  • I had a couple of viewers ask if the Cricut Easy Press would work for the DTF Sublimation hack. Well, I decided to try it and was happy with the results. You may be able to receive a 10% discount using this code MWMARILYN

    YOU ARE SIMPLYYYY A LIFE SAVER!!! I had 35 t shirts to make and I only have a cricut heat press and had to hold the heat press over it for about 3 minutes! My arms were sore 😩

    My gosh I wish I found your channel earlier. Your voice is so calm, I appreciate not having music, & you’re so detailed! I also learned way too late how much that darn Cricut mat was thwarting ALL my efforts. I just couldn’t believe they would even make it if it were so bad, so it took me a while to finally try it on a firm silicone pad and it was truly night & day difference! Bittersweet because I’d gone thru nearly all my sawgrass ink before trying it. Investing in a real press (or just the firm pad if only doing smaller things) is essential! Thank you for doing this video!

      Thank you so much Markie!!!! I so much appreciate your feedback! Yes, I definitely prefer a dense firm pressing mat and agree it makes a big difference for a lot of projects.

    Turn your easy press upside down and put a teflon sheet on the plate then put your transfer on the teflon sheet. Cures in one go and you don't have to keep redoing it

    I love your videos , you explain in detail and with no music . I had no idea about the mat, I’ll order soon . I love my cricut easy press, I saw someone used three pound hand weights to help with pressure. Thank you

    So my cricut heat press does not heat to 385 only 360. So I put it under the heat press and held the heat source close to the print. That did the trick. Turned out great!! So exciting. Thank you :)

      I would definitely recommend the regular film over the glitter film if not using it with true DTF ink. I struggled getting the glitter film off my products and have no problem with the plain film. Good luck with it!

    That looks good. I tried it an it took forever to cure. It also didn't peel so easy an was cracked. I will be trying it again today.

      Oh no!!! Was it the yamation brand (non-glitter)? When I tried the glitter film, I had to fight the fabric to get it off.

    What size was the image

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  Год назад

      I gave the onesy away so can't measure it, but it will depend on the size of your onesy. You can measure the width of the area you have and base your size on that.Mine was a very small onesy so the image would have been about 4 - 4.5 inches wide.

      @@MakingwithMarilyn hello thanks for the fast reply. I actually use the yamation dtf powder medium grain. I believe I did not cure the powder right. I will try again later today but I do have a Eco tank that I sub from which came out better.
