You can get more views and likes if 90% of your videos shows the home theater while you spean the background. This video shows 70% you seated on some chair and no offense, but you are not a hot chick for us to look at, you are not a Klipsch home theatre either.
You sound like you have RUclips all figured out. I've never seen those statistics in my RUclips analytics. I went to your channel to see how it's done, but to my disappointment, I didn't find any of your vidoes. With 111,000 subscribers and 25 million channel views, I'd say I'm doing something right. But thanks for the advice.
@@Youthman I am not your supervisor or boss. I am not a RUclips professional. I am not a competitor. I am your customer. I wanted to see Klipsch and get info for shopping. I got frustrated when you video was a top recommendation but mostly showed you instead of the home theater. No offense was intented. You can ignore my customer feedback if the opposite is overwhelmingly supported by viewers.
I don’t take offense to your comments, I just don’t agree with them. Before making my comment, I went back and watched the video and within the first two minutes they’re 13 Broll shots. Unfortunately, you likely will not ever see a video of mine with 90% Broll. Masala videos will certainly not be for everyone. I have learned over the years, if you try to please everyone, you’ll end up pleasing no one. Have a great week.
Thank you Youthman, just like most guys, I do not have a dedicated theatre room. Most of us here in Nairobi have our systems in the living room. Enjoying my SVS all round system.
Great video! I actually bought an entire MK1 9.2.6 setup for my HT, but before I even opened a single box (because my HT wasn't done being built), the MK2's came out. SO, I sold every speaker I had and ended up with an RF-7 III LCR, RP-600M II FW and BS, RP-502S II SS, and the PRO-180 in-ceiling speakers. An amazing all Klipsch 9.2.6 setup, and it's reviews like this that initially got me excited about that Klipsch sound. The speakers look and sound amazing. Thanks Michael!
The RP line fits right into that sweet spot of bang-for-the-buck. To get a better sound than the RP you would have to spend a lot more money. The 1%ers are always looking for that money no object Holy Grail of sound, but for the 98% of us, there's the RP system. Great review as always Michael. You covered all the bases.
🤣🤣🤣 we have fun together. Yes, I have on over 50 pair of Klipsch speakers over the years. I actually made a video about it. - ruclips.net/video/TCmhJA17kK0/видео.html
There is still love in Youthman's heart for Klipsch. Always will be. JTR is like your child who becomes a doctor. Klipsch is like your child who becomes a highly regarded chiropractor. You love them both the same but you tend to talk a little more glowingly about the actual doctor🤣😅
Absolutely will always have love for Klipsch. I still recall many days as a teenager going to sound advice just to listen to them, never realizing that one day I would ever be able to afford any pair much less 50 pair (granted most of those were Youthman Deals from the used market). Your analogy is hilarious lol.
Haha, love the analogy. My very first setup was Klipsch, and when I built my dedicated home theater, I bought another set of Klipsch. I do want to "upgrade" to something else, but I'm happy at the moment. I know there's much better out there...
Considering you can pick up Klipsch for about half of MSRP if you wait for sale and clearence they are a great value. The old wifes tales about the bright Klipsch sound don't apply anymore. I love my RP system.
This is going to sound crazy, but I still remember my first set of Klipsch headphones from 20yrs ago… from the moment I put them in I knew they were special and I’ve been a fanboy since. We recently moved to our “forever home” and am super excited to plan, design, and build our home theater
Awesome! It has been probably over 20 years since I have heard a Pioneer AVR. I love that it has Dirac Live. The app is slick. I’ll have a separate review of it soon.
even if there is no sound setup in a room. accoustik treatment makes it so much nicer to talk to one another. the disturbing sounds are so much less anoying like a vacuum cleaner / espresso machine / hairdryer etc. I would strongly recommend that everyone tries to get something done in their rooms. It really improves the quality of life imo. can be done visually pleasing aswell. just have to get creative.
@@Youthman For a friend of mine we build a Lamp System that lights his living room indirectly while also working double duty as a Basotect Absorber. He has 8 Absorbers connected by diffusors. It coveres around 50% of his ceiling and looks great. You lose 6-8 inches of height but i can see something like that working great in many rooms. Gives a nice Modern Look with Wood accents. The basotect absorbers are in a wooden framed covered by a nice looking cloth. The Diffusors are not calculated as they are angled etc. but well they are better then nothing. The Ceiling is the most problematic thing in most rooms. So it was a big giant upgrade. Also having Basstraps invisible by a shelf that sits in a 45 degree angle against the corners works really well.
Very nice review. Thank you. I have a question. I am planning for 5.1.2 set up including 2 atmos speakers. I like these speakers, but I am wondering if SONY STR AN 1000 receiver can handle this 8 speaker configuration without falling short of needed power. Also i hope this speaker system is not too much for My theatre which is in basement with ceiling of 8.5 feet, and equal length breadth of 16 feet. Your thoughts? Thank you for making these reviews and answering questions.
I just added the RP 500 SA Dolby Atmos speakers to what I currently have in my setup. I have a couple of questions. Here is my setup: Denon 4700 Klipsch R-625FA Dolby Atmos Floor stand speakers Klipsch RP- 504C II center channel Klipsch R-41M Bookshelf speakers Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer Does this make my setup a 5.1.4 or 7.1.2?
