Another banger vid as always 💪🏽 quick question for you Hox... i noticed in the vid you mentioned obviously you're not feeling them Stoney prices so much these days & am inclined to agree, however I've been after a stoney trench coat for a long long time, I've seen them mostly for around £900 - £1000+ mark, but i found one online for like £670... in your opinion would you say that's a steal & should cop immediately lol, obviously the choice will ultimately be mine but i need an expert opinion from someone such as yourself 😅 what you think bro, would i be silly not to or silly for spending even £600 on one? 🤔 I'm not sure whether to pull the trigger on it...eitherway it's a decent chunck of money on a coat in my eyes... what you reckon?
@@Kborodo740 yeah see that's what am thinking man, i rarely see em under 700 - 800 at all, let alone brand new from a retailer so i might just have to get it.

When I was a teenager in the 90's, Bicester Village was awesome. You could get proper designer brands at huge discounts, but now its high end brands with discounts, but still very expensive.
What I feel is as you grow older you're understanding the quilty of material, make and becoming aware it's not anywhere near the price they're asking. When investing in clothes I tend to go for quality so Fred Perry, Barbour or tend to make them myself
Enjoyed this one. I guess not every bargain is what it seems. Just like to say how much I like the way you interact with all the staff and I think it's cool how you give out compliments to people as you go along. New school taste with a bit of old school charm. It's not a bad combination is it. Keep up the good work.
With Ralph Lauren I find some amazing stuff turns up in TK Maxx (probably from America) for cheap and the stuff in the outlet is all really boring and middling quality. Interesting to see what you have over there in the UK we've got a place called Kildare Village has a lot of the same shops but they're not quite as big.
Online is where all the deals are nowadays unfortunately. I've started buying all my stuff from Japan and sending it back here, waaay cheaper. Don't know the last time I've picked something up in person
The discounts just aren't there anymore, i've felt that for my last couple of visits. I went about a month ago and both my friends had the same opinion, won't be going back anytime soon
never was a real discount, they sell a different version of the brands, each brand has a "outlet" version that is made with cheaper fabrics and lower quality, hence the no return policy.
Things change when you have kids, you made the right choice investing in the little one, as time goes by this channel will change , i hope in a good way
I’ve never actually been Bicester and after seeing those si prices I have no intention of visiting.. I picked up a stone island turtleneck knit recently for £200 delivered via online european retailer and you could not get that in store anywhere!
I buy brands not too make a statement but for quality assurance… once you become a man you will be comfortable in your own skin with how the world perceives you and you will not feel insecure ❤️
Bicester is no longer the place to find a bargain! When it first opened there were virtually no special purchases and mainly previous season or older but savings were amazing! I bought three Dunhill tailored suits for £1200 instead of £2400 and they were tailored in their Jermyn street store!! That day I spent £3k and saved over £5k…it was the norm for 50%-70% off. They were proper outlet stores with wall to wall savings! Now it’s just a special purchase scam with no savings!
The thing is with these outlets is that most of the stock are usually made purposely for the outlet and are of lower quality and less detail. It has never usually been in the full price retail stores before it goes there. They're a bit of a con really. You're much better off going to the seasonal sales of regular retailers and places like TK Maxx rather than going to these outlets. You'd get much better deals.
Agree but disagree regarding TK Maxx. I got two Maison Margiela pieces from there a few years back. Both of them fell apart (literally) after a few weeks. Definite faulty items that had been sent to TK Maxx.
Was at Bicester couple weeks ago very poor prices have gone up nothing special there even Paul Smith and Belstaff rate highly not much discount 🤷🏻♂️ Keep up the good work bro stay safe 👊
Bicester Village is not worth it if you think you're going to get top latest designer releases at discount prices. They are legitimate designer brands not fake, but...they are last season old stock/restock and discounted at no different than High Street stores. It's easy to put a £750 on a jacket discount it to £525 when actually it was never £750 in the first place. If you've never been and want a day out then go if it's not too far. Have a bite to eat etc but it's not what you think. I first went 12 years ago. Took a look at the prices then got my phone out and compared elsewhere. GOTCHA!!
What was the price on the Ralph Lauren Hoodies and Polo's? I've not been to Bicester in YEARS! Back then it was priced quite well..... bet inflation has cooked it though lol.
I went at the end of October and was disappointed. Stone Island hardly had anything decent in, bought a yellow jumper but wanted an orange one, they only had junior sizes in. That was my first time there and was a bit of a let down TBH
I used to live there 20+ years ago…..they should never have joined up the last section of the M40 that now passes Bicester. It completely ruined a lovely, small market town. It’s a ruddy nightmare for the locals! Glad to live far from there now.
