- Anybody want to hear some Tesla??? I've wanted to cover these cats for a long time and I'm happy to say I did just that months ago but never released it. I was doing road dates for my last weekend so no covers - that means it was time to dig into the vault. So damn glad a #drumcover #Tesla is (was - LOL!) in the vault. I can't say I was overly familiar with their albums but I can say that #troyluccketta is a bad, bad man on drums. Hope you all have a great weekend and thank you for your support!!!! And I seriously hope you enjoy my friend Sheila Curtis's intro. She is a sweetheart, she is talented and she bleeds rock and roll 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 (This version of "Comin Atcha Live" was - in fact - prerecorded 🤣🤣)
One of my favorite songs of all time
Always loved that Tesla singers voice. Guy can wail and has such a distinct sound. Pure rock...
ME TOO!!!!!!!!! His name is Jeff but I can't remember his last name. First one of their tunes I hear was Modern Day Cowboy and the band smoked but it was his voice that drew me in. That dude has a massively distinct sound. You are spot on - it's straight rock and roll. Zero chaser.
Keith
I met him her in puerto rico.
Spent much time backstage with him. Signed all my stuff.
We both saw together stryper when they were opening for tesla here. The guy is a COOL humbre genunine man! We had a great time.
a thousand times awesome 🤘
WOOHOO excellent 🤘💯🥁🔥
What 'choo doing Cheri Gem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO GOOD To see you in the comments ❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@TreyBDrums I was hurt my right hand just got released from thearpy. March-july you Escaped the flood. Just horrible what I seen. Prayers to your state 🙏 congrats for playing with poison and the rest of the show! Woohoo
I’m not sore what the Official Troy Lucketta Seal Of Approval would look this, but this performance would definitely receive that award. Showmanship, chops, and an unshakable groove - pretty much everything you can ask for. The little double bass runs near the end were a nice touch as well.
(For some reason, I also love watching that drum key hang on for dear life).
Agree totally for your comment, it's really amazing!!
Dude, the Troy Luccketta approval - if I got that I'd smile from ear to ear LOL! I can't emphasize enough how good I think he is. He's SUCH a complete drummer. And he brings it to this day. He has been with Tesla as long as I can remember but he can sit down and shred Latin grooves, jazz, fusion - and he can do it with ease. Dude has forgotten more about drums than most will ever know. James buddy, I appreciate you!
And the drum key - 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Everybody's even got me watching it when I edit HAHAHA!!!!
I get all tense watching you. Rock it👏👏👏
I'll TAKE IT 🤣🤣🤣🤣 If you get tense, than it could mean the intensity factor is good? IDK, you tell me. I just appreciate you watching so damn much 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Brilliant performance Trey. The intro was great, really enjoyed your triplets at the end to close it out. Not easy to mix live recordings and this was super clean bro. Tesla’s not a band I listened to all that much but I need to go through more of their music. Cheers dude 👍😎
Dude, I didn't listen to them a great deal myself. Very early on when I was playing I remember Modern Day Cowboy being in a cover set but beyond that, I don't think there was anything. It wasn't really the band that caught my attention as much as it was their drummer Troy Luccketta in a vid I watched on here months ago. I couldn't get over how complete of a player he was. The epitome of a pro. So that turned me toward a few of their tunes and my friend Shelia in the intro always uses the chorus as here intro line when she goes live on FB or IG. So........boom LOL! We got a Tesla song on here. I appreciate you and I appreciate the support so much buddy.