Cool - this is my choice of speakers. Ordering soon. What do you mean by, "Reference Volume"? Is that like maximum volume, or... is there some kind of recommended volume by the manufacturer?
You should do a test if similarly sized canvas pictures with thick frames would be better for acoustic treatments than having none or as good as having the foam . Maybe stick foam behind the canvas ?
Good morning, Thank you for this test. I would like to ask you if you are familiar with the Tannoy revolution xt6f and xt8f and what do you think of these speakers compared to the Klipsch reference 8000F II or Polk R700. Would it be a good idea to replace the Tannoys with these Klipschs? THANKS
I got the rp 8000, rc 504, sa500 and 4×180 pro for atmos + psa 1812 all running on vsx lx504.... which amp would you recommend for this setup? Keep doing videos for living rooms its very useful for us
That’s a fantastic set up Nimrod! I’m glad you found the living room set up helpful. Looking to do more content in in it. If you were looking to add an amplifier, there are a lot of great options (Emotiva, Parasound, Outlaw Audio, Buckeye).
I have a 5.2.4 home theater system. Denon avr - x4500h receiver, 1 Klipsch R-34C center, 2 Klipsch R820's left and right , 2 R-51M side speakers, 4 svs atmos top speakers. I would like to add a 3 channel amp to improve my stereo and surround sounds could you recommend a good priced amp. My avr is 125w at 2ch 8ohm. the Emotiva basx is at 140w for the 3 channel. The XPA-3 is nice but much more expensive. Could you give me your recommendation?
I’m new to this HT stuff and loved the review. I’m seriously thinking the RP8000F II series for my large wide open man cave basement HT/rocking (1000sqft - 20 x 50). Not sure this is a fair question but, will I appreciate a sound difference built on the JBL HDI series vs the Klipsch RP series?? My local installer says Klipsch but the HT store says JBL HDI series. Huge price difference… is JBL HDI the 1%r’s? I’ll pay the extra if it is that much better or is it just different? I'm thinking the Marantz SR8015 or Denon AVR8500 to drive extra speakers at the other end of the room (pool table + work out area).
Glad you found the video helpful. This video might be helpful as well - ruclips.net/video/M21kRBt28_8/видео.html That series of JBL should be comparable in performance. It’s definitely not the 1%r’s. Just depends on what sound your ears prefer.
When they announce the new Reference Premiere Subwoofers, I asked them directly if the RP 1600 SW was the beast and they confirmed it was not, but it was still in development.
Sir, i was looking to buy latest klipsch reference premiere series speakers for our new home theatre setup. But then a speaker dealer told me that klipsch will sound too harsh and in the long run will create fatigue and even hearing loss, because of the horn tweeters. I know that there has been criticism of the harshness of klipsch speakers, but then in a forum i found that starting from the reference premiere line of speakers, they have been refined to the point that there is almost no harshness unlike their earlier series. And since now there is already the second iteration of the RP series available, would you suggest me to confidently go with new RP line of speakers without worrying of the harshness issue?
I've personally owned over 50 pair of Klipsch speakers - ruclips.net/video/TCmhJA17kK0/видео.html I can tell you the Reference Premiere have a much smoother top end than older Klipsch speakers (like the original RF7's which were EXTREMELY bright...even to me). No one can tell you if a speaker will be too harsh for you. Some like a laid back sound, while others like a speaker that has an elevated top end. I have always enjoyed brighter sounding speakers. With Klipsch, you either love them or hate them. You either enjoy the clarity, detail and dynamics from the horn, or you find them like nails on a chalkboard. I have never found someone in between. But only you can decide which side of the fence you are on. Keep in mind, most dealers sell what they prefer or sometimes what is more profitable for them. The best advice is to go hear them for yourself and let your ears determine what you prefer instead of allowing a dealer to tell you what they think you will like better.
Of course JTR would be the tip of the journey but some of us have to start at the bottom. So right now im rockin bic speakers and 1 emotiva center. I want to have all emotiva speakers before i try to work up to Klipsch or JTR. What do y’all think.
Absolutely nothing wrong with your setup! We are all in different parts of our journey. Mine has been over a 30 year process to get to this point. Like I always say, Enjoy the journey!
My personal preference would be this system but with either Klipsch’s new subs (I haven’t heard them yet) or an SVS sub. The subs they sent for review are discontinued models. But that’s what my ears prefer, but you might like the SVS more. It’s always best to try and hear both to see what you prefer.
Hi sir thank you for your nice explanation. Would you please provide me your thoughts about which is great either svs pb16 ultra or klipsch reference premier 2 subwoofer
I have the full Klipsch RP II line with 2 of their SPL-150 subs. They are fantastic in the small home theater space I’m framing out, I was curious though, what’s the best method for calibrating the setup? Unfortunately I walled off the av cabinet in another room so I can’t run the audyseey configuration that came with my Marantz SR8015 as the cable would need to be very long and run through a wall. Any advice?
