I used to shop regularly at Bicester but what I have found is certain designers at Bicester is the quality is not the same. Better to wait for sales in the shop or certain internet shopping
The reality of the outlet stores is that- it’s made from lower quality materials and a lot of brands are also on the recycling bandwagon ( better for the environment but lower overall quality/feel of the garments and accessories). As much as I do love my vintage Stonies the new stuff just doesn’t hold up at all. Nowadays I go with CP Company- better priced, quality and value for the money
Thanks Hox ✌️
How can CP company be better quality than Stone Island when they are made in lower quality countries. A lot of CP is made in China. Stone Island is a lot of Tunisia, Romania, Croatia, still some Italy.
Are Stone Island t-shirts good? How about the fit? Any opinions on Stone Island's made in Tunisia clothing?
Some nice ones mate, I agree some of the quality for the price aint right. I wish there was some pop up store here in Aberdeen. We do have Stone Island but no Canada Goose store.👍
Great vlog bro, wow, fookin wow.....price's are off the scale.... 😢😢😮😮
Great vids hox.
Sorry I never made myself more clear in my earlier message, but what I meant is would you be able to do a video displaying the difference between items made especially for the outlet and items made for the normal retail stores. It’s just that you have mentioned that in the outlets a lot of them now make items specifically for the outlet so I just want to be able to tell the difference.
I've got you now, and yes I can do that for sure, I can explain more in a dedicated video, cheers for the idea mate.
Tbh I've never put quality and stone island in the same sentence in my life. I like some of the innovation on the special process pieces but 80% of the time there's a risk attached to those items... Down the years the same old story..... Reflectives falling to pieces.... Mussola gommatas peeling.... Polo's shrinking etc etc..... Each to their own of course, and I've seen some standout pieces in the last few years but I always chuckle to myself when people say it's quality and well made when clearly put alongside other brands at same price point the difference is comical to say the least
I agree, it’s not a premium brand.
Agree with this. Good brand, but not top drawer. Same level as Paul & Shark i say.
Truth be told ive always thought the quality of the David-TC products were a bit underwhelming with some uncomfortable features.
I had a white David-TC jacket with e wool hood, but there was wire that held up the frame of the hood snd it just felt not nice.
High end goods sold at these type of outlets are substandard! They are actually made to be sold at places like Bicester village!
Yep but you can’t tell so non point paying silly price all made shockingly bad anyways for the price
I don’t think this is true. Maybe with mass produced stuff like Ralph Lauren but stone island jackets in particular are surprisingly low stocked.
Sport’s direct 💩made for them.
@@winstrolchurchill821 My stone island gear have all lasted, no problem with the quality
Some shops I could imagine but with SI it’s the same gear
The stone island crinkle rep down parka is insaaaaaaane
Best stone island piece I've bought and gets loads of comments was a junior paintball parka aged 14 being a small slim man fits perfectly that had a RRP of £715 obviously didn't pay that though quality on that is spot on !!!!
Regarding the zippers what they moving to?
i'm paying much more attention to the 'made in ...' tag.. avoiding the 'made in china' SI items..
Nice! Thanks for the pricing breakdown. I suspect some of their pieces are made especially for outlet as quite a few brands do this at Bicester, inc Moose knuckles
Cheers mate, no stone island do not do that, same items here are the same in the mainline stores, many other brands do this however, Coach, Gucci, Ralph, Dior, Burberry, Etc
A lot of stone island and cp company stuff is made in china and turkey and this does not affect the quality. When it comes to certain fabrics they are using a factory in Limonta (IT)
80s is still the best 😮😮😮
It’s all the same stuff. I brought a jacket from Flannels and seen the same jacket in the Bicester store. I compared the 2 and they are exactly the same , no difference what so ever !!
good deals u got there bro i’ll defo have to pop down next time it’s on. used to go there a few times a year to get my paul smith socks lol and few other things
TBF the paul smith in Bicester had some great deals, I swear i never knew PS had been at bicester all these years😅
@@thehoxtontrend yeah bro honestly try there socks there good quality last for years not sure if that store is made for outlet but odd bits i buy last awhile
The quest for good socks lol
What’s your thought on Massimo Osti Studio first collection, the Alcanatra. Marvellous 🤩
looks good but pricey, I will try and so a review
Nice Adidas jumper.
