I’d personally like to thank VRock for introducing me this badass band. Just watched Frank shred on That Metal Show and totally forgot how good he was 🤘
Man VRock was one of the best things about Vice City. Tesla, Autograph, Def Leppard, Anthrax, Alcatrazz, Iron Maiden, The Cult, and a handful of others not forgetting LOVE FIST. Such an awesome soundtrack! Really had a bigger impact on my music tastes later on them I ever thought it would at the time and sent me down so many rabbit holes.
My biggest influences when I first started playing guitar: Van Halen, Rhoads, Page, Lynch . . . and FRANK HANNON! Terribly underrated and tasty. Awesome.
Saw these guys play live on the 25th anniversary of the Five Man Acoustical Jam tour in Guelph Ontario. Poorly promoted by the venue and only about 50 people. But it was FRIGGIN' AWESOME! They played like they were playing to 1000! I'd seen them a couple of times before but don't remember them playing this song. Heard it acoustically for the first time and thought what a great song. THEN, I bought Mechanical Resonance and this song blew my mind!!!
saw Tesla back in 1987. they opened up for Deff Leppard (Hammersmith London). Leppard never stood a chance Tesla blew them away. Truly great live act. Met bass player a few months ago in London realy nice guy. bu this DVD now...
They opened with this song in June of 1986,at the Fast & Cool Club, in Lubbock, TX. I gpt to hang out with them after the show for an hour or so. I was invited to get on their bus to go to the Texas Jam, at Cowboys Stadium. Being the 17 yr old turk I was, I said I had to be at work the next morning...doh! 😩 😆
Try changing the equaliser on your tv (if you watch the DVD) or on the stereo if you have like a home cinema set. I don't know why they do that but it seems to be the trend lately, it's all guitars and vocals, which is strange cus when the bass comes trough it makes the song so much heavier and then it grips you more
When did Tesla get Donald duck on vocals?!!! Only kidding. Great band, one of the few from the 80's I missed live. The first album is an all time, nailed on classic.
@IIIIILizIIIII im not a hater. i just don't like the fact how he does his own thing while the band does what they always did which rocks. you don't see some jacklehead autotune the beatles do you. then have him play the original part
Tesla is ONE THE MOST UNDERRATED Rock bands in music history! These guys wrote amazing music & are all phenomenal musicians!! I was an instant fan @ 12yo & still am many many years later!
I think what kept these guys from super star status is the fact they were not willing to gimmick their act. They are hard rock at the core, no extras just the raw music and all that talent. I saw them in concert 5 times.
Jeff Keith is an incredible lead singer with Tesla...and has been for 27 years! I just saw them again for the 20th plus time on Friday night and it was incredible
These guys are criminally underrated.
+Mark LaCroix i wonder why tho?..thye r really so awesome
They came out just before grunge and the very unfortunate rap era when huge rock bands seemingly evaporated overnight
You hit it right on the head!
they were never underrated in my book \m/ \m/
Bad management !!!!!!!!!!
These guys and Def Leopard were the ABSOLUTELY BEST concert I’ve ever seen 🤘🎸😎❣️
Yeah, I remember seeing these guys open for a major band but can't remember who because these guys stole the show

I'm coming live on the faces of 22 people.
@sblopez08 I don't think so, man..
4:49 - the only reason I know this band is because I heard this part in Metallica's DVD "Cliff 'Em All"
5:30 - "Now, drink!"
Same, except I had the VHS. I went years not knowing what song this was. I love that little harmony part.
This is how we do it in Sacramento, bitches...
Cross Roads
I always thought Tesla was a chick band. I had no idea that they rocked.
@EnemyKnown Sad, but hey xD
GTA Vice City brought me here.

14 years ? We were jamming TESLA back in the 80s their first album came out mid 80s, at least I think it did. We did ALOT of drugs in the 80s
GTA VICE CITY V-ROCK!!!!!!!!
Only God knows how many vehicles I trashed as soon this tune played...
Lead singer is slightly loosing his sound but the guitarists are getting so much heavier, I'm waiting for the day when this band goes screemo/growl.
That is some of the best guitar playing I've seen. It's very fast, yet tasteful and the clarity of the notes is unbelievable. What a truly great band!
I know, right, well your guitar playing is pretty damn good to ya know .