I have created an intimate theater in the loft The TV is mounted about 8 feet in front of me and the speakers are about six feet in front of me. I am using a mix of klipsch surrounds mounted about two feet higher than seating position on wall behind couch, klipsch atmos mounted above tv to right and left aiming down at listener and two klipsch 12 inch subs. The center and towers are Polk but I just ordered the klipsch rp 600m mark two to replace the Polk towers and the rp 500 c two center channel With such a small space for the system and having dual 12 inch subs i figure I can easily get away with the 600m as the front left and right channels. Can’t wait for them to arrive and get them set up
Hello Mr Youthman. Is there any benefits to have all your system speakers the very same? ( I have 6 400m speakers as Atmos and surrounds) My main fronts are 8000f. I'm asking you because you're both Klipsch and home theater expert. Do I go with ALL RP 400m and get a better "integration" or is better to stick with my main towers the same. Also if you have the time, can you share what acoustic panel did your wife took from you. ( I have the same restrictions at home😅)This video gives me the idea of maybe I can hang it only when listen to music and took of the rest of time. Thanks for the video and for your time.
That’s a great question. Some of the most immersive systems I have heard had identical speakers all around. Check out Jonathan’s home theater tour here. ruclips.net/video/n6OS7eUYvBQ/видео.html With that said, I personally would rather have RP8000F as my mains Vs RP400M.
Hey love your channel and thank you for your information I love it. I have an older model of Klipsch it’s the synergy series I’m putting it together again and love it but I am interested in upgrading eventually. I am also thinking of getting the reference Dolby atmos speakers to add and putting them on the wall top facing out.
I recently went with Paradigm Premier 800f along with the larger matching center 600c?, and the larger matching bookshelf for rears. Skipped atmos for now as my room is similar to yours but smaller. Almost went with these Klipsch instead but I do love the Paradigms. Curious how they would compare. Love your setup.
I have a very similar setup except I run the RP-8000-f speakers instead of the 8060 but I do have height channels and am running a 7.1.2 with the pioneer VSX-lx-505 and I have to agree the lx-505 does a great job running all those speakers. Recently got the Emotiva XPA 9 channel external amp but honestly I can't hear any difference in sound with or without the amp. Pioneers 505 is a beast of a receiver it's all you really need.
Has Klipsch finally posted what the frequency response is for the elevation speakers? What was with the secrecy on the last model? I know what they do in my room, but I shouldn’t have to buy them to measure them myself 🙄
@@Youthman I think there might have been some miscommunication. I was talking about the RP-500SA (Atmos) speakers. I think you should do a follow up video and show what frequency response that speaker gets in your room on the ‘surround’ setting and the ‘Atmos’ setting. No other RUclips reviewer has shown that information. Does Klipsch prevent this info from being shown? In my room, the RP-500SA can do 80Hz-20kHz on ‘surround’ mode. I can push it to 60Hz, but I haven’t turned off the other speakers to hear how it sounds during a movie or music. No idea if 60Hz is worth it, tonally.
My bad Jeremy, I thought you were talking about their new Subwoofers. Trying to answer too many comments to quickly lol. You will find that most “Atmos speakers “do not show the frequency response. I’m not sure exactly where that is but that’s pretty much across the board with all brands that I have seen.
@@Youthman I have a single PB-2000. Can't find an another used PB-2000 or say can't find a good deal. SPL-150 is available used. Will match with my existing PB2K in a dual configuration?
Great video Youthman Got my Klipsch RP 8000F 11 two days ago, I'm super excited, did some two channel music listening, any advice or tips for best performance will be greatly appreciated
The acoustics of your room will play a bigger role, and how the speaker sound and perform than any settings. I would begin there, especially if you have a slap echo.
I’m considering 600mii for LR and RC64iii for center, it may not be a perfect match but I just can’t take my eyes off that rc64, and I don’t want to shell out for the rf7iii’s. I wish they made a bookshelf with the 1 3/4 tweeter from the rc64/rf7’s!
Great channel and fantastic reviews! I would like to hear your advice for my upgrade to a subwoofer. My setup:
* Sony Bravia XR-77A80J OLED *Denon AVC-X6700H * Klipsch RP-6000F ll (front) * Klipsch RP-504C II * Klipsch RP-4000F (surround) * Onkyo SKH-410 Atmos *Yamaha YST-SW90 Sub. Living room 5x6 meters. 2.5 meters high. My music/video ratio is about 70/30. I'm hesitating between the SVS sb1000pro, SVS pb1000pro (or the 2000 series) and the Klipsch SPL150 or RP-1200sw. I hear everywhere that SVS delivers better subs than Klipsch and that makes me doubt. I also doubt between the closed SB and open PB from SVS. Will there really be a difference if I mainly listen to music? A long story but I hope for good advice. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Hello Youthman. Great video as usual. I would like to ask you for your opinion. My plan is to build my new "video & music" setup in my living room. The size of my room is 20m2. I've decided on RP 6000F II as the front, center RP 500 C II, rear RP 502S II, and atmos RP 500SA II, in the future ceiling speaker something like SLM-3400C, but not sure regarding the subwoofer. I was thinking about SPL 100 (price is 497euro) but after your video, I started thinking about SPL 120 (price is 659euro). What do you think? And the heart of this setup will be Onkyo RZ50.
@@Youthman your videos are always well detailed and interesting to watch. You and Channa D are the best when it comes to audio/visual content. Kudos to the presentation of your Vids.