Just killing it Trey! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻👍🏻😎
As are YOU Mr. Earl! You are on a total tear buddy 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Super cool intro and another breathtaking performance, Trey!!! Killer kick drum and cymbal work. And as per usual, you make it all look so darn easy!!! I’m glad this impressive drumming show didn’t end up in your vault forever, so I’m wondering what kinds of treasures might still be waiting for us in there… Hope you’ve had tons of fun at your amazing show I’ve seen the photo on your Instagram of. Have a great weekend, bro! 😃🤘🥁👏👍
Vader buddy - thank you so much for being kind enough to follow and to even notice the pics on IG!!! It was a lot of fun and I was immensely grateful to get to be back on stage. On the vault - LOL!!! It's pretty slim now. I've got a handful of unreleased things but not too much. On this one, I just figured it was a pretty unknown tune so I was expecting a fairly limited response. But, it's creators like YOU that remind me Variety is the spice on here. For real - you change up things on your channel so frequently dude. And I LOVE it. So hopefully this one is still entertaining to a few folks. Can't tell ya how much I appreciate you my friend 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Pure Energy!!!
it's the kind of song (which I love) that usually gets boring on youtube (all these little drummers who are discovering the 80s at the moment... it's nice but they too often lack the "aggressiveness "of those rock drummers of that time).
Thank you
Yo Olivier! See dude, that comment makes me feel so damn much better about this one. I held off on putting it out for a long, long time. First issue was I didn't think the song would go over and second issue was I was concerned it was too straight ahead. But if you were entertained and could detect intensity, that helps me in knowing it's there. (Also helps me not sit on something so long next time LOL!!!) Dude, in both the 80s and the 90s - drummers brought the goods. They didn't pitty pat. They flat out played. They hit hard and they played for the song. I also miss those eras because it wasn't perfect. The drummers were live as live could be. I got more of the 90s than the 80s in terms of drumming but thanks to clips on here, it's a blast to see guys like Troy Luccketta just rip! He is an amazingly well rounded drummer. Sorry for the long response. A sincere thank you buddy 🤘🤘🤘🤘
as a drummer your chest is exploding when you play a song like this,
well done my friend, very well done.
bravo
Mike buddy, awesome to hear from ya and thank you so much for watching! I would think this is their opening song and I bet it's SO fun to play! There's always something to be said for the bluesy / gritty rock tunes that pack energy. And the live cuts I saw on here, it was a blast to hear Troy Luccketta do this in a variety of ways. He is an absolute monster of a drummer.
For real, thank you so very much for the comment & for being so cool to watch Mike!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🙏
Yo Trey B nock'n down some Tesla!!!!
Awesomeness!!!
Givin it a go anyways LOL! Hard for me to sit back and say I can match Mr. Troy Luccketta so since I can't do that, I think he'd be good with me taking some liberties with his work HAHA! I can't thank you enough for watching my friend
Rock...and...Roll...BADASSERY!!!
DAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How are you buddy?? SO damn good to see you in the comments bro!!!!
Wow!!!! Big like TESLA cover!! Awesome!!
I'm just so pleased to see a number of people that actually like this! I figured this one might be a bit too far off the wall but I was stoked to get to cover one of theirs. Appreciate you!!! 🙏🙏🤘🤘
Awesomeness! That was a great performance brother. 🥁🤘🥁🤘🥁
Bro, I appreciate that so, so much 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
Super clean and heavy grooves! Great quality recording. It is always a pleasure to watch you Trey B. 🔥🔥🔥🤘🏻👍51
Ben buddy - you keep doing what you're doing and you will FAR outgrow anything I've done on here. Just know I am a fan of YOU dude
@@TreyBDrums Wow! I am honored. Thank you Trey.
Very cool show, thank you.
Thank you for watching my friend 🙏🙏🙏🙏
KILLER!!!!!
Awesome of you to watch and I appreciate the comment my friend! I'm going to back up and maybe give a few other Tesla tunes a go. Troy is such a monster drummer. Have an awesome night!!!!
Just awesome, Trey... this is absolutely fantastic cover... Loved it !!! 😎🙋🏻♂🥁
Paco buddy............
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Have a GREAT weekend my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great selection my friend! And as always..... you rocked it hard-core!
Brian dude, thank you so so much and thank you for watching bud!!!! 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
Well played my friend, well played. Very underrated band that got caught up in the wash of hair bands. Always a pleasure watching your videos.