Nice breakdown Hox
Surprised you didn't pick up some T shirts, were around £65 and jumper/tops for £105, very good quality too.
Stone island t-shirts? What is their fit like? They seem tight?
@@TT-hx9nj I'm a medium usually, their T's were a little loose on me but still ok, they didn't have small so I couldn't compare, Excellent quality, thick material, well stiched together. Really impressed.
I was more rating the adidas fleece so I copped.
I need a sale for the Moncler Gilets, the RRP is crazy right now
Even on sale I feel like it's too much 😢
thats becuase they inflate the rrp so you arent getting a bargain even with 'so called' 50% off. rip off...
These designers are seeing young people of today coming. Rip off prices for mediocre quality.
I remember years ago buying a cardigan on sale in a shop called Cruise Flannels and it was reduced to £20.00 from £120.00. Here's the thing, the shop/manufacturer are still making money from the sale. How does that work?
cost of production, margins, some brands can command insance margins, hence why, when it works with fashion lines and the economy is good, brands can really be lucrative, imagine the mark ups on moncler, cost of production estimate 80$ - rrp $900
@@thehoxtontrend
It's less than $80.
Great video Hox. Thank you. Crazy RRP these days. Seems the kids (read Chinese international students!) are able to throw stupid money at these things. We need to wait for sales events like these!
Mate your Burberry jackets are so much better than that Stoney.
Tbf they are, I did like the lowkey aspect to it, but the price.... goodness 😅😅
Completely gone off designer clothes. One of the biggest waste of doe goin, the clothes are made in bulk for 1/10th of the RRP and num nuts goes an buys it for 200/2000😂😂
are the jackets made in italy?
Indonesia was on many of the labels, I mention within the video, hope that helps.
@@thehoxtontrend probably why the quality is quite low
@@jamiejamking possibly
@@MrSidkhan1 No not at all but usually if a brand wants to lower costs by producing in low wage countries then its likely they use lower cost materials as well.
Sizing is way too big on recent Stone Island, small is way too big for me now
I agree with you
For which items? Their t-shirts seem tight / small.
@TT-hx9nj small jackets used to be 19/20 inches pit to pit are now 22
@@Sub-mb2ks I tried palm angles hoodie and size small is feels like extra small had to get medium size instead but stone island is the opposite
Prices are good but it’s gone down hill since the take over what a shame.
Shame it's gone this way, hopefully they revert back
You say Facebook group but no accepts invite to it would love to join
I'm buying new stuff and my old clothes look better quality and the difference is miles apart I'm not sure what rubbish there making it out of now
All way too big sizes which is always the same problem with outlets
I mean, when I was there, the west size lodges smalls and mediums, albeit yes, they were more of the larger sizes, but it was not exclusively large sizes Hope that helps
Get in the gym bruv
Lol @ the Pink Panther theme
Always play this right before I drift off to sleep, works a treat.😂😂
OUTLET GOODS ARE NEVER MADE TO THE SAME QUALITY!
DONT BE FOOLED!
This still happening?
I heard there is not much left now
@@thehoxtontrend so not much point getting 1st flight from Scotland then 🤣
sizes ....xxxxxxl ffs.
shame about that ...
Stone island use to be High Quality fabric and well made ..
now it's just thin fabric , Chinese made sadly , overpriced. Like arc'terxyl, 😮
Chinese made?
@@TT-hx9nj yeah Chinese
Which items. I've only seen one waterproof jacket made in China, technical fabrics, but china are one of the best for technical fabrics production.
@@TT-hx9nj *see Norway for details
Hope you pay your taxes on them 😂😂😂😂
Flip sake 😂❤
Overpriced crap
The brands at bicester village are made only for the blister village, 5his is why the quality of the designer brands are poor .
Facts. The gucci bags and belts they make their are only for outlets.
Not everything entirely, but a certain perportion for sure.
Yes these brands are two of the biggest culprits, burberry, coach, reiss, ralph, dior have bicester only lines
Was that 50% sale a one off or regular thing?
Normally What I do is travel to india and Kashmir in india We buy cheaper jackets and I will give you warm and comfortable jackets. Because Those jackets are with you are branded and That money actually in Sri lanka and India We can build a home .