I recently just "upgraded" my front soundstage from the THX Ultra IIs to the RP-8060FA IIs and RP-504C II. And this morning my 2 new RP-1600SWs showed up to replace my 2 R-115SWs (I just recently traded the THX Ultra II subs and amp for the new RP subs... I have an open floor plan and the old subs just never really filled the space like I wanted. Not to mention the subs have blown at least once in all of my subs, including the THX Ultra II). Although looking solely at speaker quality, some might say this might be a step back, I can say that the new speakers provide a much more full sound than the Ultra IIs did. I always felt the Ultra IIs were lacking in the mid to low bass sound, and I had to really pump the subwoofers to make up for it. With the 8" speakers in the 8060s, it feels like a much more balanced sound than before. So far, I'm really happy with the swap, and I can't wait to get the new subs unboxed and set up later today!
I always found the Ultra II's to be a bit too laid back for my taste, especially for music. I owned a 12" THX Ultra II sub and wasn't a fan of it at all. I'm glad you are enjoying the new system.
Hundred percent agree. I have found adding an amplifier to a Klipsch system isn’t a night and day difference, but certainly does offer an improvement in performance.
I am one of the guys without a dedicated theater space. I appreciate this video a lot! I’m a Klipsch guy and I have the Reference Premier Mark I LCR (8000f and 504c). At some point I will upgrade to a set of Reference Flagships (or at least that’s the goal) I assume your using the built in Atmos towers to achieve the 7.2.4 setup? Also, I am curious what speaker stands you were using for your surround and surround-back speakers?
Thank you Mr. Morgan. You are correct, I am using the built in Atmos in the RP-8060FA and the RP-500SA on top of the RP-600M. Speaker stands are these ruclips.net/video/hoCtmlE4klk/видео.html
Nice setup, Youthman! I'm enjoying 4 Acoustics Research PS2262, a PSC25 center speaker, a Polk Audio HTS 12 and and old Denon AVR-1610! Shaking the house nicely!
Love from India ♥️ Have a question to ask ? Have you heard about a brand named Magnat ? If yes, what’s your take on Magnat Supreme 2002 vs Klipsch 8000 f II tower speakers ?
I got the full RP line from the 8000f to the 500sa (2 pair) and everything in between including the SPL 150 for a 7.1.4... I have no complaints except two months later they came out with the mark ll RP line and if I would have known I probably would have waited. At this point I can't afford to upgrade and hopefully not missing out on anything. In the meantime I'll try to get the most out of what I have. Adding the emotiva basX 3 has helped to get more detail, depth and headroom. What more can I do to get the most from my system so that I don't have to go through FOMO lol.
You have zero concern for missing out. Both versions are excellent. I’m not certain that I would be able to tell the difference between the two series in a blind test. Enjoy your system.
Thanks Dane. Same here. I have been listening to Klipsch since I was a teenager when I used to frequent my local Sound Advice store in Tampa literally every weekend.
Same! I had a 5.2(mini dsp) klipsch rp system gen 1 for 5 years. Great setup for entry into HT. Most AVR can drive them effortlessly without distortion. I had a love for the horns until I heard a 5.2 with true 3 ways and soft dome tweeters and a external amp. The natural reproduction of sound was next level. With a little eq on the top end and they can scream beautifully
@@MPR_2023 What did you upgrade to? My first setup was all Klipsch because like you said, no external amp. But now I have the disposable income for amps and better speakers. Looks like a lot of people are going JBL after Klipsch.
I personally don't like speakers that a blanket is over them, I think Focal Chora speakers would take these to the shed! But I would take Klipsch over Polk though. I have Klipsch R-120SW subwoofers myself in bedroom, and SVS sub in living room.
I’m a Klipsch speaker fan. And would continue to buy Klipsch speakers. As for their subwoofer line not so much. Hopefully their new subwoofer line is much more reliable. Looking forward to Youthman’s review on the new subwoofer line.
The KG 5.5 or one of the few Klipsch speakers that I have never heard. I owned a pair of KG 3.2 that I used in a 2ch setup for my office. I much prefer the older Reference speakers than the KG series but that’s just me. The CF and KLF series were both excellent.
Youthman (Michael),awesome review as same like klipsch speakers, I am using these klipsch version 2 speaker package and super awesome!! Nothing to tell, better choice for Home Theater enthusiast.!!Am Happy..
I just purchased the same 504C II center channel. However, when watching movies, the dialogue is very vague… Sonos Arc had better clarity… can you advise what I should do? I’ve got a good Sony receiver and I’ve tried the tips mentioned in your center channels tip videos… Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible I got a defective unit?
Actually just bought some of the gen 2’s yesterday to replace my 20 year old system. Excited doesn’t begin to describe it. LG G3 65”, 2x 8000F II, 504C II, 2x 500M II, RP1200SW, and Denon X3800H. Appreciate your content and insight. Been browsing through the last year or so to decide on a good foundation I can easily add on to with good flexibility. Couple weeks out from delivery, but already prepping and stocking up on accessories :)
I really would like to upgrade my current living set up to at LEAST the 6000 series towers, or 600m bookshelves with a powered subwoofer wired in series. My RP-400 bookshelf system is okay but it’s definitely lacking in the lower mid-bass region.