I sure appreciate that. Yep - they were an unfortunate casualty of that time BUT - they continue to go on and sell big ass joints so I figure they escaped. Bands like Roxy Blue, Trixter, Bang Tango - that's a different story 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Appreciate ya Joey!!!!!!!!!
Man... nice intro!!!! and... i'm always gladly impressed by the energy you always have on your playing!!! is contagious!!!! Keep doing this amazing work, bro!!! is something we lot cherish!!!
Man, that smile at 1:24, damn. Great work as usual.
I had to go look LOL!! Yep, I cracked a smile 🤣🤣. This is just a fun kinda tune and there wasn't much of a game plan. I was enjoying the vibe of it (from what I remember) and really enjoying not getting bogged down in memorized licks or anything. I appreciate you and hope you have a fantastic weekend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Killer playin' killer sounds!
What up ANDY! Everything set for this fall? I went over your all's dates and if there's any way I could make Charlotte or Atlanta, I'll try. I really want to see you and just shoot the shit if time allows Andy. You all really do have a good run coming up so I hope it's great. You'll hit that stage and go nuts bro!!!!
Pure perfection
I sure appreciate the kind words. I mean that. I can't thank ya enough just for being so cool as to watch my friend 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
Oh no you didn’t 💥💥💥💥 loves me some Tesla . Awesome work Trey Luccketta 😎
AHA!!! So I just about messaged you to ask if you thought Tesla would fly on here. My hunch would have been proven correct 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@TreyBDrums 💯
Your a rock hard drummer Trey this is one sweet song to cover mate well done indeed.
Thank you for the music and you enjoy the weekend as well my friend all the best cheers
Buddy, I appreciate you and the support so damn much.
For real H - your kindness is humbling my friend 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Wwwooowww Awesome!!!..Great Work Brother..👍😊🤘🙏
🙏🙏🤘🤘 My sincere thanks and for real - thank you so, so much for the kind words 💪💪💯💯
Truly bad ass!! Tesla is one of my favorite bands! Deadly drum mix too!
What up, what up bro? Right on! Another Tesla fan so this wasn't as off the wall as I thought it was going to be LOL! Dude, I am a huge admirer of Troy Luccketta. He's one of those drummers that has it all. He's got the technical skill for days but he has feel for miles. Appreciate ya Jesse!!!!!
Absolutely 💯 he is very over looked in the drummer conversations, Great Radio Controversy and Psychotic Supper oh and Bust a Nut are my favorite albums, but I like all of them up to and including into the now.....amazing song writers ! Great live show too! Seen them a couple times
Love Trey!
Love my Sis ❤❤❤❤
Trey covering Troy 😎👍 sick playing man! *CHEERS*
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yep! That is how this one went down. I will be the first to say that Troy Luccketta is about as complete of a drummer as a person will find in rock. His versatility is something I don't do a good job of explaining to other people. Appreciate ya Chris!!!
Another great track! Keep these videos coming!
Mark buddy, I appreciate that and I can't thank you enough for watching! I'll do my best to keep things flowing on here my friend. Have an awesome weekend!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dude!!!!! The mixing and mastering of your covers is so outstanding 👏 👌 😍 Trey you've done it again!!!!! Awesome performance brother, like to see covers and drummers working there balls off!!!!!! If you ain't sweating, it ain't rock n roll!!!!
LOL! For me, I've worked up a sweat on about anything just because it's more than likely at least the 4th take if not the 8th before I start thinking things sound half ass OK. I hope you have an awesome weekend bro!!!!!
My god you are a monster! I love it! Trey you a totally rocking! Sounds phenomenal. You are inspiration my friend!
What up dude! I have been totally out of whack for damn near 3 weeks so I am terribly sorry for the delayed reply. DUDE - I just watched the New Level cover - favorite one yet! You have your sound so damn dialed in on that. As for your kind words on this, please know how very, very much I appreciate ya Joey 🙏🙏🙏
@@TreyBDrums I hope you are doing better now! No problem Life happens! LOL Thanks you for the kind words that means a lot to me! I look forward to your next video! You are the best!
