- I watched a free class by Francisca Nunes about making a fragments journal and was re-inspired to make one of my own. This is a floral themed fragments journal and in this video I show how I painted the flowers on the cover. Enjoy!

Yes Susan, this is an easy and effective way to paint flowers. The LORD gave me the inspiration to paint them this way because I'm just not that clever on my own. LOL! 🩷🩷🩷
When I was teaching Helen I used a similar technique with my students. We made branches by ink blowing with a straw. Then we added blossoms by using the children’s finger prints. Simple but effective. 💓🌸

Thank you so much for this video. I was going to attempt these flowers, but would have never thought to use the chunky brush and I happen to have a couple of them on hand that I’m not sure I have ever used. I didn’t know what to do with them. I love the airy effect of the flowers and now I will attempt them myself. ❤

Sweet cover for your journal, Helen. Funny I had some of those brushes but threw them out before our move to Ohio. I do have one stencil brush but it is a bigger brush. I will look at my D25T next time. Thanks for the idea and plan to give it a try.