I think I’m good I have 2 RF-7 iii’s and an rc-64 iii, with I think about 6-9 in ceiling cdt-5800 in ceiling speakers, with the 502 surrounds, and then the similar sized bookshelf’s, for my rear audio, and my front wide audio… with a Denon a1h to power everything, I know I did not stick with the same family, between the avr, and the speakers, but I like it, I much prefer the Denon over the Integra, I used to have…. To see if I liked my set up… so I prefer the Denon and Marrantz AVR, with Klipsch speakers, which I know are now owned by Onkyo, I think it is… I will have took into some good mid level-upper level speakers, I can get from Massimo for my next upgrade, in a few years…
@@Youthman I just wanted to ask you, is their any benefit to going with a newer Klipsch speaker, or should I be good with the rf-7 iii’s for a while…. I just want to add that my next speaker I buy, I will probably buy one from a D and M brand, rather then going with klipsch, or any other brand, since I like the Denon when it comes to receivers, or Marrantz, if I buy a processor… since I am not such a big fan of the idea of Onkyo now owning Klipsch…
Last I heard from Klipsch, they do not have any current plans to replace the RF-7 III and they are Klipsch's flagship reference speaker (not including Heritage or Cinema series). D&M do not sell speakers. If you are referring to their parent company, Sound United, they sell Polk, Boston Acoustics and Bowers & Wilkins. Onkyo doesn't own Klipsch. Both Klipsch and Onkyo are owned by Voxx International.
@@Youthman I think Sound United (Massimo) also sells Definitive Technology, which is more then likely what I will be thinking about buying when the time to upgrade does come in talking many years from now, since I don’t think my rf-7 iii’s will die or become obsolete, any time soon… so this will be in about 5-10 years time, of course if Klipsch comes out with an even better speaker, I will consider them as well, assuming the speaker can play nice with a Denon AVR, I really missed the D and M Sound, when I had the integra, or the entry level sound, from Voxx international… as long as I am making the correct connections..
I wish we in Australia paid what the US pay for there Klipsch speakers, though you guys call them budget deaf speakers, in Australia there in the thousands for example the Rp 7 series 2 where 3 thousand Australian on special I might ad
Still rocking Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers but at their price point, Klipsch does sound tempting! I’ve got an 8” Klipsch sub and still impressed with how great it sounds.
I got both sets...the Pioneers sound great together...not so much separately...I even have the atmos speakers in a 5.1.4 system for the master bedroom...got a 10" REL sub...it is good enough for 83 percent of most people.
Are you sure about that? Google the following: Klipsch RF7 III Klipsch LaScala Klipsch Palladium P-39F Klipschhorn or Jubilee Klipsch KG 5.5 Klipsch KLF-30 Klipsch KPT-904-M Klipsch KL-650-THX Klipsch KF-28 Klipsch AWR-650-SM Klipsch KG4 Klipsch Academy Klipsch Promedia Is there just a few I thought of off the top of my head. I’m not seeing any resemblance whatsoever.
Nice, their is a Klipsch store like an hour away. I'll check them out. Yeah, my OCD would probably hav me eat Paint chips 😂😂if my speakers didn't line up.. I'll go with wall speakers. I like them better. Oh, Yeah, Pioneer man🙂. Those are the only AVR I ever brought, love them Much. I'm still rockin' 2 Elites🤣🤣AWEsome, Show!!😍🤩
It’s funny when it originally came out, they were people saying it had little to no bass. Either they were watching it on streaming (which is highly compressed) or they need better subwoofers. It’s incredible!
@@thestig007Is there any such thing as "lossless" movies through a streaming source? I've always known my Blu-ray movies sound noticeably better but your comment has me finally thinking, just how bad is the sound from Netflix, Max and all the others. I've always been comforted seeing my AV switch over automatically to Dolby Digital through these streaming movies but now I'm 2nd guessing the quality. Thoughts?
thanks youthman for this epic video, even i was thinking to search for how much voulume max i can go in my denon + klipsch 5.2. Always having a doubt factor to go loud or stay safe, fear factor is about the distortions.. but here am seeing those subs working perfectly and your confident review..thats it. GO LEGEND.
As always, if you hear distortion in your speakers or subs, you are driving them beyond their capability and best to turn them down. As long as they sound clean, you are good to go.
They can be as bold or subtle as you want. I definitely like the slim profile. They are much less obtrusive than the larger RF7 III and therefore have a higher WAF.
Love to see the new Klipsch subwoofer top of line go neck to neck with SVS 3000. Remember they called these new subwoofers The Svs killer. I saw put Your money where your mouth is cuz I don't believe it.
For clarification, the SVS Killer is The Beast that is still in development. It will compete with the PB16. Kliosch didn’t mention the new subs during that podcast, only The Beast.

Are they’re better then Polk speakers
Thank you Youthman, just like most guys, I do not have a dedicated theatre room. Most of us here in Nairobi have our systems in the living room. Enjoying my SVS all round system.
Thank you Kevin.Glad you found the video helpful
You're such a natural talking to the camera! Great video, really enjoyed it! BTW, I'm a KEF guy.
Thank you for the kind words Michael. Do you have an awesome set up. I love the RF7 III’s. They’re fantastic.
100% agree on the sweet spot.
How do the 8000ii sound compared to the rf7iii?
As always, great content. ❤ Thank you. Klipsch forever😎🙌
The drama of the conflict between youthman and the Mrs had me on pins and needles!
You've owned 50+ Klipsch speakers? Insane.
🤣🤣🤣 we have fun together.