Hell yeah, that was awesome! That sounded incredible, amazing job Trey! Keep rocking my bro!🥁🤘🥁🤘
Gonna do my best BriGuy! How are ya man? What's new? How was your July my friend?
@@TreyBDrums Hey Trey! Doing really well, but going way too fast! I still feel like summer just started lmao. Hope you are enjoying the summer as well!
my favorite tesla song and your killin it!
Mine too if memory serves! I wanna say Modern Day was my second fav. BUT - they have an extensive catalog so I very well could be forgetting one or two that rocked. Any others off the top of your head that ya recommend trying?
FANTASTIC! Great energy and speed. You are amazing and loved those stick tricks towards the end :)
Dude, just thank you for watching that long! I picked up some Meinl stick wax last year and I've kept on using that. I used to tape sticks and that's hit or miss for me. Then I got Gorilla snot (actual name of the product 🤣🤣🤣🤣) Bro that was way too harsh. That ripped skin right off my fingers too many times. So, to keep a grip since I tend to sweat, I have found the Meinl wax to be really good. And it's affordable too.
This is the part where I'd add "Endorse me Meinl stick wax" but I know better 🤣🤣🤣🤣 - Appreciate ya my friend
I use to play this in an old band. What a bad ass song and what a great cover as always!!
Zack, I remember arguing with this cover band I played with on this song 😂😂😂. For real - grunge was all in but cover bands were still rocking this era in the early 90's. So the set I remember had Modern Day Cowboy but I wanted to do this one so damn bad. I just thought it was a cooler song and could get a crowd (a small crowd for a cover band HAHA!!) more into things. Got any clips of that band? I'd love to see em bro!
@@TreyBDrums I wonder if this conversation helped influence the future.... lol
Dude u killed it! Always loved Troy's playing, such great grooves and fills on top and bottom. Drums sound excellent! You even had the nerve to throw some swirls in! Gettin better..
Troy - to me - is a world class cat. I was talking with a friend today and the subject of underrated came up. I know that in the drumming community, drummers know what a monster Troy is but in terms of general awareness, I think he is certainly underrated. Wish I would have thrown his name into the mix on that subject. The twirls on this one - you can see I'm hanging on for dear life 🤣🤣 That's a breakneck speed by my standards. Somebody said "Vik Foxx" - I laughed. I'm a big Foxx fan. And I was trying to go at his speed. Thank you John and have an awesome weekend!!!
@@TreyBDrums I wore out great radio controversy. His kick work on makin magic was awesome and changed how I looked at kick fills. Few top drummers have that "I know who that dude is" feel when you hear them. Alex VH is another that comes to mind with a def signature sound. U locked in and stayed there throughout. Outstanding job brother! Vik played on Vince Neils exposed right?
@@johngold1849 OMG - I am so glad you mentioned Makin Magic. In hindsight, I would have loved to have done that one! You probably just named a cover to come LOL! Yep, Vik was on that tour and with Enuff Z'Nuff before that. Then he resurfaced with the Veronicas in 2008 or so and he was still a blast to watch and a pure rock solid monster
@@TreyBDrums @Trey B Absolutely love Vik's playing, so fluid. Yeah, do a cover man!
Another blitz dude great live song to get a show started
This is a fun tune I'd imagine to start things off with. I watched a few live versions of this when I was doing it and from what I remember they were all super cool James. Appreciate ya! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘
Love your energy , Trey B !
Dude, I just appreciate so damn much that you're kind enough to watch the uploads bro 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums Hell yeah, man.
Totally BadAss! ❤
Davey, Davey!!!! Appreciate the hell out of that my friend!!!!!!! I'd use emojis but I'm at work on an old ass keyboard with no emoji options HAHA!!!!
