good snowboarder to fall on such a simple jump plus most boarders know to go with someone along as it can be rather dangerous even for those that are really good . As he's not broken his neck a leg injury won't kill you & i saw no head trauma . So was it a dream , no i think not but it is possible . Strange set of events as he woke up & things just went bad from there on . I have to wonder if the killer & dog were death i/m not sure why so terrible as he did nothing but go boarding & that was a terrible way to end up dead when you end up far from where you started & i will go with the last bit as a metaphor for being covered by snow but in what was left of his dream was to be blasted & buried . many lessons to be learned for us ,for him he has learned the hard way.

A point to the story would have been nice....the footage, the acting, were too good for the story to, ultimately, flat-line in the end.