Yes, I have on over 50 pair of Klipsch speakers over the years. I actually made a video about it. - ruclips.net/video/TCmhJA17kK0/видео.html
I'm a Polk fan, I'm rocking a 5.2 Polk system with a Yamaha receiver. I really enjoy the "every mans" theater content too.
What an analogy! lol
The funny part is that it's spot on! 👍😎
Haha, love the analogy. My very first setup was Klipsch, and when I built my dedicated home theater, I bought another set of Klipsch. I do want to "upgrade" to something else, but I'm happy at the moment. I know there's much better out there...
@@thestig007 but they still sound so good you have wound up upgrading other gear besides the speakers. Many Klipsch owners feel the same way.
Considering you can pick up Klipsch for about half of MSRP if you wait for sale and clearence they are a great value. The old wifes tales about the bright Klipsch sound don't apply anymore. I love my RP system.
I wouldn’t say it was wives tales, it was reality. With each revision of the RF7, they highs got more refined.
This is going to sound crazy, but I still remember my first set of Klipsch headphones from 20yrs ago… from the moment I put them in I knew they were special and I’ve been a fanboy since. We recently moved to our “forever home” and am super excited to plan, design, and build our home theater
What an absolute treasure this channel is! Thanks, Youthman.
Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos.
Just added the 505 to my system and so far I love it.
Awesome! It has been probably over 20 years since I have heard a Pioneer AVR. I love that it has Dirac Live. The app is slick. I’ll have a separate review of it soon.
I had been waiting for this review, Love Klipsch, Thanks
Hope you enjoyed it Pedro
even if there is no sound setup in a room. accoustik treatment makes it so much nicer to talk to one another. the disturbing sounds are so much less anoying like a vacuum cleaner / espresso machine / hairdryer etc. I would strongly recommend that everyone tries to get something done in their rooms. It really improves the quality of life imo. can be done visually pleasing aswell. just have to get creative.
You are preaching to the choir. I’m 100% for adding acoustic panels. Maybe when I get Jessica a pool she will be more open to adding panels lol
Thank you , planning to do 5.1.4 I have an Onkyo TX-RZ50 to power it up
Very nice review.
Here is my setup:
Denon 4700
Klipsch R-625FA Dolby Atmos Floor stand speakers
Klipsch RP- 504C II center channel
Klipsch R-41M Bookshelf speakers
Klipsch R-12SW subwoofer
Does this make my setup a 5.1.4 or 7.1.2?
I love my Svs dual 3000 in my setup. Up these towers might be next upgrade for the theater.
The PB3000 are fantastic subs. I reviewed it a few years ago.
Cool - this is my choice of speakers. Ordering soon. What do you mean by, "Reference Volume"? Is that like maximum volume, or... is there some kind of recommended volume by the manufacturer?
im running 2 pair of the klipsch B100 bookshelf speakers plus the center channel ...i dont have atmos yet
You should do a test if similarly sized canvas pictures with thick frames would be better for acoustic treatments than having none or as good as having the foam . Maybe stick foam behind the canvas ?
I pushed my center channel closer to the end for better sound but does the speaker work better for clarity with or without the grills ??
It’s not going to make much if any audible difference with the grills on or off.
Which is better klipchs or Polk audio speakers thinking 🤔
Awesome video. Can't wait for a RP-1600sw review!
Thank you kindly Alexandre
Good morning,
Thank you for this test.
I would like to ask you if you are familiar with the Tannoy revolution xt6f and xt8f and what do you think of these speakers compared to the Klipsch reference 8000F II or Polk R700.
Would it be a good idea to replace the Tannoys with these Klipschs?
THANKS
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I have not heard any Tannoy speakers.
should i get a UST for my living room or should I get a 100in TV
Not sure this is a fair question but,
will I appreciate a sound difference built on the JBL HDI series vs the Klipsch RP series??
My local installer says Klipsch but the HT store says JBL HDI series.
Huge price difference… is JBL HDI the 1%r’s?
I’ll pay the extra if it is that much better or is it just different?
I'm thinking the Marantz SR8015 or Denon AVR8500 to drive extra speakers at the other end of the room (pool table + work out area).
Glad you found the video helpful. This video might be helpful as well - ruclips.net/video/M21kRBt28_8/видео.html
That series of JBL should be comparable in performance. It’s definitely not the 1%r’s. Just depends on what sound your ears prefer.
Did you enable or I mean turn on The reflex optimizer for the dolby enabled speakers I really like it and wondered if you did to or not
I haven’t tried it yet. Thx for the tip. I’ll have to check it out
Klipsch has been my favourite even then and now...❤️
Klipsch makes great products. I’m really excited about their new subwoofers.
@@Youthman also... Any information regarding the "svs killer" Klipsch was talking about?
When they announce the new Reference Premiere Subwoofers, I asked them directly if the RP 1600 SW was the beast and they confirmed it was not, but it was still in development.
@@Youthman oh okey 👍
I've personally owned over 50 pair of Klipsch speakers - ruclips.net/video/TCmhJA17kK0/видео.html
I can tell you the Reference Premiere have a much smoother top end than older Klipsch speakers (like the original RF7's which were EXTREMELY bright...even to me).
@@Youthman Makes a lot of sense sir. Thanks for valuable reply. Got some clarity now. 👍🏻
@parthibanspace glad I could help
@youthman would you go with these speakers for a 5.1 setup or the SVS ultra 5.1 with the Ultra towers ?