Awesome Trey… Troy Luccketta is a hard drummer to copy!!! Great job 👏
Dude, I couldn't copy him LOL! I watched a few live vids just so I could have some kind of idea how he went at things but he's so regimented and so pro, I can't match that vibe. I had to go at it and just have some fun with this one. I couldn't agree more bro - he is one of those guys that you don't hear as often as you should when "great" drummers are being discussed. He is flat out great. Appreciate you bro 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums Yes totally agree Troy doesn’t get the recognition he deserves
Awesome job! Listening to this makes me wanna go play NOW😁 nice ninja stick tricks too!! You ROCk bro!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 ALRIGHT! Well go hit the kit and I'm LOVING the "ninja stick tricks" label LOL!!!!
Jace buddy - for real, I sure do appreciate you.
Amazing work! Awesome sound! Great song choice from a great album! Need video angles of that foot work! Keep rockin’
Yep and with this one being an older vid I hadn't released, I was thinking there was a foot cam so I apologize. Foot cam is going to be back in the mix soon my friend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Awesome song. Good work. You killed it
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I sure appreciate that Andrew! Have an awesome weekend bud 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Rock solid drumming! Great work Trey!
I sure appreciate that. I'm trying to knock the dust off and get something new out LOL! Been out in the world and at the ol' job during the day so it was nice to get the kit back up and try to get back in the swing of things bud.
Another great drum cover. 👍
🙏🙏🙏🙏 I sure appreciate the support and I thank you for watching! Fun one to do even though it was a bit off the beaten path. Have a great evening bud! 🤘🤘🤘

Right back at you! Just finished some 512 to go with a fantastic DIO short with you shouting out the King Mr. Vinny Appice! Jace, it makes me smile ear to ear when I see someone from your generation giving props to that era. Appreciate you!!!!

@@TreyBDrums i feel good thanks. I Do my Drum And Vocals covers like always for fun! Have a Nice day my friend
Trey! Another heart pumpin ass kickin tune delivered.. Great job bro that was excellent..Troy is such an under-rated drummer its sickening..You killed it!! 😎🤟🥁
Yes sir - Troy is a massively underrated drummer in my book. And he's an INCREDIBLE drummer with a large array of skills. Watching him play, it's fun because you get to watch someone who is proficient is about every style imaginable but he certainly doesn't come off with any ego at all. I cannot emphasize enough how much respect I have for that dude. And honestly, that's a major upside to YT because clips on here helped me to see how overall skilled he truly is.
@@TreyBDrums Oh h*** yes in a big way...after I did the Little Suzi drum cover I logged on a good 2-3 hrs watching old and recent stuff of his.. Very much so.. such an amazing player..😎🤟🥁
This rules! I love most early Tesla especially hearing Troy pounding those Z series Hats! This was a great cover and I’d love to hear more Tesla from you,? Maybe Gettin Better, Modern Day Cowboy, and/or Edison’s Medicine. You’re killing it Bro!
Telling ya man, Troy is one of the most underrated BAD ASSED drummers on the planet bro 🤘🤘🤘 Modern Day - absolute possibility my friend!!!!
Holy shit man that was awesome! My favorite Tesla song! Great playing! Rock on brother!
Really? Well that's awesome!!! This one is my fav from them too Richard 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Nice job. Going to see Tesla Live this month on the 31ST at Indian Ranch in Webster MA.
I can't believe it will be 34 years since I saw them last at Great Woods in Mansfield MA.
That is awesome! I hope you have a great time Keith. From what I've gathered, they still put on a fantastic show. There was this tune and Modern Day Cowboy - liked 'em both a bunch but Tesla was one of the last "big" hair bands I got into before things shifted in a direction I liked a little better. I say that but I still don't think of Tesla as a hair band really. They are just a good rock band to me with a HELL of a drummer 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums Yes. They are a kick ass band all around. Jeff Keith looks a little "banged up" now but I am sure he will deliver. Very excited to be attending the show. Thanks again for the video and killer drumming skills!
I'd never heard this song before, it rocks! Great drumming, Trey! I hope the road dates went well!
Myke bud - I'm not overly up to speed on Tesla myself but if you get a chance to check out their drummer Troy Luccketta on here, I think you'll dig the hell out of him. He's a drummer's drummer.
