I started out with 10k 3 years ago. I did two duplexes with seller financing. Fast forward to now. I am worth 500k and currently finishing my 8 unit apartment building. I am 35 and already retired from the rat race. Real estate investing works if you are willing to put the hard work in. No one would loan me money and still wont to this day. I am working on fixing my past credit history. I still made it without the banks.

It would create a black market. Furthermore it would prevent supply and demand from equalising. Profit made from selling phones at a higher price can be reinvested to make more phones. With price controls you actually prevent people from getting phones as quick as possible. There is no incentive to produce more. Price controls is a form of communism just for the record. Not sure if that helps.