My personal preference would be this system but with either Klipsch’s new subs (I haven’t heard them yet) or an SVS sub. The subs they sent for review are discontinued models. But that’s what my ears prefer, but you might like the SVS more. It’s always best to try and hear both to see what you prefer.
@@Youthman Thank you!
Great review!! I love my Klipsch!
Nice Review !
Could you review the all new Qualio Audio IQ Loudspeakers designed by Cube Audio ?
Thank You

Hey Michael, Would U Say That These Version Of Klipsch, Can Go Toe To Toe With The Best Out There??? I See 👀 Price Range Of Klipsch Ect.Ect
Absolutely competitive with other models a in their price range. No speaker can be considered “best”. That’s entirely subjective
@@Youthman, Hey BROTHA U DEFINITELY ON POINT AS ALWAYS! KEEP COMING, AND MAY THE MOST HIGH, KEEP U AND THE FAMILY, IN HIS GOOD GRACE, TAKE CARE!
Thank you brother
Hi sir thank you for your nice explanation.
Would you please provide me your thoughts about which is great either svs pb16 ultra or klipsch reference premier 2 subwoofer
Both are great subwoofers, in a very subjective, blind, AB comparison at MWAVE this past weekend, most attendees preferred the RP1600SW.
Thanks mr@@Youthman 🙂
I have the full Klipsch RP II line with 2 of their SPL-150 subs. They are fantastic in the small home theater space I’m framing out, I was curious though, what’s the best method for calibrating the setup? Unfortunately I walled off the av cabinet in another room so I can’t run the audyseey configuration that came with my Marantz SR8015 as the cable would need to be very long and run through a wall. Any advice?
Interesting. You could get a 3.5mm extension cable.
Check out Jonathan’s home theater tour here. ruclips.net/video/n6OS7eUYvBQ/видео.html
With that said, I personally would rather have RP8000F as my mains Vs RP400M.
Hey Youthman, this is my dream setup when I can afford them. Would you go with lesser power than the 505 to run the setup?
You could likely get away with lesser power, I just don’t recommend skimping too much on your AVR
LOL, the part about the wife giving a "NO" to the acoustic treatment... I think we can all relate to that one!
Another great informative video! You never fail to deliver! Thank you.
Thanks Allie. Just finished editing another one for tomorrow.
@@Youthman awesome, can't wait to see it! love your reviews.
I appreciate the support
Has Klipsch finally posted what the frequency response is for the elevation speakers? What was with the secrecy on the last model? I know what they do in my room, but I shouldn’t have to buy them to measure them myself 🙄
The first measurements I have seen is from this AV dealer - ruclips.net/video/3rX9qD3BdU0/видео.html
@@Youthman I should add, my RP-500SA’s are ceiling mounted in a 7.2.4 configuration.
@@Youthman all except JTR (110HT-SL) 80Hz-20kHz 😉
@Youthman can the SPL- 150 be compared to an SVS - PB 2000?
Great question. But I’ve never reviewed the PB 2000 to know.
@@Youthman I have a single PB-2000. Can't find an another used PB-2000 or say can't find a good deal. SPL-150 is available used. Will match with my existing PB2K in a dual configuration?
Great video Youthman
Got my Klipsch RP 8000F 11 two days ago, I'm super excited, did some two channel music listening, any advice or tips for best performance will be greatly appreciated
Funny timing. Just watched Top Gun Maverick on my Klipsch RP setup! What a ride. Love these speakers. Waiting on the review for the new subs! 😉
That’s awesome. Such a great film and excellent demo material to showcase your speakers.
Great channel and fantastic reviews!
I would like to hear your advice for my upgrade to a subwoofer.

*Denon AVC-X6700H
* Klipsch RP-6000F ll (front)
* Klipsch RP-504C II
* Klipsch RP-4000F (surround)
* Onkyo SKH-410 Atmos
*Yamaha YST-SW90 Sub.

I absolutely love my rf7-iiis they rock with my emotiva xpa-3 gen3. Nice video as always keep up the great work!

I like how easy Klipsch speakers tend to be easy to drive. You usually don't even need an amp, but an amp can help bring out even more detail.
Hundred percent agree. I have found adding an amplifier to a Klipsch system isn’t a night and day difference, but certainly does offer an improvement in performance.
all my speakers are klipsch the sound is amazing in my home theater.9.1 setup with a emotiva amp 5 channel
I am one of the guys without a dedicated theater space. I appreciate this video a lot! I’m a Klipsch guy and I have the Reference Premier Mark I LCR (8000f and 504c). At some point I will upgrade to a set of Reference Flagships (or at least that’s the goal)
I assume your using the built in Atmos towers to achieve the 7.2.4 setup? Also, I am curious what speaker stands you were using for your surround and surround-back speakers?
Thank you Mr. Morgan. You are correct, I am using the built in Atmos in the RP-8060FA and the RP-500SA on top of the RP-600M.

Been waiting for this for a while !!!
Thanks Eddie hope you enjoyed it. I’m trying to get caught up on all my reviews.
I have always loved klipsch even owning a full 5.0 gen 2 system and the original rp system as well. but I have since moved over to jbl.great video
What JBL speakers did you get?