Man - the Brides of Jesus tune..........that's my fav from you. It was a pleasure to hear you just go off on that thing!!! You brought some heat on that Myke 🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums A lot of it was just in the moment. The whole outro thing just sorta happened, and I liked it, so it made the final cut. I'm glad you liked it. I'm pretty satisfied with it.
As for Troy Lucketta, that name appeared a lot in old Modern Drummer magazines when I was a teenager. It's all coming back to me now.
Play it man. Nice.
🙏🙏🤘🤘 Appreciate ya watching my friend!!!! This one was fun
Like Musk's Teslas, you seem to be always on fire. Great groove and badass stick twirls, man. That's pure rock 'n' roll.
Hey man - did he ever buy Twitter? This is the point where I freely admit I do not live much of a life online. I chat with friends but I know so damn little in terms of headlines 🤣🤣. I appreciate ya my friend!!!!!!
Goddamn, that was great!
That's one of those old kinda dirty blues based rock tracks. T.O., that "death rattle" era of the hair stuff had some great shit in it. I still love to listen to tracks like Salty Dog, Bang Tango, Little Caesar and a bunch of others like that. None of 'em had much of a chance because the greatness of the early 90s was coming in but there really were some damn good bands. Seems like Tesla escaped the trap just fine. They continue to headline and sell in big ass places. Damn good band 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Hi there buddy another good performance from you, from one of the most underrated bands Tesla. But I have to say this .... Frank Hannon and Dave Rude with their guitars kills it on this song their performance is one to nothing and everything. Not to forget Jeff Keith's voice too. Stay safe
This is a tune where the dual guitar attack is absolutely stunning to me. It's an example of a track where the band really sounds live. While I do not know a ton about them, I can say that anytime a song of theirs came on, it was immediately a song where I would know it was them thanks to that vocalist. That guy has an incredible voice for rock and roll. WOW - I'd love to be able to sing like that. If I could, I sure wouldn't be hauling drums to gigs 🤣🤣
Appreciate you so much buddy. Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!
@@TreyBDrums Your welcome there and have a nice weekend too.
Ain't heard that since grade school! An I'm 47!😭 Good chit bra!💪
I'm right there with ya Timmy 🤣🤣🤣🤣 So let's agree that these young 'ens need to hear these jams. Appreciate you my friend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dam right!
You are a god!! Hope you enjoyed your tour and Poison opening.
What up dude? Well, this is the part where I have to learn to act like something big happened (LOL!) but in terms of a tour, it wasn't anything like that. It was a one off show for them with Lita Ford. But, I'll be the first to tell you that I forget how big of a deal they are. They sold that joint out. As the band I was with - Grimsley Rose - was finishing their set, you could see all these people pouring in. By the time Lita was half way through her set, the place was packed. So kudos to them for being a consistent draw but also because they care about their show. I respect the hell out of that regardless of genre. Bret Michaels in particular - dude goes on stage and gives a hell of a show no matter what's going on in his personal life. Appreciate you buddy!!!
@@TreyBDrums that's totally cool though. My biggest claim to fame is playing with/being replaced by Scott Ashton (Iggy Pop).
Damn man. Awesome playing as always. You bring it everytime.
🙏🙏🙏🙏 That's incredibly kind of you Joey. I just appreciate that people are kind enough to watch. I really do mean it when I say that means more to me than I probably can properly explain. Have an awesome weekend!!!!
Another rock solid drum beatdown! I always love to see you knock out this high energy stuff. This is amazing news to hear you've broken out of the cellar to do some road gigs. Are you touring support for Poison? That show on the short looked like a sick arena setup. Totally stoked for you man! Be sure to hit me up if you ever swing through California!!