@@jaysson1151 I got jbl stage series budget price but big sound .
@@MPR_2023 What did you upgrade to? My first setup was all Klipsch because like you said, no external amp. But now I have the disposable income for amps and better speakers. Looks like a lot of people are going JBL after Klipsch.
Great Review!
Thank you Dan.
Thank you, Joe
Is Klipsch KG 5.5 still worth to use in 2023?
The KG 5.5 or one of the few Klipsch speakers that I have never heard. I owned a pair of KG 3.2 that I used in a 2ch setup for my office. I much prefer the older Reference speakers than the KG series but that’s just me. The CF and KLF series were both excellent.
Youthman (Michael),awesome review as same like klipsch speakers, I am using these klipsch version 2 speaker package and super awesome!! Nothing to tell, better choice for Home Theater enthusiast.!!Am Happy..
That’s great to hear Johnny . Glad you’re enjoying your set up.
Klipsch still kicks rear!!
LoL😂😂😂 Jessica said NO
NOPE! Ain’t happening! 🤣🤣🤣
Congrats! That’s exciting.
Nice system Pie Romania
I really would like to upgrade my current living set up to at LEAST the 6000 series towers, or 600m bookshelves with a powered subwoofer wired in series. My RP-400 bookshelf system is okay but it’s definitely lacking in the lower mid-bass region.
The great thing is you can always move the 400s as your surrounds or surround backs once you do upgrade to towers
@@Youthman that’s pretty much how I planned it hehe. Except I’m worried the L and R towers will be too far apart for our listening distance.
Best bang for the buck 👍🏻
Definitely a LOT of bang for your buck with this system.
To see if I liked my set up… so I prefer the Denon and Marrantz AVR, with Klipsch speakers, which I know are now owned by Onkyo, I think it is… I will have took into some good mid level-upper level speakers, I can get from Massimo for my next upgrade, in a few years…
That’s a fantastic system Ryan
Yes, I forgot about definitive technology. They are under that brand as well.
I wish we in Australia paid what the US pay for there Klipsch speakers, though you guys call them budget deaf speakers, in Australia there in the thousands for example the Rp 7 series 2 where 3 thousand Australian on special I might ad
@3:01 - Wow nice home .
Thank you kindly, we have lived here for 18 years.
Great review youthman 🔥 could we possibly see a review on the new Klipsch reference premiere subs ?
It’s definitely possible. 😉
If Klipsch is watching, please send Youthman some of those new reference premiere subs! I'm interested.
He probably already has them someplace in the house 😂
The only thing I cant stand about klipsch is that all their speakers look the same, $100 or $2000 they all look the same. Love your channel.
Are you sure about that?
Google the following:
Klipsch RF7 III
Klipsch LaScala
Klipsch Palladium P-39F
Klipschhorn or Jubilee
Klipsch KG 5.5
Klipsch KLF-30
Klipsch KPT-904-M
Klipsch KL-650-THX
Klipsch KF-28
Klipsch AWR-650-SM
Klipsch KG4
Klipsch Academy
Klipsch Promedia
Is there just a few I thought of off the top of my head.
I'm still rockin' 2 Elites🤣🤣AWEsome, Show!!😍🤩
I’m glad you enjoyed the video
@@Youthman Always, My Brother Always!!
Bang for buck klipsch is always close to the top.
I love Klipsch but idk but my ears turn towards Polk audio way more. But it's nice to see you use that room to a 5.1 sound system
We all have to find the sound our ears prefer the best.
@@Youthman so true so far I haven't founded a speaker that sounds different to me but I guess everyone ears are different who knows 🤷🏼♂️
Also Klipsch made a new 16 inch subwoofer that would slap that 15 inch day in night maybe that will be the next subwoofer you will get 👀👀
I’m excited for the new reference premiere subwoofers they look very promising
@@Youthman they definitely do but is it possible if you can review the new Polk audio HTS12s I have two of them and man for 12s there very tactile.
Top Gun: Maverick is my favorite demo movie for audio. They did such a great job with the audio and sound effects! The bass is incredible!
It’s funny when it originally came out, they were people saying it had little to no bass. Either they were watching it on streaming (which is highly compressed) or they need better subwoofers. It’s incredible!
@@Youthman Oh yeah, I pre-ordered the blu ray and man, it's worth every penny to have that extra quality!
Thoughts?
The wives are NOT having acoustic treatment in their living rooms 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. So don't worry it happens to all of us.
I get it. 🤣
thanks youthman for this epic video, even i was thinking to search for how much voulume max i can go in my denon + klipsch 5.2.
WAF is huge. speakers need grills. Don't like "big circles" Haha
They can be as bold or subtle as you want. I definitely like the slim profile. They are much less obtrusive than the larger RF7 III and therefore have a higher WAF.
Good video
Thank you, Victor
Love to see the new Klipsch subwoofer top of line go neck to neck with SVS 3000. Remember they called these new subwoofers The Svs killer. I saw put Your money where your mouth is cuz I don't believe it.
For clarification, the SVS Killer is The Beast that is still in development. It will compete with the PB16. Kliosch didn’t mention the new subs during that podcast, only The Beast.
Ok thank you for the clarification
I’m curious to see if it’s an 18”
Ok 👍
reference levels is zero ?????? 😳
That is correct (if it’s calibrated)