I'm running so behind on my replies bro - I am sorry. Dude, I wish there were more dates with them but it landed as a one off. They (Poison) had just played in Chicago and strangely had a Saturday off. This is a gig they booked before the pandemic as a headliner and I want to say they were doing the same thing then with booking a few headlining gigs to go with the support dates on that Stadium tour. Anyways, it was an arena and I can't thank my buddy Todd enough for asking me to handle the drum duties for him. And after that I went back to do a few cover gigs with friends so it has been nice to leave the house. If I ever go West again and get anywhere near you, you better believe I'll hit you up and if you come East, you do the same my friend
Man that was SUPER cool! I'm not familiar with this Telsa song....but it sure rocks!! Also, love that overhead camera shot ( I might be a little bias though....LOL). I think it's a really cool angle, so hope to see more in future. Those stick flips were not lost on my either.....I don't know how you do it. Brilliant video Trey! Have a great weekend.
Dude, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate ya Robb. Since I'm down for a few days, editing this (which was shot months ago), I agree - the overhead shot is a keeper and I need to bring that back in. I actually wouldn't mind doing a few with just that show. It's a great look at the kit. The stick flips - 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Trust me, I got blooper vids for days on those bro
Trey, I am not familiar at all with Tesla’s music!!! Could you name a song or two, or three or four that you think I should listen to from this band! A few months back you recommended some Alice In Chains songs… and I became a big fan of AIC! 🎶🎵🎶 Loved your drumming! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🧯😉😘😎
SURE! Start with Modern Day Cowbody. That's generally regarded as one of their more classic / commercial tunes. From there, just explore and see what you like. Eddison's Medicine and Little Suzie are both hard rocking tunes that have great lyrics and arrangement (to me anyways). Missed you and hope you are great!!!!
Awesome rockin cover Trey! Energy through the roof, laser precision thunder... man, it is always fun to watch. You're a beast -- and congrats on your live gigs!! 🤘🤘
I sure appreciate that Mike! Yep dude, being back on stage was a lot of fun and I was over the top grateful to be back up there. Can't compliment the bands and crews enough eitehr. That goes for Poison and Lita Ford. Most of all, can't thank my bud Todd for asking me. Have an awesome weekend Mike!!!!
Great job on the cover
🙏🙏🙏 I can't thank you enough for being so kind as to watch my friend. Hope there are some other tunes on the channel that ya dig. Have an awesome weekend!!! 🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums yes love a bunch of other videos too.

Hey Trey what a badass drumming here (Elon Mask-- hahaha --will be proud) amazing my friend i love it from start till the end !!! You make and amazing job to sound mix this floor tom..dude!! Absolute perfection!!Always impress me with your performancies!!!
Stamatis, I merely thank you for watching! And while I know you are joking, if I could make Musk proud of my efforts - I'm pretty sure I would leave the drum game in search of something that paid far, far better 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@TreyBDrums our choices didn't have always done with money so we're Happy with these few small for others but huge for us cause we love what we doing, of course i'm joking it must have too many years heard for this band Tesla and your performance was so wonderfull so it was like they 're reborn in my memories! You share perfect content my friend thank you!!!
When you going to post some videos from the live gigs? Would love to see you playing live. You're just next fucking level Trey, glad I found your channel!
I haven't done many (sadly) but the ones I have done, I need the band's full blown permission to release even GoPro drum clips. I try to operate that way even in bands that don't typically require that level of clearance. I give it to them regardless. I just appreciate you being so kind as to even ask Bryan 💪💪💪💪🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I like the brutal side of your play. You exude an incredible energy on each track, we really have the feeling of attending a concert, a thousand applause from France !!!
Back at you Bob! I go over to your channel and LOVE to watch you shred my friend! My sincere appreciation and gratitude Bob. I truly mean that 🙏🙏
Great job bro. New subscriber earned.
What's happening Maddog! Those words are music to my ears (or eyes? If I'm reading I guess it's my eyes 🤣🤣🤣). Welcome and please know that I say thank you with some sincerity. Always feel free to shout out song suggestions as I try to read them all and while there are some lulls that will happen, I do what I can to keep content coming as consistently as possible. Appreciate you and THANK YOU 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is super wicked Trey your drumming is always arena worthy and this is definitely is no exception! This is such a kick ass tune and Tesla is still killing it these days! The last 2 arena concerts I saw was Tesla and they were fantastic! Got to meet Jeff Keith and Brian Wheat but not Troy who was is a monster player, got some pics in front of his kit though lol! Very cool to see you Rocking the Tesla, you are the arena master now, you've proven it now!
I meant to DM you regarding the Stadium show? Did that get close enough to you for you to go? Dude, when they announced it - I immediately thought of you / Rick Allen. Now back to Tesla - they are a hell of a band. I've only seen them once but that was more than enough to know they were beyond legit bro. And Troy Lucketta is a sick, sick drummer 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums yes I'm hoping to go they are coming to Vancouver which is 4 hours from me. You are right Troy is great but nothing on you my brother!
fantastic, simply fantastic trey. keep it up bro bro! 🤘🥁👏. while im here a request if i may? MEGADETH Angry again? 👍😎
Gareth buddy, how are ya!!!!!! Well, check the latest cover and see what you think. Angry again is a HELL YES - I forgot about that one bro 💪💪💪🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Next thing you know you will be doing Thin Lizzy Bad Reputation...Tesla is a gateway drum..be careful😎🤘🥁
Dude, Thin Lizzy has to be on here. And that's a great suggestion. Snortin Whiskey is gonna get done soon - I messed with that at the last sound check and the monitor guy knew the track immediately LOL!!!
AWESOME!!! Do you have your hihats so high to get more power on the snare hits with the left hand?
What up, what up! First, thank you so very much for being so kind as to watch and to ask my friend! To be honest, that is part of it. I started going higher with the hats for a bit more separation which helped me with some stick tricks at that time. I was trying some of the Carmine Appice left hand twirls that fly straight back. Then, I got pretty lucky and ran into a stretch where I found studios that were kind enough to help me get additional work. Multiple engineers commented that they really appreciated the separation between the hats and snare. And being young and eager to make a good impression, I think I lifted the hats even more 🤣🤣 But, now - yes. I can and will use the extra space that's there so really rare back with my left and drive into the snare as much as I can (within reason of course). Again, thanks so much for the comment 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Hi Trey! is it possible to put in a request ..... Im a huge Motörhead fan and two tracks I always enjoy listening its called knife or end of time off cause Overkill. Stay safe
CHRISTIAN!!! Apologies on running behind on my replies buddy. I'll listen to both. I'm behind schedule a bit right now on content so if either of them work and look like I'll try to fast track them, I'll try to remember to come back here and update you with another comment. If you haven't seen anything from me in a few weeks or a month, hit me again. Appreciate ya bro!!!
A decent man needs a beautiful girlfriend ! I'm glad you're lucky in that sense, bro.
I can't say anything about Tesla, because I listened to them very little. It was a pretty popular band in the 80s. Then they deflated.
What's about Agent Steel band ?
I'm right there with you because by the time I heard Tesla, it was no time and I moved on to the early 90s stuff which was more my speed. But I can listen to all these tracks now with a different level of respect just because so many of these players were (and are) so damn good at what they do. OH - Shelia isn't a girlfriend. She's a dear friend and a supporter of rock and roll. If you get a chance, give her a follow on IG or FB. She's been a friend for 25 or maybe even 30 years. We were kids when we met each other and even back then, she'd support all of us at live gigs. I've always been so appreciative of that. Plus she's incredibly kind and has a wonderful heart. Have an awesome weekend and I'll check out Agent Steel!
Nice one. Punchin´the shit out of it. One of Tesla´s better tunes.
Doc - what up bud? I'll be the first to tell you I don't know their catalog like a lot of other bands I've covered on here but this is a high energy driving rock tune in my book. I've hit a point where these types of songs are coming back and so fun to at least try and play. Hope you're doing great my friend!!!
@@TreyBDrums Hey Trey, I´m doing well. Punchin the shit out of some hornbeam in the woodyard today. Comin´ atcha live made me recognize Tesla, but I only really know what MTV back in the days offered me. Not a bad band, but there many I love way more. Have a great weekend. I sure will do- He he.
